Simple, modern, two-star hotel in a residential area well connected to the main tourist attractions. Tiny, spotless rooms with all basic amenities, good continental breakfast (served in a tiny breakfast room), welcoming and friendly staff. Not trendy, not fancy, not instagrammable, but ideal to visit the city without spending a fortune.

Stayed there for a very short while in September 2004 and must say it's GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY. My single room was very well maintained and rather spacious - at least in comparison to other single european rooms in hotels of the same standard. I'd recommend it to anyone, but not to single women, coz it's only about 2-3 blocks away from the prostitutes area. As a single woman I had to navigate there very carefully in the evenings.

As above this is a cheap hotel but was clean and the staff friendly. Do not waste money paying for breakfast as all you get is a few croissants for 5 quid. Good location not far from Para-lel metro station and near the harbour.

Neighbourhoods not very clean or nice. Poorly soundproofed rooms, toilet flashing with extremely disturbing noise. No cleaning one day. Key card deactivated repeatedly. Beds narrow and uncomfortable without top bed mattress. No tea or coffee boiler. Small TV with no international channels. Small Price set too high for the standard. Small single room with interior view towards an ugly backyard buildings.

The next Subway station is just around the corner. Bars, restaurants are also near by. The single room is really tiny but it covers all the basic needs. The bathroom is clean, equiped with a hair dryer. A very good hotel for a very reasonable price.
The walls are very thin though :)
Would definitely visit again.

Great hotel. Good location, it is located at 5 min from Paral-lel metro station. Vis a vis there is also a supermarket from where you can buy what you want. The room was cleaned every day and the towels were changed each day.
You can also find restaurants located near the hotel.
We enjoyed staying at this hotel.

I paid £150 per night for my 5 night stay in a single room.Ok so first the good: the room was clean and the shower room was decent. That’s all the good I can say. This room was one of the more depressing I’ve stayed in. A small window lets in little light from the central building well. The room reminds me of a dark prison cell. There was not even a bottle of water in the room. It has the basics and that’s all. Not somewhere you’d want to spend too much time in.
I complained about the WiFi as it is about 2 megabytes, shamefully low for a hotel, but all I received from the receptionists were shrugs.
There is a large notice on reception stating no guests to be brought to the hotel. Am I in a college dorm or a hotel?
All in all not recommended.

Air con didn’t work properly so it was very hot. Spoke to reception as I asked for a tan. He said he’d phone my room at 11pm. 11.17pm and still nothing so just tried to sleep.
Heard everyone else on the floor going in and out of their rooms. Furniture being dragged till around 3am. An alarm went off for several minutes at around 1.30am.
After a couple of hours kip, got up and wondered round Barcelona.
Not a very nice spot but close to the centre.
Will not stay again.

During my stay in this hotel I've been stolen the money from my hotel room. The money was in a wallet in a suitcase which was locked. There were no mass , everything looked ok so it might be hotel cleaning staff . There were no reaction, no help from the hotel managment , I had to go to the police by myself. In the police station I was told I wasn't the first time in this hotel .

Had to stay there for a whole week and it was horrible. The rooms are tiny, and when I say tiny I mean that there is only a small bed, a small desk and a tiny wardrope with no drawers. The bathroom is supertiny. You have to clse the door to be able to sit on the toilet.
The people at the desk hardly ever look at you.
The room was really noisy and you could hear your neighbours conversations. It is too expensive to what they offer. It is not worthy to pay for breakfast. It is expensive and you get very litle.
If you want to enjoy Barcelona, stay somewhere else.
