Not an apartment. Not a good room for this price. The pictures are inaccurate. I've attached a picture of what the room really looks like. Portable airconditioning is on a chair and exhaust pipe is duct taped to the window. Blinds can only close halfway and they're translucent. Noisy neighbours (it's in a residential building). Sheets smell strongly of washing detergent. Bathroom was alright though that's probably the only saving grace.

Our stay at this location was great. Jinky provided exceptional customer service. Although the room and bathroom were dated the beds were very comfortable, the view was nice and breakfast was hot and plentiful. If we get back to Barcelona again we will stay there again. I would recommend this location to any one who is looking for a affordable place in town. Tell Jinky that Audrey, Shawn and Stacey sent you, she will take great care of you.

I’ve just returned from a lovely 4 day break in Barcelona. The location is great and the at home facilities which included use of kitchen and the lovely living room was a bonus. It really felt like home away from home. Diego was lovely and VERY accommodating, he definitely made the stay more enjoyable and was always at hand to offer advise on where to go and how to go about it. My room was modern and comfortable, my only regret was that it didn’t look on to the streets it backed onto other apartments and which had large pipes and you could hear water going through it at random times of the day. This did in no part have any impact on my stay, the hotel was a comfortable resting place for me to explore the beautiful city.

First, this is not a hotel. They are a bunch of rooms together. Very noisy and impossible to sleep in here. Old croissant, one single table for all guest, not clean towels, the lady in charged was very rude, there’s no front desk (bc it’s not a hotel), it’s hard to check in because there are no signs from the street. I can go on and on. Most horrible place I’ve ever stayed at.

I stayed here with my girlfriend in the dates 10-12/07/2014
This is a big apartment that is divided to 6-7 rooms. The place is run by a bunch of foreign people that LIVE there. Not all the rooms have air condition. I got a room with a portable AC that is very noisy so I asked to change a room. Both of the rooms we got were small and not so clean. there are broken tiles in the bathroom and broken hangers for the towels.
The breakfast is lousy. We got croissants wrapped individually, orange juice, milk and some ham and cheese. It was very disappointing. No eggs or nothing like that. Nothing was cooked, everything looked like it was bought from the store down the street and even if they would have cooked eggs or something I wouldn't eat it there because the kitchen was filthy.
One of the nights we heard noise form the living room, when I looked I saw that the foreign people who run the place invited their friends (about 12 people) and they ate in the living room and celebrated a birthday for one of them. They made a lot of noise. It was very scary.

The stay was horrible. I booked a room for two people and was given a one person room for sure. The room has a window but looks on to the sewage system so is dark all day and night. The fact that their is no air condition makes it hard to believe that someone would stay there in summer as I had to keep the door open to be able to have a drift. The room has none of the furniture in the picture, very misleading and they have been airbrushed to give that effect. The bathroom is old and has no shampoo or soap...you need to pay extra for that if you want it. The breakfast is of poor quality and the noise level in the house at night is very high simply because if people coming back late or travelling early on so you hear bags, chatter and noise all through the night. You also hear the neighbours flushing their toilet all through the night or having showers early in the morning. The only good thing about the hotel is Jinky who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable through her limited resources. Beyond disappointing stay and would never recommend AinB and B to anyone as you mislead people with the pictures or maybe the apartment was like that but the owner has simply not been there to visit in a long time.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate your observation and try to better the aspects you are mentioning. Our B&B is comprised of different rooms, each with its own style, that’s why you noted a difference between the photos and your room. We are working on redesigning the whole place and we’ll publish new photos within the following months. It is true that one of the rooms has interior views, overlooking a patio, but not a sewage system. It is not as bright as an exterior room, but there is light coming in during the day, although not as intense as if it were direct sunlight. Installing air conditioning in all the rooms is our top priority for this autumn. Your comment about the bathroom is a bit strange, given that all the rooms have private bathrooms that were built few years ago. Also, it is important to note that we do not charge extra for the soap and shampoo, we simply do not provide them. Nevertheless, we will consider your observation for the future and include bathroom amenities. We deeply regret your stay was not as you expected and we hope we will be given a second chance to make up for it. Jinky really is a great host and she was very happy to know you mentioned her name. The apartments are very nice and there is a wonderful living room. The kitchen can be used by everybody and there was always something in the fridge to eat or drink even after the breakfast.
The host Diego was absolutely lovely and I would definitely book this place again and can recommend it.

If you want a basic place close to everything, this is it! Diego makes it! We travel a lot and this is what we expect when looking for affordable, convenient basic accommodation. Within walking distance to La Rambles, tour buses, restaurants and Metro stops this place really fills the bill. If you want a Holiday Inn, don't go. If you are a seasoned traveler and like the 'local color' is is a great find.

i was really disappointed when the travel agency booked for us in this facility and we didn't pay little money..we could have stayed in a REAL hotel with almost the same amount of money...breakfast is only served at 9 am..and when he had to leave earlier one day we could not have breakfast..breakfast is a cup of milk,scrambled egg and ham..no vegetables or fruits..the room is small and not comfortable

Despite the name "Apartment in Barcelona" this is not an appartment. It is an unserviced hotel room with access to a shared kitchen. There is no privacy as the woman who runs the place is constantly doing laundy/ironing in the common area and/or talking loudly to her family/friends who frequent the place on evenings and weekends. Some rooms are pleasant but most have noisy portable airconditioners. Top location but overall but I don't support dishonest marketing.
