My husband and I, along with our 17 year old son, stayed here on our first trip to Venice. The hotel was in a perfect location that allowed us to take a water taxi straight from the airport to the hotel, which was very convenient. It was close enough to St. Mark’s Square without being too close. We didn’t want to be too close to the touristy areas for many reasons. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast each morning that was included with our rate. The hotel is beautiful and clean and has a nice courtyard right off the small lobby area that leads to the entrance/exit. We had a junior suite that had a queen size bed and also a nice single bed for our son. The room and bathroom were spacious and well-appointed. The ONLY drawback was that air conditioning was not an option at the time of year we were there (early spring) which wouldn’t have been a problem, but to have any air circulating in the room, we had to sleep with the windows open since the room was too warm for us to sleep. The temperature was great with the windows open. HOWEVER, with no screens on the windows (which is the case in all of Europe, not just Venice) mosquitos got in during the night and my son, who was sleeping near the window, had quite a few mosquito bites on him. We should have known better with all the water around Venice! The next night, however, we asked for a fan and was provided with a nice big oscillating fan that helped cool the room and circulate the air. They told us that they do use air conditioning in the summer though for future reference. But in spite of that, this was still our favorite hotel we stayed in on our three-city tour of Italy. It’s a great value and we loved the ambience, cleanliness, staff, breakfast and the location. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when we return to Venice!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, to celebrate my birthday. It was our first visit to Venice, in fact our first visit to Italy. We loved this hotel, we received a friendly welcome upon arrival and from all the staff that we encountered. Sam who made us an aperol spritz every night was fab, always had a smile and enjoyed chatting to us, he also recommended 2 excellent restaurants for us to try. Our room had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean, it was a little noisy in the morning as we overlooked the canal and obviously the venetians have work to do, we stayed in room 104, you could hear them early in the morning making their way down the canal, but it really wasn't too much of a problem, we loved our room and watching life go by from our window. Breakfast was great, just what you need to start the day, we sat in the window, with an arch that looked out onto the canal, while we ate, it was beautiful. This hotel is lovely, we loved the cosy courtyard, the convenience of the location and all the staff, definately would love to return and would 100% stay here again. Just one thing to note, the hotel offers a complimentary trip to Murano to the glass workshop, which was interesting, however please be aware that the hotel will take you there free, but do not return to collect you, which was not written on the information and was something that we were unaware of,along with another couple from our hotel, until it was time to return and we realised we had to make our own way back, so please bear that in mind, the hotel will take you but will not pick you back up. We loved Venice, it is an amazing city, so beautiful and we loved this hotel, definitely worth a visit.

We always have an excellent stay here when travelling to Venice. It’s in a great location and the hotel itself is stunning and inviting. Our room is always adequate and very clean with beautiful large artwork to give you a real Venetian feel. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful, especially the concierge (my apologies for not getting his name) who went above and beyond to meet our needs and give us great recommendations! If you decide to pay for the water taxi from the airport it arrives right up to the hotel canal entrance and when we had a unfortunately very early flight they arranged to have a water taxi ready for us at 4am. They are so professional and make you feel so taken care of so you can relax and go get lost in Venice. Thanks again Liassidi…see you next time!!!

A massive positive is location - a really quiet area close to St Mark's but away from the hustle and bustle.
The courtyard area and reception are welcoming and look pleasant. The bar was not open for two nights of our stay so we cannot comment on it as didn't use as we had found alternatives by the time it did open.
Our rooms 302 & 303 were reasonably spacious and spotlessly clean, but had a little of the faded grandeur about them. The mirrored ceiling in 303 and the damp patches and missing plaster in 302 was a bit off putting!
The bathrooms were spotlessly clean, but the showers were inadequate for a four star graded hotel. The shower in room 302 is only able to be used hand held, the shower in 303 can be put on the wall but the shower screen is so old and doesn't fit properly that water comes through and soaks the floor
The route from reception to our rooms can only be described as grim, as can be seen in the photos. Not what I'd expect at all in a four star hotel.
Breakfast was very poor, a very limited selection of cold, continental style breakfast, no facilities to make your own hot drinks which had to be served to you. The only hot food on offer seemed to be scrambled eggs with sausage which was very greasy. The fruit juice was particularly poor quality.

