The staff were trying not to be rude, which is completely different to hospitable. But then no one really smiles in Tel Aviv anyway, unless they’re at the Sheraton, where they’re paid to smile. The room was not big enough for the two single beds. It’s only suitable for a double - and would barely work then. It SHOULD NEVER be offered when configured for two single beds.

There was a general sense of dinginess, the aircon was loud and the room dark. I didn’t know the Bauhaus period was known for its grime, so perhaps we should blame the 1920s.

My friend stayed. I moved out.

We spent a night here for a birthday weekend away in the city (I live in Israel). The room was billed as 'spacious' which is a joke as it was tiny. Also, as we were on the ground floor the room was stuffy and smelt heavily of air freshener (probably used to mask the stuffy smell). When I asked to move I was told there were no other rooms available. However, saying that it was clean and the beds were comfortable. And it is very central and close to the beach.

Then there was the noise, we could hear everything from reception plus all the other guests tramping past our room. Then at 4am two men were arguing in the street outside and kept us away until 6am. If you're on a strict budget then it's OK but I will not be staying here again!

Wow, Where to start. I would not even go back to spend one night even if someone paid me to do so. This is the worst hotel I have ever tried. Cockroaches in the room, mold in the room, moist and so loud both from inside and outside the hotel. The room was so small that I could not even open the bathroom door fully because the bed was in the way. It says that there is breakfast included, which is not true. The breakfast is for additional price and it’s not served at the hotel as stated, it is served at a nearby coffee shop that was closed during my visit. The hosts are not very helpful and the place is very dirty. Filthy bathroom, hair in the bed and stains on the sheets and towels. Like I said, I would not go back even if someone paid me to

We stayed here for one night and that was enough. The room we stayed in, was the smallest I ever seen. We brushed our teeth in the shower, because that was where the sink is. Very thin walls so you could hear everything, really everything.
The guy at the reception was not very friendly, but I think it was his personality. He tried to help us as much as possible.

Breakfast was in another hotel. We arrived at the seaside hotel: the breakfast area was dirty, nothing fresh (not even bread or fruit) and the staff couldn’t care less. After two minutes we decided to go elsewhere.

I was staying a night before my early morning flight to save a little bit of time. Terrible decision!
First the guy at the reception was not so friendly.
The room was really bad, no was TERRIBLE!! the smell of mold from the shower, NO HOT WATER in the shower, the sink was so tiny I couldn’t wash my face because there is a shelf on top of it, blocking what a horrible design!
please be CAREFUL from the floor at the shower, when I was stepping out of the shower I felt really hard on the one staircase to the room because it was no rug on the floor and the tiles was not meant to be as a shower tiles.
If you don’t wan back injury don’t book this hotel!
In addition I don’t think they are changing the Linens too was really bad smell! This hotel is really bad you can add a little extra and get better experience with no injuries.

After a nightmare journey we arrived at this absolute hole in the wall (literally) after midnight.

Greeted by the rudest man I’ve ever met who initially refused to even open the security gate to let us off the street.

He began by saying we’re to late, he gave our room (a seven night booking) to someone else when we hadn’t arrived, this despite there being no number available to call.

Then he changed to there was no booking!

The power cut out, plunging us into absolute darkness, freaking my daughter to the point she was crying, to which this charming character said tell her to shut up people are asleep!

He then told us there was nothing he could do and we had to leave.

I sh*t you not!

A mother, 55 and 5’ tall with her 16 year old daughter, he turned us out onto the street at about 03:00.

But before he could he had to get a knife to force the security gate as the power outage had damaged the locking release mechanism.

He seemed less than thrilled when I asked him what would happen if there had been a fire.

So here we are on the streets of Tel Aviv at 03:00 in the morning, cases and about an ounce of sanity left.

Cars pulled up to the bus stop we’d sat at and offered us rides. I don’t think they meant a taxi service, other night walkers slammed the side of the bus shelter and others just stared with a tinge of malice.

I was very afraid.

After trying several other hotels in the area, walking from one to the other rather than sitting as bait, we finally (05:00) found a room in the Maxim Hotel one street over.

I hope Mr Central Hotel (with the nasty toes) your Willy falls off into the toilet and your fingers shrivel up.

Don’t foul yourselves with the nice photos reality is different.I attended real photos to let people see and be ready.Don’t go for Bed and Breakfast because breakfast is served in the café shop next door not in the motel.Indeed beach is 5 min away walking, water is hot and sun not burning. Jerusalem old city is lovely worth the visit just take the map from the station if you don’t plan to get the guide (they want help you because want you to get guide). If you’re white they will assume you’re Russian which I didn’t like.Be ready prices are high some higher than U.K.

My family stayed at the Central Hotel in Panama for few days before and after a fishing trip to Panama. The staff was amazing & friendly. I had left my phone. Not only did they find and keep the phone until I was back, but everything was in the case as I had left it. The staff setup a couple of day tours for us that were truly terrific. They have always been polite and professional and some even helped us practice Spanish with them more during our stay.

The hotel is modern inside, but still maintains the historical charm of Panama. The rooms have been upgraded and are clean as is the hotel. There is dining downstairs or you can go up to the rooftop pool and bar area. If looking to stay in the old historic section of town. The hotel should be on top of your list. Will definitely stay here again on next visit to Panama City.
