My wife and I wanted to stay in Barcelona to see in the new year and could not have chosen a better base. Hotel Actual is a wonderful little hotel in a fantastic location with some of the main attractions within a15 minute walk. The hotel is well kitted out with all mod cons. The rooms are on the snug side but comfy, warm and spotlessly clean. From arrival to departure, all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and fresh and tea and freshly brewed coffee and biscuits are available from 1400 - 2200 hours on the first floor. This is a nice touch and one that many of the larger chains could learn from. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hotel Actual and will definitely stay here ourselves when we return to Barcelona. Thank you to all at the hotel for making our stay so pleasurable.

If you are seeking a convenient location with great amenities, this establishment is an ideal choice for your stay. During our recent family visit, we had a very enjoyable experience at Hotel Actual. Its proximity to shopping centers and restaurants made it incredibly convenient for us to explore the area on foot. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean, and the staff, particularly the front desk personnel, were exceptionally courteous and friendly. The hotel's location, just around the corner from the main street, provided a peaceful ambiance while still being close to various attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will undoubtedly return in the future.

Nice mid priced hotel. Very helpful front desk staff. Beds were good and bathroom very adequate. Only Spanish TV stations were accessible on the TV. All the international channels said, "no signal." TV remote is very basic and provides no options besides changing channels and volume. Clean. Good wifi.

We arrived to our room, exhausted and ready to gather ourselves. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a distracted and inattentive host. The amount of information offered initially about our stay was lacking. I had to pull basic things out of them like access to the WiFi, location of breakfast, and time of checkout. When we arrived at our room (1st floor past the elevators) we were surprised at how dirty the room was. There was hair on the sheets, dirty towels in the bathroom, and woman sanitary items in the trash. We promptly went back to the front desk to asked for another room. They could not accommodate our request. They did come by and agreed the room needed cleaning. The first impression given has been tough to overcome. The WiFi is spotty, or non existent.

We truly appreciate the location of the hotel. It is situated conveniently just around the corner from the main shopping street. We were very pleased with our two rooms, as they provided ample space for our stay. The only amenity we missed was an iron, but apart from that, everything was satisfactory. The staff members were friendly and professional, particularly Dani, who stood out for their exceptional service. We would happily choose to stay here again during our future visits.

We would stay at a different hotel if we ever visited Barca again.
Very squashed room, no room for wheelchair and no seat in bathroom for our daughter who is in a wheelchair.
The hotel is quite a distance from “things” but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. We ended up cutting our losses and checking out early and stayed in a hotel closer to the airport.

Great location at the Diagonal metro stop. The room was small, but perfect for a solo traveler. I was on the 6th floor with small R& J balcony to enjoy the views. Rooms were modern. I arrived in the evening and was excited ti wake and see Casa Mila on the same block. Staff was inattentive, quick to dismiss, unfriendly. This was a perfect location.

I stayed there for 2 nights during a business trip. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was lovely. The tv had CNN and the WiFi was good. The location was amazing. It was in the middle of an upscale area with shops and restaurants everywhere. Breakfast was limited but the coffee and OJ were both fresh and good. A nice, practical option if you’re in Barcelona.

Hotel in a great location. Beds are comfortable and plenty extra bedding and pillows if required. Our room was quite small on the first floor but it was ideal for our 2 night stay as we were out all day. Lovely big bathroom and powerful shower. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Lovely smell in the hotel, unsure if it was flowers or diffusers but it was gorgeous. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family

We had a room on the 1st floor overlooking the Swimming pool . Fantastic position, with stunning views and a balcony .
Hi it isnt 7am.... very odd. I cant remember what time I checked out but I think it might have been 10am. However they did allow for me to leave my bag with them until later in the day so I could venture about Barcelona without luggage. Super kind and friendly reception staff.
Not sure where the cruise terminal is, but taxis are available.
Sorry but is don’t know the distance to the cruise port. I would suggest downloading the “mytaxi” app. It is very easy to use, less expensive than the normal taxi, and they normally arrive within minutes. The app will show you how many minutes until arrival. Good luck
