I stayed in this hotel when it was difficult to find a room in the city (there was a big convention and the prices were very high) this was the closet location to the event venue I needed to go to (World Trade Center)
It is a good location, right on the ramblas, very central and I was impressed with the insulation as you couldnt hear the noise from the street. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, aircon worked well and was not noisy and staff were friendly.
But its not a 4 star level, the furniture is very basic, no draws or proper cupboard to hang clothe, the small cupboard where the safe was broke when I opened it and screws came out. The duvet cover was ripped at the top corner, there was mould on the silicon joint in the shower and the chair was a cheap see-through plastic one (same in the restaurant, looked very cheap) I also found a random paintbrush on the floor. One of my colleague had a broken toilet (flush didn't work) and the only iron board they could provide her with was very small.
The restaurant is in the basement and smelt of drains, not the most pleasant atmosphere, the breakfast selection was nice but on the small side, do not expect a full hot breakfast, but there were lots of breads, pastries, cold meat and fresh fruit.
It just isn't the quality you expect for a 4 start, but I have stayed in the 5 star eurostar marina, and it was the same impression, it doesn't feel 5 star, maybe this chain of hotel is cutting corners. If I had spent my own money, I would have been disappointed, this felt like a slightly upgraded ibis hotel.

This was a very good hotel. The location was perfect, close to the market and lots of shops.
At the hotel we crossed the street and ate at local vendors. For lunch and dinner. The food was good and the service was also fantastic.
It cost us $40E for cab fare from the airport to the hotel. We had a party of six and was delighted with the price. It was also easy to catch a cab to the cruise port which cost $28E only four this time but very inexpensive.
We ate breakfast at the hotel but if time allows have breakfast at the market. We definitely will stay there again.

Behind Gothic Quarter, the hotel is about 2-3 min walk to Drassanes metro station which directly connects to Passeig de Gràcia, the shopping street. The room is spacious, unfortunately we had a noisy neighbor talking loudly every night. Staff are helpful in resolving the noise issue and also fixed the broken wardrobe when we first checked in.

I bought a travel package through Fleetway for our two days stopped while visiting Barcelona. I actually paid a little bit more to upgrade our hotel to this one. I was expecting a pretty nice hotel and when we got there it’s very tiny. You have to look hard for the hotel or you might miss it. There is just one small door off the main street so the hotel is easily missed. I was disappointed in how small the room was even though the bed was big there were rips on the sheets and everything did not look clean. Also, the bed was pretty hard and uncomfortable.

I hear the bathrooms in Europe are small so compared to most I guess the bathroom was a bigger size. One of my biggest problems was at night you could hear all the noise outside ALL night long. Even though this hotel is in a good location to walk, it’s located at the end of La Ramblas Street which is a little sketchy and definitely felt unsafe.

The breakfast buffet wasn’t that great. It’s a small room on the lower level of the hotel and felt a lot like a room with some food in it. The food looked like it had been sitting out a while and I went downstairs early in the morning. I saw bugs on some of the food and that was enough to lose my appetite. I wasn’t impressed.

I wasn’t sure if most hotels were like this in Spain but after venturing in the city I was happy to see there are a lot of nicer hotels. Since I don’t know what our travel company paid for the room I can only guess it was on the cheaper end. If I was back in Spain I would not stay here again.

I am very surprised this place has a 4 star rating. I stayed here for two nights in Barcelona and it was some of the worst service I ever received. All the women were very nice at the front desk but there was a man at the front desk who was extremely rude when I was checking out- for no apparent reason.

The furniture is very cheap. Like 10$ plastic chair and a clothes rack - NO closet or safe. It felt a little seedy, and for a price that shouldn't make it seedy. Also, Just didn't feel extremely clean either. Shower door was broken, wouldn't close. But the biggest thing that bothered me was that there is NO hospitality. It's a very "do it yourself" kind of attitude.. no one to help with bags, no one to help you get a taxi, don't even bother asking for extra towels, just expect to do everything yourself.. for this service I would have rather stayed at an AirBnB.

The breakfast is really sup par and you eat it in the basement which felt like prison.

They have a great location and could have a fantastic hotel if they just put some more effort into investing in nicer furniture, stop cutting corners, and actually be hospitable.

The hotel was horrible the staff were so rude and unfriendly especially the lady at the noon shift, she was so rude when we asked to change the room because the bed was broken she told us that this was the only available room!! And we just have to sleep on the broken bed!!!! house keeping is bad not clean, very noisy hotel don’t deserve to be a 4 star hotel!!!! It’s worth only 2 stars. No water cattle no coffee machine no clothing iron. Wouldn’t recommend it to anybody and definitely WILL NOT COME BACK.

Excellent location and really friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was clean and room fine for the length of time of stay and for what was needed. Breakfast was included in the rate we paid, however we would look to go to the fabulous market close by if we stayed again. The breakfast choice was limited. More fresh fruit and better quality of fruit juice needed. The hotel door which could only be entered by room card was a plus especially from a security point of view.
We would stay again

I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. the staff was really helpfull they made an early check in for me and helped me to find a taxi to the airport. the location of the hotel is perfect on the ramblas street so close to the port and to drassanes metro station.
The negatives are;
- The room is so small
- Breakfast is limited with no variety

Very nice hotel. The room was clean, tidy and spacious. It had a fridge, safe and plenty of sockets.

Wide variety for breakfast. Meats, cheeses, breads/cakes, fruit, coffee and juice.

Location was great. Bottom of Ramblas, 2 minutes from a metro station, 10 minutes to the beech one way, 10 minutes the other into city centre.

I’d definitely stay here again if I’m ever in Barcelona again.

Visited in the best of January; the os located on the famous RAMBLA st. At the beginning of the street, 3 minutes walking distance from Barcelona's beachfront. The hotel is clean, nice personnel in the front desk, ask them how to get around and they will gladly assist.
One bad thing is that they are not willing to do late check out- even if you offer them 50euro for another one hour...
To summarize;
Decent hotel-Worth 83euro per night.

The regular double rooms faces the Irish bar and a wall basically, that’s what we stayed in. The city view will show a view of the Main street of las Ramblas (the restaurants etc) so I think it depends on how much time you would be spending in the room and the cost as to whether it would be worth it.
