The Diaghilev LOFT live art hotel is a bohemian boutique hotel that offers an extraordinary and exceptional cultural experience intensified by excellent personal service. The hotel features an art gallery that changes once a month and an ongoing exhibiting with over 600 artworks that change every year, all unique and mostly radical decor items, a collection of hand made rugs from all over the universe, most of which are ancient and therefore reflect the aged cultures they originate from. The Diaghilev established a HUB for Start-ups and integrated a broad activity in such fields as design, fashion, and technology. The uniqueness of the hotel brought it into prominence among internationally acknowledged artists visiting Tel Aviv and the world of technology and start-up. Many employees of the leading corporations in the world choose the Diaghilev as their base in Tel Aviv. Built-in the purest Bauhaus, the Diaghilev invites its guests to experience a World Cultural Heritage site rich in hundreds of Bauhaus buildings and get a taste of the “White City.” Our uncommon nocturnal concept was designed taking account of recent scientific research that showed evidence that black beddings cause intensive production of Melatonin hormone, which results in deeper sleep, stronger immune system, and increased anti-aging effect. The Diaghilev is an eco-friendly hotel, committed to a continually expanding list of operating practices that aim to maintain minimal environmental impact. The toiletries at the Diaghilev are of outstanding quality. They are produced from natural materials created from plants cultivated for this purpose in the hills of Jerusalem. These products are manufactured and packaged at a small factory that employs people with disabilities and integrates them into the labor market. Our creativity-support concept leads to the establishment of the HUB - a shared work environment that is more than a physical workplace for creative entrepreneurs: It is designed to nurture a community in which creators will be able to collaborate with one another in order to produce innovative projects and initiatives.

This small hotel is centrally located, you can walk to many tourist locations, great restaurants and Rothschild street. While checking in we got a much needed courtesy drink!!! Open Wifi in all spaces.
We got upgraded to a suite, which was a small charming one bedroom with living room and kitchenette including nespresso coffee maker, the space provided a very comfortable stay. They use refill containers for toiletries (no single use plastic - excellent). Lobby area is simple, decorated with up beat art, it serves as a gallery and host guided tours to admire and hear about the art pieces. It has an outdoor terrace at the back to enjoy the good weather. There is a small restaurant -Backstage - that provides great food (separate review) with indoor and outdoor seating and take out. All staff were professional and helpful. Highly recommended.

Every member of staff we met was very friendly and helpful. We had room 611 and were very pleased with it, clean, spacious and comfortable. The balcony was a nice feature, especially for breakfast in the morning sun. There is a wide variety of Art on display on just about every wall.
The "Backstage" a la carte is a nice cosy place to have a light meal with excellent service.
We found the location very convenient within easy reach of so many places we wanted to visit. Should we ever go back to Tel Aviv this is most certainly the Hotel we will stay at.

loved-The staff is welcoming, the mattress is excellent, parking is convenient. Good air conditioning, pleasant balcony,
Disliked-The place advertises as if it has a fully equipped kitchenette, there is only an electric kettle which is a basic in any hotel even when taking one room, no stove, no microwave, not even a kitchen knife. , there are basic cutlery and some plates that of course are useless.there is no restaurant or any dining option in the hotel' they dont serve breakfast and you ca not prepare any food yourself There are no drawers for storage in the bedroom. And the wardrobe is a niche of shelves covered with an ugly curtain inside the kitchenette. The living room is spacious but has a small and uncomfortable two-seater sofa. In general, the hotel needs a"face lift", we stayed there a few years ago and the time and neglect of the small details such as worn and dirty furniture is evident. Too bad there is no TV in the bedroom

Recommend to anyone looking for a vacation, no matter what type of vacation at all, just go anywhere else. It is better to sleep in any AIRBNB apartment in the city, than in this musty and bad hotel that is full of people who are just trying to sting the payment and treat guests like "garbage". ** As an example of the low level of the rooms, attached is a picture of the ceiling of the room, which dripped water non-stop. From the receipt in response to the drip, it was said that it was irrelevant and that for them it was a common and small problem and they cut off the conversation in our face. ** From the reception !! **.

It used to be our favorite hotel when visiting TLV. The pandemic and probably new management have changed things for the worst. Instead of friendly staff the team seems to be demotivated and could care less about the guests. The rooms are neglected and not well maintained, and instead of art there are cheap posters on the walls hanged with nails. There is no option of getting coffee in the hotel. This is what I would expect from a 50$ a night not from a 300$ one. Real shame. Will not be back

The location was great. I didn't want to stay at one of the beach hotels, but I wish I had because this hotel was rundown and tacky. The pitch is "Live Art Hotel," and I was expecting artwork in the lobby and in my room. Even if I didn't appreciate the art, everyone has their own taste. The artwork in the lobby and rooms are only posters, some stained, pinned to the wall with thumb tacks. Remined me of when I was a teenager tacking posters in my room. Lightening cheap, dirty, and missing bulbs. There was a weird bean bag in the living room area that had no practical function. The only redeeming value was the breakfast area run by (obviously not by the hotel) a mother and daughter. For the price - expensive when I stayed - I would rather sleep in a tent. Harsh but true.

We chose a Premium room expecting 'premium' amenities and service..no such luck! The room is large but empty of any style and cold- despite the art work. The bathroom is small and very basic. Towels were shredded at the edges and thin. Closets were like those found in hostels - at best. Bed was ok. Pillows uncomfortable and lumpy. Kleenex box was empty with no additional supplies in the room. When asked for a refill, we were told by the front desk that she only covers the front desk and there was no way she could provide it. (There is no housekeeping department). We were aware that there is no food service but the feel of this hotel is like staying in a hostel and for the rates this hotel is asking ... a hostel would have been better value for money!!

I stayed here on my brother's recommendation, and he was right. Great place, very comfortable bed, quiet. Art everywhere, close to many things.
My only disappointment-breakfast. At most hotels in Israel ( and this is my 14th trip, so I have had lots of chances to compare), the included breakfast is a pretty good dairy vegetarian buffet. Not here; a really meager menu from which you could order one thing, and the service was slow and unfriendly even by Israeli standards (and the waitress was American, so she didn't have a cultural excuse).

Stay here. Get breakfast at one of the many cafes in the area instead.

Let me start by saying the service from Khalil was beyond what most get. Hhe helped us make a reservation and organising taxi rides. Always with a friendly smile. Our luck being the room was ready upon arrival. The beds were very comfortable and the room was cleaned to perfection. Samir the breakfast cook made the most amazing coffee, eggs, omlettes and deserts and home made bagels. Even if you arrive early you can pay to get in and it's worth it.

Very accommodating staff, and excellent room and hotel: i’ve been very happy during my stay at this wonderful hotel. The room I am in makes me feel like it’s my apartment, I have a kitchen area, a nice bedroom, and the living room. I like the style of the furniture, and there’s a nice window that lets in light. I’m very happy that the lock to the door is electronic, because I sometimes forget my keys, so this makes my life easy! But most important of course is the staff. They were very Very nice from the moment I stepped in, from the front desk to the cleaning staff. I recommend this hotel to everyone
