Casa Margô garners high marks for its central location, with guests often mentioning the convenience of being a stone's throw away from beaches, restaurants, and cultural hotspots. The hotel's cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere are consistently praised, as is the staff's commendable service—guests feel well taken care of during their stay.
Although the rooms are celebrated for their cleanliness and comfort, a few concerns have been raised about maintenance. Amenities like the pool and thoughtful extras are a hit, yet some guests feel the pricing could better reflect the value offered.

We loved Casa Margô. We were delighted to be given a free upgrade to a larger apartment which had a very high standard of cleanliness, comfort and style. The kitchen is very well equipped and we loved the little extras like oranges, honey, jam and coffee. The shower is fantastic and one of the best ever! Magdalena was a great host and very helpful. Also the apartment is in a very central location but very quiet. We can't wait to return!

What a lovely little place Casa Margo is! Perfectly situated in the old walled town, right in the middle of all the bars, restaurants, shops etc. Rooms are very clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. There are thoughful extra touches like beach towels, parasols, games etc. Staff are amazing - friendly and very helpful. There is free parking 3min walk away or paid parking in a covered, secure garage approx 6min walk away. We loved our stay at Casa Margo and would not hesitate to return.

Extremely clean, very contemporary, beautifully furnished, right in the centre of the old town. Margo reception where very attentive and we were able to check out at 12 rather than 11am which was very helpful. The only negative was that you were able to hear your neighbours stomping across their floor and it was noisey when people came in from the restaurants and bars. The triple glazing 9nto the square cancelled out any noise from passing people.

We stayed for 5 nights, but found that the price we paid does not match the service and quality we received. We had a shower with a broken seal which meant that every single time we took a shower, our bathroom would flood even with lots of towels down. It would also flood into the hallway and bedroom unless lots and lots of towels were laid down. We made reception aware on the first day, but nothing done apart from extra towels and we were offered a mop and bucket. Not something you expect to be doing on vacation when paying £1200+. We were also told that housekeepers would attend every day except for Sundays - we arrived back to our room on a Thursday evening to find that no housekeepers had attended our room. On a positive note, the property is clean and is in a very good location. Overall, our stay was not worth the money that we paid.

We had a very pleasant stay at Casa Margo. Our room was very clean and the bathroom shower was very nice. Magda Silva, our host, provided us with great restaurant recommendations in the town; every restaurant that we went to that she recommended was a hit! Casa Margo is in a wonderful location within Lagos, and it was a fairly easy walk to the public parking lot.

We had a fantastic time at Casa Margo and are so glad we picked this hotel. All the facilities were amazing. Our room was stunning and had everything we needed.
The location of Casa Margo is just fantastic and a short walking distance to any restaurant you may want to visit (honestly 1 or 2 minutes!!!) Lagos is such a beautiful place and Casa Margo was an excellent hotel in-between everything we wanted to see.
We also visited the salty lodge on a couple of occasions and sat on the rooftop with some breakfast or a drink. The views are truly stunning and I would recommend going atleast once.
Magda and team were very helpful and gave us a map with recommendations for dinner and breakfast. We honestly didn’t have a bad meal in Lagos, I think wherever you would go would be fantastic. Although I would note some restaurants have long waits!
We had a fantastic holiday and would say anyone thinking of staying here to just book it up, you will not regret it. We have already decided we will visit the Algarve again at some point in the future!
Thank you all for being so kind, friendly and helpful through out our whole stay. Jasmin and Lee x

Welcome to your dreamy home away from home. Front entry is pretty unassuming, but enter the courtyard for creamy white mediterranean vacation vibes, all day long.
Pool and lounging chairs area up front, reception is bright and warm, staff is so welcoming and helpful, they booked a few tours for us during our stay. And always made sure we had everything we needed!!
Our room was just as bright and welcoming as every other part of the hotel, diffusers in the stairwell even make your walk down and up more pleasant
Bedrooms are cozy, bedding is soft, rain shower was a nice way to wash off the beach, fully stocked kitchen, big fridge and nice espresso maker with plenty of pods.
Walk out the back of the hotel down a historic and beautiful wood staircase to a courtyard moment! You are instantly transported to what feels like another place entirely. Properly has been totally renovated with all your modern amenities but the heart and soul of this place is left in tact thanks to the thoughtful design elements which were left in place. Church bells could be heard from our room as could the leaves blowing in the wind from the courtyard trees - if you leave the windows open that is. 8 min walk to the beach, location is right in town, close to food and shops.
Also - perk alert, you are able to use Casa Margo’s sister hotel - the Salty Lodge’s, rooftop terrace. We caught sunrise one morning and enjoyed drinks another evening from up top. Highly recommend making a trip over (5 min walk)
Best stay of our whole 3 week trip. I was ready to move in by the end. Thank you again for such a warm welcome and peaceful stay 💕

Casa margo is situated in a beautiful part of Lagos, right in the city center and within walking distance of everything you need! Very nice staff and amazing rooms that are simply lovely and very clean! If you need anything, like surf lessons or a transfer than the receptionists are there to help and they did a very good job every time we asked them to arrange something for us. I would highly recommend casa margo to everyone that is visiting Lagos and I hope I can come back many times myself, 10/10 experience.

"The apartments facing the square are larger than those facing the pool, but there may be noise from the square. First floor apartments have a better view of the square."
