Great for walkers

The Hostel is near Urgell subway, two stations away from Catalunya where you have multiple connections. The Hostel is a hostel, don't expect something fancy. We had a private bathroom which was great. Recommend if your planning to stay and visit intensely the city.

The Hostal Els Angels is on a street very near the Metro line, and so offers easy access to everything in Barcelona including La Ramblas. It is run by the owner Gabriele who is very strict with his after hour noise, and that is very good as it keeps the Hostal quiet at night. The rooms all have a separate either dedicated or shared bathrooms (that are very small, but adequate) in the hall way and a kitchen that can be used. Breakfast in included in the downstairs coffee shop, and it's nice and a complete Continental breakfast. There is also an elevator and Gabriele will email you door codes to gain access before you arrive. Gabriele is very helpful with tourist info, and speaks pretty good English. He was a pleasure to meet, and we'd stay with him again.

Well located, the hostal occupies a floor of an apartment building and was under renovation, which made it a bit messy and noisy. The only area of living is the kitchen and, the smoking area is a tiny balcony with a not very attractive sight - crumbling buildings. By paying a fee, you can have TV and/or air conditioning in the room. All very simple, but with friendly/attentive service and breakfast is good and honest. Anyway, it was a good cost x benefit.

I booked here to stay in June for a couple of nights with my bf. We arranged this through booking.com and paid 163 euros. We were then informed that they could not have us stay and organised alternative accommodation that was further out and cheaper but we were expected to pay the same price. Months after informing them we were not happy with the alternative accommodation and would like our money back, we are still out of pocket 163 euros. This has been really stressful and it's looking like we will never see that money again. Not worth the stress so avoid.

I booked the Hostel through booking.com. I got a good deal. Booked a triple seater room. There is a common washroom , but easily available. Also there are options for personal rooms. You can add breakfast adding some euros. Rooms were clean. There is a kitchen also available with all utensils. You could something if needed. It's close to metro station and also close to city center catalunya.

Els Angel's is in absolute one of the best HOSTAL in the center of Barcelona. Why? As the check in organización is absolutely fantastic, easy, safe, etc. There is a really bad review talking about that the HOSTAL stollen money caused from late check in. At the start we were scarred but the price was so interesting then we talked with booking and we have full explication. Then we booked and after few days we receive an email from the HOSTAL. 2 email with full información how organise check in and other with the best public transport to arrive. When you arrive at the HOSTAL you find one panel control to insert the pin then you go up stairs and you find second panel with other codes. Inside you find full of explicación. OF course is important to send copy of an document: in this way is guaranteed the security of hostel and of the guest. We spend 40 euro night double room with external private bath. Heating, hot water for 6 night any problem. We used the kitchen fantastic and exactly like the picture. THE BREAKFAST was super: Caffè milk fresh hot croissant toast marmalade butter cereal....what ask more for 20 euros in private room private bath center barcelona? Andcthecwigi is super too. DEAR nonotesevi, we remember you and off course thanks a lot for you review and for what you have wroten. It si really important for us. Yes we had some problem with some guest that make a booking knowing that the arrive late in the night, but they don't want respect the agrement publicated in expedia booking etc, how to organize the Automatic Check in express. We really don't understand why there is some guest that does not ready well what they book. Furthermore, now is really apreciated the Automatic Check in and the Check in express and check in online: every one can ready this informacion in the best hotels publicacion. But off course, any hotel have to be sure to send the pin codes at the right person: and it is obligatory for low to registre the guest in the list of the police; furthermore the Hotel insurance to give the right assistance just in case, off course is necesary to registre the guest Anyway thanks for your review and thaks to give more info at all guest FOR EVERY GUEST THAT WANT RESERVE WITH US: hostal els angels is really nice and the best price in the center of barcelona. Only room private and with private bath. we are the low category but for sure we give a lot of more then our category. to have good price and good value for the money, we prefer spend money in kitchen breakfast, clean, morning afternnon receptions, but off course we have to safe money in other point. Where? in the night receptions. But Els angels has a panell control for automatic entry, video survery every where in the hostal share area, security fire, 3 mobil phone number dedicate for emergency. Big insurance, other insurance for the guest that using any bicicle have an incident.....WHAT MORE FROM HOSTEL 1 STAR IN THE CENTER OF BARCELONA?

I booked for 3 nights in November on hotels.com specifically because I was arriving late and they had late check in times. Turns out they changed this but we weren't informed and so hotel asked to send a scan of our passports prior to check in to get the pin codes to gain entry. Clearly for data security we didn't want to do this, and then received a number of aggressive emails from the hotel about this. Spoke to hotels.com who confirmed we could check in and then provide passports the next day. This was the day before arriving so we left assuming all was ok. On arrival received email from hotel saying our booking was cancelled. 56 emails later to hotel and hotels.com no refund forthcoming. I strongly urge you to reconsider booking here. Once our hotel was cancelled we thankfully was able to book a different hotel which was cheaper and much better. I have no doubt based on my experience to date that the hotel will write something detrimental in response to my review, but please feel free to message me and I will send you the full email chain of what you are getting into.

Dear custumers, the only aggressive, rude, threatening email received from your email. And you are li luke really luke that in this media is not possible to show this date for privacy low. About to ask the scaner of ID document is permited from the low as you are entring in the hostal, out of the reception time and this date is pubblicated in expedia hotels.com booking etc. But you transformed a normal email conversacion in an unpolide and angry conversacion. One point more: you called in the morning at the receptionist that you was arriving in our hostel, then off course we did not cancel the booking....but you never arrived....of course you don have any right to be remborsed Next time we sugest you to have a good behavior and every things will go in right way. But off course if have a bed treat and you dont respect my working personal, of course you will receive the same have good time

Clean hostel, the recepcionist was really friendly trying to help us with everything we needed, the room is quite big and the bathroom is quite good as well. Very good for the price. The place the hostal is located is really good, you can go walking to many places.

Extremely friendly staff, always eager to help. Very, very close to the metro station (about 20 meters only!) Central location, very close to shops, supermarkets and cafeterias-restaurants. Did have a shared kitchen and a roomy private bathroom. On the down side, the WiFi signal was very poor, and did not cover the whole room. The kichen could be more equipped.

Fraud! Be aware that this is very small hostel (not a hotel) and the toilets are not in the room (not clean either). The management is bad and does not care about guests or their own reputation. Most reviews online are paid in order to keep getting more victims to be taken advantage of!

Hello, there are airbus from airport to Hostal, the stop station's name is Urgell. For your departure is really early, is not possible the airbus and I recommended the taxi, I'll call one for you, if you want when you arrive.
