Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The location is excellent, near a metro station but also near the famous streets. You can walk around or just take the metro anywhere. The staff was nice. The triple room was a bit small for 3 adults but it works if the third person is a child. Overall it had all we needed. The internet was poor in the room. The breakfast was of nice quality, with the typical hotel breakfast. It had gluten-free snacks and lactose-free milk. There is a 24h small supermarket to get anything you need. The street was mostly quiet and the windows are double so the noise from the streets is zero. But there is a bit of noise from the hallways. The price was super nice for the location and the time of the year. I reserved in advance directly with Catalonia. I enjoyed the reward system with some great benefits.

We had a satisfying stay at Catalonia Gracia. It's in a good location away from the tourist areas but close enough to get into the centre of town (you can walk to La Rambla and Sagrada Familia). The nearest metros are Diagonal and Verdaguer. Rooms facing inwards to the residential courtyard are quieter than those facing the street. Our room (404) was small but had all you'd need for a short stay in the city. The air conditioning worked well to keep us cool in the summer heat. Breakfast was a little pricey at 14 euros per person but was plentiful. We only had breakfast once and ate at local cafes after that. There is a small pool on the roof with good views over Barcelona.

A great location, great service, it was a very nice stay. Personnel was very helpful. All was in order and tidy, clean. Wifi was ok, a little bit of corridor noise came thru the closed door. The location for trips in the city on foot was great, easy to reach places.

Great value for the price. The location is perfect (close to Gracia, close to Psg d Gracia too) Beds are very comfortable, room was spacious. Staff very nice too. Only the water was running out of bathtub bit slowly but you can live with that:)

We really enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We were dealing with some lost luggage; the staff helped us with hone call and kept an eye out of the luggage.

The room we rented is right next to a building undergoing renovation with extremely loud banging on the walls from very early morning and going on late into the evening. The hotel should not have rented this room out. We were not warned, not offered any ear plugs, a change of room or any compensation. The hotel simply claimed its not their responsibility.
The bathroom also had a strange smell and although the plug was changed on the bath it still began to drain out water before you were ready.
Do not use this hotel the management do not care about its guests

Hotel location wise, it is walkable to bars but it’s possibly not the most tourist but that you’d expect. It’s really easy to flag a taxi outside if you do want to go to the main parts. I was a bit disappointed at how far away it was from where I did want to be. I also would not get my hopes up about the pool! It js minut like a bath! The hotel it’s self is very clean and the bed is super comfy! The staff are nice and friendly. I don’t think I’d stay here again just for the fact it’s not in the location I’d have preferred.

AC went off every night around 03.30. The 3rd bed in the room had very pointy corners and I scratched / injured my leg all the time. Soap was empty and did not get filled. Room had 4 charger spots, but just 1 in the beds area which was used by my partner for his sleep-apnea device. Toilet in the room did not have a toilet brush. Minibar did not cool. Not enough clothing hangers.

Loved the 8th floor terrace room.. I would stay there again and nice to have the pool next door. The staff were very friendly and we spent an evening in the small bar area where we had a few drinks before heading out, which was nice. Breakfast was good but there was not much left in the hot food area and the staff didn't realy pay any attention to that as they seemed to want you out as quick as possible. Other than that we had a lovely stay and I would go back there again. The plunge pool and sitting area on the roof top was very nice too.

Stayed here for 3 nights hotel is lovely clean decent price would recommend staying here. Only issue we had were the beds not very comfortable they were to hard for me. The airport was literally 20 mins away. Loads of bars restaurants and coffee shops near by. The views from roof top were so pretty at night. Would be nice if there was some sort of heating up there for the chilly winter evenings and if the pool was heated I would defo gone for a dip.

There is no coffee and tea facility in the lobby (that I saw anyway) and none in the rooms either. However, there is a good coffee shop less than 2 minutes walk from the hotel's front door. Turn left when you walk out of the hotel and you'll see it...and they open at 6am!
There are more places to choose from in the Barcelona area.
