On arrival to the apartments there were roadworks outside the door which obviously can't be helped, rubbish bags on the step and the glass door had a huge crack in it, there were big laundry trolleys in the entryway (which remained for our stay) so wasn't the greatest welcome!
One of our party had arrived on an earlier flight but did say that whilst the information given to go to Black Swan was not a problem it was apparently not as straight forward as it could have been once there.

Apartments however are in an excellent location, ideal for public transport and getting about by foot.
A credit card was taken and deposit of €600 for the two room taken off, now I understand why a card must be held however was annoyed the money was actually taken off the card and took a week and a message from myself to have it returned.

Apartments had everything you could need for a stay and the two bathrooms are an absolute bonus, complete with complimentary toiletries, towels and hairdryer.

The walls are VERY thin, you can hear people going by outside (think early AM revellers shouting etc down the street! ) And we were also complained about for noise, the following night to this another group were very loud in the building, this is just people having fun, I wouldn't personally complain however just as warning some people do.

Water went off due to the road works from 9-3 whilst we were there, again not a problem of the owners however there was a note on the door in Spanish they maybe could have warned us in advance in order for us all to be up early to shower.
We had two apartments and one of them had no hot water the whole three nights there, I did let them know via WhatsApp as reception is in a seperate building a walk away and they responded promptly with instructions to fix the boiler however we were out and about until late so didn't have a chance to try until late - at which point the instructions didn't help but there was no one to assist by which point we were leaving the following morning with them not having showered once in their own apartment in the three nights stay!

All in all though (showering and thin walls aside) a great apartment with everything you need for a short or longer stay, WiFi, air con, washing machine, dishwasher etc excellent location and pretty much as pictures show (more wear and tear in real life but fine, nothing to complain about) and great value for money.

nothing like the photos.... terrible damp smell in the kitchen, some dirty dishes in the cupboards, one dirty towel in the suspicious washing machine, no salt or sugar, nothing but a little dishes and washing up liquid, just one sponge, no cloth. The kettle isn't working properly and is dangerous (won't stop automatically most of the time). The shower in one bathroom has no shower curtain, the other bathroom has a bath with curtain but damp on the wall and no bath plug, no soap. The sofa bed, had no proper bedlinen for the "mattress" which was party made of the sofa cushion. One metal bedframe is extremely noisy, and the worse for me was no mattress protector..... just a single sheet on the mattress. Only 2 toilets rolls for 5 for 3 days..... The floor were not very clean and there is nothing to clean the floors but a very smelly mop (responsible for the terrible smell in the kitchen). Only 4 seats at the table when the appartment is rented for 6...Only positive points were the location, it's very handy, and the wireless was working (but cutting a lot) Would definitely not recommend! Worse accommodation we ever had.

We visited Barcelona with my 4 friends and stayed here for 6 days.
We booked 2br/2b apartment online.

When we arrived we had to pick up keys at the hotel located few blocks away from our place (about 15 minutes walking) and place a deposit of 300 euro. It was pleasure for us to take a walk there but someone could find it inconvenient.

The apartment is not for the experienced traveler who expects class style and service but it is clean, has a simple contemporary decor and absolutely everything to provide a comfortable stay for a group of friends or family.

Las Ramblas Appartments III has a great location at the city center only 2 blocks away from the main square Placa Catalunya and Las Rambla. The metro station Urquinaona is just 50 steps away and Palace of Catalan Music is around the corner.
The Boqueria Market is 5-7 minutes walking distance from the appartment and kitchen has everything needed for cooking. We enjoyed making dinner of fresh fish and vegetables.

Everything in the apartment was just as we expected except of that there were no cold water in kitchen and shower curtain was missing. But we were so excited about the city and had so much fun that never called or visited manager. I'm quite sure that if we did, they could fix it immidiately - the desk stuff seemed to be friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay and would reccomend Las Ramblas Appartments III to a group of friends or family.

The most inconsiderate apartment owners we have met. We arrived at the apartment for a week with babies and they did not bother to update us because on the street and also in the building construction work is going on all day. The children could not sleep. When we decided to leave they refused to give us the money back.
We slept in the apartment one night and we were charged for a whole week !!
Do not recommend anyone to stay in their apartments!

