The hotel has nice and big rooms, bathrooms are okay and quite modern. Hotel was very clean and comfortable and quiet. The rooms are in need of some re-decoration, decor looks like beginning of the 80s.

Breakfast was nothing special, bread, jam, some meats and cheese.

All in all, not a special hotel, but did not regret going there either.

I stayed at this hotel since all other surrounded hotels are fully booked & overpriced. Here are some adv. & disadv. of the hotel :
Price was relatively high for the services provided.
Short distance “10 minutes walking” from train station.
The location of the hotel is perfect and the view is very nice & pleasant, since the hotel is in front of a big park in Interlaken and the view of mountains is clear.
The hotel offered a free Parking.
There is a free wifi available in all rooms with good signal. Internet service was extremely good & fast.
Big rooms, very clean & clean bathrooms.
Good & enough breakfast choices “bread , cheese, fruits, coffee milk tea, egg, flakes,, etc”
But,,
The reception is only for check-in-out no service at all only some papers at front disk.
There was no A/C nor Fan in the rooms.
No storage safe ! , No in-room refrigerator
No drainage system in the floor in bathrooms so water can easily flood outside to the room & the hotel give you a warning letter upon check-in stated that in case of over flooded water you will be charged 100 CHF , which I found weird & rude. Since only old & not practical plastic curtains are around the shower & it’s absouloutly impossible to not spill water outside the shower area !!! even though they didn’t charge us anything but it was a negative point.
The TV is very small “maybe 16” or smaller” & only one English channel & one Arabic Channel the rest are Swiss or other.
There is only three power plugs in the room one for TV , one near the door & one at bathroom.

Overall, It’s not a special hotel, but was ok & did not regret going there either.

Overall, this hotel was just OK. The lobby was not terribly welcoming, their internet was over priced (5euro for 15 mins) the rooms were fine, nothing special. We had a nice remodeled bathroom, but the group we were traveling with said they had horribly ugly and old bathrooms consisting of brown and orange tile and showers that had no hot water. THe location was good, just a block off the main street through the town
Also, the room key situation was a bit sketchy. Your room key has a huge weight on it so that you do not take it with you when you leave the hotel(i suppose they don't want you to take it and lose it?). You just leave it hanging on a wall in lobby and take a smaller key without the weight on your way out. So basically any one could walk into the hotel, take a key off the wall and walk into a room. There is never any one at the front desk to watch the keys,so we were very wary and never left any valuables in the room
The beds were fine, although there were no sheets, only a down comforter. We had a balcony, which was nice.
I did really enjoy the breakfast here. They did a very good job on presentation and coffee, and it was quite tasty.
Overall, I wouldn't go back here, there seemed to be much nicer hotels for the same price.

Arriving in the hotel, we looked around and found rather outdated furniture and decoration. It was not just the aesthetics of the building that gave this opinion, but the features of the hotel and a general air which said, "this place is old!"

We had a speedy check-in and got into a room with two single beds. However, they were up against each other very tight -- it was just like sleeping in a double bed. The pillows and bed were far too soft and did not really give a comfortable night's sleep.

We struggled to find a powerpoint in order to charge our electronic equipment, so we just unplugged the TV.. and having no TV in a hotel room is unforgivable in the 21st century (or having no powerpoints.. look at it either way you prefer!)

The bathroom was small and cramped. It was hard to shower without hitting elbows or knees on the wall - unless your concept of a shower is to stand still under running water and not wash.

The best thing about the room was the view, which gave us a very picturesque sight of the Swiss Alps.

One feature advertised by the hotel is free WiFi access. While we were able to connect to the WiFi access point, it turns out it wasn't connected to the Internet properly, and so such a feature was useless.

Breakfast was mediocre at best, offering little variety -- each day, there were some cereal, yogurt tubs, croissants, bread rolls, hams, cheese and a small selection (2-3) of fruits. In terms of drinks, we were each offered coffee or tea, and there was also two juices, milk and some powder-drinks.

Service was very average. Staff were very friendly, however only helped you out if you went on a mission to seek them out for help. A bit of care-factor on the staff's part wouldn't hurt anyone.

Below, I say 'not sure' about Spa and Swimming Pool.. these services are not present. I also ticked 'no' for free high speed Internet based on the fact it didn't even work for us.

Overall, considering the price and the various elements which are (and aren't!) present in the hotel, this is not a place I'd recommend to anyone, especially given the number of nearby, better-looking alternatives which also happen to feature a low price.

Dreadful Hotel! Room cost €100 and not worth a penny. Don't let the name fool you this is a very tired hotel. Rooms in need of decoration and bathroom grotty. Bedding was old and not very clean and there appeared to be no smoke alarm in the room. Very unusual key system and only one person on duty for the whole hotel. Would definately not recommend this hotel.

We were shuttled here from our original hotel due overbooking of groups.

We had no balcony, no hot coffee, no hot breakfast, no in-room storage safe, no in-room refrigerator, and overall lack of staff.

There usually appeared to be one person trying to keep up what breakfast they provided, manage the business phones and deal with customers.

They use an unusual room key system, so that you get a key to the hotel's front door when you place your room key into their automated system. Then you get your room key back when you replace the front door key. Great for them in saving money on front desk personnel but lousy for us wanting things like wake-up calls or "service."

Yes, the bathrooms were clean but no personality at this hotel.

Oh, 1 person was there to receive our entire ski bus.

I will now avoid this hotel unless you are desperate.

Amongst the cleanest and most beautifully maintained service apartment I have been. We travelled with family - self, wife and son and stayed for 3 nights, The apartment overlooks a lush green field in the middle of town. Located at a quite locality and yet close to the centre of the town. On a clear day you could see Jungfrau from the adjoining street. Unfortunately the apartment we stayed at didn't have a mountain view.
