Clean and quiet, efficient staff, good parking and location near the park is great.

A bit frustrating during COVID. The price is very high so you would expect services, but they are using cover to avoid breakfast, housekeeping and even replacing items. It's explained that you you can get fresh towels or other by bagging up towels and leaving them outside the room door or going to the front desk. But when I went to the front desk the person argued with me. First, I was told no, not from the desk. Then, when pressed, she said "I can give you one". When I said we needed 2 and 2 wash cloths, she finally came back with 2 towels and that's what you get. Like I was putting her out...at over $200 a night!

Breakfast is hilarious. They say "just coffee" because they can't get the quality supply. Hahahahah. It's packaged tiny cups of fruit and those little boxes of cereal. They ran out of milk for 2 days so it was only phony creamer. We bought some at Safeway.

Would considering the alternatives.

Only spent a couple of nights but really enjoyed or stay during this pandemic. Had a great large patio room with a very comfy king size bed and seating area. Enjoyed the outdoor relatively private seating. Room was clean, bath area had two sinks and the usual tub/shower and a comfortable taller elongated toilet (no knees in my chin sittin on the floor feeling). Do wish places would switch to walk-in showers though (are you listening), how many times have you sat in a shallow tub and enjoyed it while on a trip, give me a walk-in shower any day. Only problem we had was that the remote for the TV was missing, but they brought us one in a matter of minutes, and the WiFi was weak.

We stayed here while visiting Olympic National Park for three nights. Due to COVID 19 some of the amenities were not available such as the pool, and restaurant. They also do not clean your room during your stay, refresh your towels, empty trashes, pickup dirty linens, etc. While I understand the reason for the changes, it would have been nice to be informed either by email before stay or during the checkin process. If you didn’t ask, they would not tell you. Since the situation can change and is very fluid, a letter asking guests to read at checkin or left in rooms to read would probably be easiest for staff. We were not upset by the changes just wanted to understand and be better prepared during our stay. We had too many wet towels due to the floor getting wet while showering and they were piling up on floor. We had to request for towels and eventually ask what to do with all the wet towels. Our trash cans were full and had to empty them in hallway trash cans which were also not changed very often. Perhaps a laundry cart placed in hallways during the morning and a trash can to empty trash would resolve this problem. Along with informing guests in a letter how to accommodate this minor housekeeping issue would help tremendously. Otherwise the hotel was clean and comfortable upon arrival, and we would use this hotel again in the future.

Dear OR623, Thank you very much for taking the time to right your review, we greatly appreciate it. As you mentioned, many of our standard amenities are not available at this time so that we can ensure both guest and staff safety. In addition to the closure of these amenities, our housekeeping policies for stayover service have also changed. I apologize, because these changes should have been explained to you by the front desk at check in. We have begun placing letters explaining the changes in all rooms so that this does not happen again, and in that letter we detail exactly how guests should handle dirty towels or trash. Thank you again for your review, it was very helpful to us.

The Olympic Lodge building is beautiful. From the upper floor, you have views of the Straits of Juan de Fuca and Vancouver Island in the distance, while the back of the building opens onto a beautiful lawn/garden. It is set back from the road and there is little traffic noise. The interior is nicely furnished. However, our room was not particularly clean - spilled food in the a/c vent and controls attracting ants and used coffee in the filter basket. I can only assume that staffing levels are low spoiling what would otherwise have been a luxury hotel stay. I felt bad about spending that much money and having the creepy feeling that in these times of COVID, if they didn't wipe down the a/c controls what else didn't they wipe down?

This place is 4 stars on Booking and 3 star on google. It is 2 star compare to Hilton/Delta/Mariotte. No room mentalities like mini bar, water/snacks or shampoo/conditioner or hair nets.

Super comfortable beds!!! Perfect place to sleep in after long hike and then leave. No cleaning stuff came in during our 2 day stay to refresh supplies for Toilet paper or get new towels or clean room (not sure if it was because Covid restrictions or not as no warning was given to us)

The rooms are overprices for amenities provided.

Dear aesir21, Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review of your stay with us, we greatly appreciate it. I am happy to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed our beds. We pride ourselves on offering comfortable Simmons Beauty Rest pillow-top Mattresses for all of our guests to enjoy. As to your feedback in other areas, please rest assured that we take all responses seriously. It is true that we do not offer any mini-bar amenities (yet!). As to the shampoo/conditioner and lack of stay-over service, this is a change due to COVID-19 that should have been explained at check-in. I do apologize for our failure to communicate these changes to you in the proper fashion. I have discussed your feedback with our Front Desk team to ensure this doesn't happen again. Thank you again for your review, we hope you give us the chance to impress you in the future.

When we opened a sofa bed, the first thing we saw were breadcrumbs. We then looked at the bed itself and found human hair under the blanket. The sheets were dirty and definitely not replaced from the last guests… And later we saw the same color human hair in the bath …
When we complained about this, the sheets were replaced, but it already ruined our stay and having our small kids waiting 40 minutes outside the room watching the personal replacing the sheets only made it worse. No one has never tried to explain how it even happened.
We understand it happens in the hotels, and in many cases, you cannot be sure that the bed sheets are fresh and clean. But we believe the personal is responsible for keeping the rooms save during the covid19 period. What happened is really not acceptable. What’s the point of closing the pool and the breakfast area of you can’t even clean the room properly?
We were going to visit again next year but will never come back.

This was our second stay at the Olympic lodge. It is a comfortable hotel with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and updated rooms. Our room on the first floor had a small outdoor patio as well as a small refrigerator and microwave. The rooms in back have views of the golf course and mountains, the rooms in front have views of the town and water beyond. The spacious lobby is a g rest place to meet and chat with friends.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant and pool / hot tub were closed. The staff all wore masks and there is no cleaning service during your stay, but extra cleaning between guests.

The hotel is centrally located for exploring the north side of the Olympic Peninsula, including Olympic National Park and the Dungeness Spit.

A fabulous hotel just on the edge of Port Angeles! This hotel was so nicely updated and just a quick 2-3 min drive into town and only 5 mins from the Olympic National Park Visitor Center. It made for a great base camp as we explored the area over a long weekend. Expect super updated rooms, comfortable beds, amazing bathrooms and friendly staff. Property is simply gorgeous. Would highly recommend to all friends and family.

My husband and I stayed at the Olympic Lodge for two nights and really enjoyed the experience. The room was large, clean, and comfortable with a king-sized bed, a refrigerator, and a microwave. Our room overlooked a golf course behind the property, which was also very relaxing. The hotel is well situated in town and the staff were friendly -- everyone wore masks indoors and there were notes about social distancing. It felt very safe. Note: There are no housekeeping daily visits due to covid, but the front desk staff provided information about getting replacement towels or having your trash emptied. I also highly recommend ordering takeout breakfast from Joshua's Restaurant in the same parking lot. It was very convenient and delicious.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The hot tub was closed which was a disappointment, due to CoVid. We were told that service would be limited to place towels and garbage out by 11 and new towels would be placed at our door. We stayed for two days. We did not receive towels and had to go the front desk and ask for new ones. Also we ran out of toilet paper in our room because we had very small practical rolls- and had to ask for more TP. Staff at the front desk was rude and acted as if we were asking for too much,

I stayed in Olympic Lodge and it is wonderful. Close to restaurants and other attractions. You can stay here and drive to most National Park Attractions. Stay here several nights and do all the north and west side attractions in the park, like Sol Duc River, Lake Crescent, and Hoh Rain Forest. You can visit spectacular RubyBeach on your way to Lake Quinault Lodge from Port Angeles. Spend a night or two at the lodge on your way back to Seattle.