Had to pay for the apartments in a building approximately 25 minutes walk away from where we were actually staying which was difficult to find.I was met by a woman behind the desk who seemed flustered and charged me more than I had originally booked the apartment for. She claimed this was for the cleaning of the apartment which I turned down as I was only staying for a couple of nights. The girl told me that the cleaning fee was included no matter what and so I accepted.

The apartment itself was dated and uncomfortable and there was no attempt by staff to clean the apartment while I stayed there and so I wondered what I had paid for at reception. The money issues continued after I arrived home as I noticed the owners of the apartment had taken a further 200 euros from my account 2 days after I got home. When I emailed questioning the owners about this they responded, claiming it was because I damaged the carpet in the apartment. When I told them this was impossible as my apartment contained wooden floor throughout, they behaved very unprofessionally and told me there was nothing I could do about it.

I have since had to change my bank details as my bank informed me that the owners had attempted to take even more money from my account but luckily they were able to block them. Customers should not be fooled into thinking they are getting a good deal, like I was, as it will prove to be far more expensive than you think.

There is a security deposit scam going on!!!!!

When we arrived we had to walk about a mile to collect keys and we were then hit with a cleaning fee and city tax on top of our agreed amount. When we got to the apartment there were people already staying there and we had walked in on a family having something to eat.

We called the person and the advised they had given us the wrong apartment so rather than offering to bring the replacement keys (as they should have been apologising to the other family), but no they forced myself and my children to walk another mile back to the pickup location we were at first of all.

Trying to put this behind us and enjoying the rest of our holiday we arrived at the new apartment, nervously entering incase it was again already occupied.

Anyway we were pleasantly surprised when we first opened the door...that was, until the smell of the place hit you like a knockout punch to the nose.

The beds had no bedsheets on them, the bin had not even been emptied and the fridge smelt like it had a wash with milk.

Our woes continued when the shower head in the bathroom fell off mid shower and we were constantly disturbed early hours in the night from noisy party goers.

I had tried calling the person many times during our short stay and to no avail they did not even pick up the phone.

We had thought we had left this bad experience behind us that was until we arrived home and then a couple of days later I had 250 euro removed from my account.

When I asked to what reason I had lost my security deposit I was informed that I had set off "noise alarms" have you ever heard the like. My children can make a little noise (as all kids do) but not past 8pm. Complete disgrace.

I have been fighting to get back my money and have got no where so as a word of advice rather than being disappointed and stolen from just pick somewhere else.

We booked this apartment for 4 nights. As we made the reservation a picture showed the apartment structure. As we booked for 4 people we really wanted to have 2 separtae rooms and where ready to pay more for that. We where really surprised when discovered that one room of teh apartment was already rented to another couple. Finally we discovered that even there we had only one room available for all of us.
The ckicken has a couch where 2 peopla are intented to sleap, the room is connected to teh kitschen and there is no door. In fact the room is nothing else that a balcony or a "winther garden". Bathrom is only 2 square meters!! The apartment was not really clean.
For check in and check out we had to wait 1 hour each time before the person in charge of that came to the apartment.

Dirty, not possible to sleep in the bed, old, noisy, 10 minutes in shower before hot water, very dirty furnitures, smelly, slow wifi if you were lucky to get Into Internet at all....We would not recomend anyone to stay here. We used hotwire.com and were promised a 4+ Hotel. This was not even close to a 2 star. We stayed in the 3rd floor apartment 2.

I don't normally write internet reviews, however I have to warn anyone that thinks about staying in these apartments DO NOT GO HERE. We were in a third floor apartment. It was dirty, smelly and in no way at all modern. The description on the website and the pictures bear no relation to what we found - it is outrageous that these pictures are on the internet purporting to represent these apartments. The kitchen was dirty, the gas boiler didn't look like it had been serviced for years the shower curtain was filthy, the sofa and chair were stained, the walls are in desperate need of cleaning/re painting. The TV didn't work, there was no balcony, the kettle and cooker was so dirty I couldn't have used it. There was no soap in the bathrooms and one toilet roll left per loo so we had to go out and buy our own. There is no reception, you have to get the keys from another location which is 20 minutes walk away for a fit adult not carrying any bags - this isn't mentioned on the website. The noise from the other flat occupants was bad each night but there was no no-one there to deal with it. It was classified as a 2 out of 3 star apartment on the website that we booked it on and we paid Euro 533 for 3 nights - A COMPLETE RIP OFF! Please be warned and do not waste your money as we have done and risk the worse holiday accommodation experience we have had in over 20 years.