I stayed with my partner for a couple of days at the beginning of July 20.
The price is slightly below other 4 star hotels with similar ratings and that s the reason why we ended up there.
But don't be fooled by the price. The hotel is nowhere near the level you'd expect from a 4 star hotel with an excellent ranking. The corridors are old and ugly, the parquet is extremely cheap, it does not have a proper lobby. Our room, despite being not the cheapest one, was small, with an old and worn carpet (when was the last time it was properly cleaned), full of sign of tears. The bathroom would have been ok, unfortunately the shower was incredibly uncomfortable.
Definitely a no go. I know venice fairly well and there are either some B&B which are cheaper and much nicer and some 5* hotels which, for a moderate price increase, will provide you with much better accomodation.
The only pros of this place is the reception staff, very nice and helpful

I, along with 6 of my closest friends had the pleasure of staying at Liassidi Palace Hotel for a week during Thanksgiving break. Out of all of the hotels I have stayed at in Italy, this is by far my favorite. From the spacious rooms to the delightful staff, Liassidi Palace has it all! We took a private boat from the airport straight to the dock, which I highly recommend. It took about 30 minutes, at gives you a nice tour of the canals leading up to the hotel. Check in was easy, and we were surprised with a comped breakfast during our stay. My boyfriend and I stayed in the deluxe suite with a sauna, while 4 other friends stayed across the grand sitting room from us in the 4 person suite (our last friend stayed upstairs in a single room). Each suite was spacious and provided excellent views of the canal and surrounding areas. The sauna room was extremely romantic. Sammy, the bartender, took care of us the entire trip, and the front desk staff helped us with all of our requests. The location is a quick walk from St. Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge, where my boyfriend ended up proposing to me :) Sammy had champagne waiting for us when we got back, and the front desk sent up another bottle of prosecco, as well as a plate of fruit for our room. Sammy also helped set up a group dinner for us at a delicious restaurant near by. I could not recommend this hotel more! We felt taken care of each step of the way. I hope to visit again someday soon!

This hotel is located 5 minutes from the Marco Polo Plaza and all the touristic attractions. The front desk people were helpful and nice. The place is clean and conveniently located to local restaurants and places.

The breakfast service needs improvement beginning with the service. I am sure there are more than 1 worker but we saw only one rude lady. She was plain hateful. Other than that I would rate this hotel as just average.

We had a great five nights at this hotel.

It is perfectly located just outside the hustle and bustle yet only a five minutes walk from Piazza San Marco.

The breakfast is still somewhat restricted in terms of having to be served everything at your table however the staff were more than accommodating to each request.

The courtyard at the front of the building is lovely.

We were there for 2 nights and overall we were satisfied but not overtly impressed. The location is good in that it is an easy walk to the Grand Canal and all the attractions that offers. In addition, we had absolutely no issue with our room which overlooked one of the side canals. The room itself was in fact a suite as it was comprised of two rooms - the bedroom and a lounge with the latter having a foldaway bed as well so could have easily accommodated 4 people. In addition, the room offered everything else we needed.
So why only 3 stars!
The lobby/ reception area was often unmanned and when it was, the staff were a little standoffish as were some of the other staff we met.
No help was offered in moving our bags to the room.Access to the rooms, be it by lift or stairs, was through a small corridor to them which offered little as it came across as completely sterile and not something you would expect in a so called 4 star hotel.
If in Venice again, this hotel would not be on the agenda.

I Booked a room with canal view and was upgraded on a marvelous corner suite of 55 SQM on second floor. Superb view on the bridge of the greeks and canal, private sauna and room with 5 windows, enormous living room before the entrance. Large bathroom with jacuzzi and celling with 4 meters. 5 minutes walk from San Zaccaria vaporetto stop, take the small calle de la Pietà, between the church and hotel Metropole. Good breakfast on the courtyard. You can go to a Murano visit with free with taxi, start every morning. 5 minutes walk to San Marco place and 10 to Rialto bridge. Wifi work even on the restaurant on the other side of the bridge. A great expérience,
