An excellent hotel in central city. Very friendly, helpful staff. Clean & comfortable rooms with many thoughtful details in the room. They were very careful about Covid safety and made us feel at home. They even provided coffee and fruits at 4:30 AM when were leaving for the airport!

This is my second review of Casa del Arbol Galerias as I wrote one for them a few years ago. Since my first stay, I have visited probably between 15 and 20 times and for the most part, I am pretty thoroughly happy with their quality of service and hotel facility. This last trip however was just another example of how they go above and beyond the call of what a normal hotel would do.
Before going into how they had impressed me, you need to know that this hotel has about 27 rooms in it. One of my jobs as a high school athletic/activities director is to find a place to stay when my teams travel to San Pedro for sport and other activities. On this particular trip, we had more students than the hotel could hold and so rather than canceling our reservation and looking for a bigger hotel (because I highly value the relationship we have built up with Casa del Arbol over the years), I asked them (Eduardo) the question of where he would look to stay if he were in my position.
To make a long story short, Eduardo ended up calling around to other hotels and actually ended up making a reservation for part of our group at another hotel… A COMPETITOR!!! I didn't ask him to do it, all I asked was for suggestions, but like always, Eduardo (as well as the rest of the staff at Casa Del Arbol), once again, went way above and beyond expectations for us as their customer.
Thank you Casa del Arbol, we look forward to many more years of staying at your fine establishment!

I came to San Pedro Sula for 2 weeks with a large group for school. It was my first time in Honduras. As soon as we pulled up to the hotel building, I was impressed and knew this hotel would add to my wonderful experience. I have never seen such a hospitable, outgoing and amicable family of staff. I never had a negative experience at this hotel, I can only rave about their wholeheartedness. The entire staff definitely went far out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Their breakfast is awesome, so many choices; typical Honduran foods to cereals and large fresh platters of tropical fruits. There is free wifi throughout the entire facility and the rooms have air conditioning, which works fabulously. I loved their efforts to conserve energy and remind us to save water, it made my experience better knowing this huge hotel was conscious of being green. The facility is very nice, always kept so clean and inviting!

I have stayed here often during my visits to San Pedro Sula to visit my then fiancée, now wife. The rooms are extraordinarily clean and modern. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the price is very affordable. The food is great and reasonably priced. I have stayed in many facilities in San Pedro Sula and this one is hands down the best. I will return every time I visit San Pedro Sula in the future. It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood and is well maintained.

San pedro sula is economically important to honduras, it contributes a very high percentage of the country's foreign currency earnings from tangible goods. It is however of negligible cultural value and if you are a tourist should be passed through as fast as possible. It is not as dangerous as the old internet stories say, I have felt a lot more threatened in numerous cities in the USA or Africa, but it is a bit grim.

No

The hotel reflects the market. It is ok. No better no worse. Facilities are thin: no restaurant, pool, aircon but it does have a tree growing though the middle of it if that's your thing.

The people are pleasant enough, but given the choice of a two hour drive to Copin, where the mayan ruins are or an overnight here, I'd take the drive everytime.

Friendly staff, nice shower, slept so well on those pillows. I should have asked if I could buy a couple before I left. I was not expecting to pay $100 for a hotel in Honduras, but it was similarly priced to other hotels.

The room was nice and clean and the daily breakfast was delicious. What really sets this hotel apart is the very friendly staff and excellent service that you can't get at a bigger hotel. Located near the Galerias mall, many restaurants and shops are close by. I always felt safe which can't easily be said in much of San Pedro. I would highly recommend this hotel and will be returning when business brings me back to Honduras.

Few hotels offer excellent price-quality-service!!! This is what this hotel does, although from the photos or when you first enter the hotel, you will not have that impression. Service: the best I have ever had in any hotel, truly impressive, and from all all staff! Rooms are just great (beds super comfortable), roomy enough, very well equipped, all clean and tidy, fabulous!! All the social and ecological involvement of the hotel is very important to mention.
Food is the only one I think should improve.. especially dinner in a weekend or variety for vegetarians.
Thank you Donaldo jnr, thank you all!!
