The hotel is in excellent condition, beautiful decor and lovely rooms even in our standard classic overlooking the pretty courtyard. The surrounding area is lovely with great cafes, bakeries and restaurants within a short walk. The train station to palace of Versailles is only a 10 minute walk for a direct 30 minute train journey. Eiffel Tower & Notre Dam are a pleasant 30 minute walk away. The staff were excellent and made my wife’s birthday very special. We will certainly stay again on our next trip to Paris.

Each guest arrives with their own expectations of a certain degree of hospitality, a certain degree of quality, and a certain degree of accommodation. On our recent stay at Victoria Palace Hotel our expectations were exceeded in all categories.
First, the easy part. We booked a wheelchair accessible room which overlooked the interior courtyard. The room was spacious by any citified hotel standard and the bathroom enormous. Rainfall shower and stone tile siding adorned the bathroom with large 6 foot hinged windows in both the bedroom and the bath. The lobby and bar exquisitely detailed and charming.
Upon first arriving, my wife and I were uncertain of location relative to everything worth seeing but it all proved walkable. The Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Musee D'Orsay, Notre Dame, the Luxembourg Gardens (particularly close), the Latin Quarter, all proved convenient as we were willing to put a mile or so under our soles.
Victoire and Melodie, staff members extraordinaire recommended Georgette and Le Relais de L'entrecote restaurants all within convenient walking distance. Both were well populated by Parisians and not only tourists.
What stands out by far was the hotel's staff. I use a wheelchair and the accommodation to any necessities was prompt and considerate. When the bed was too low Melodie ordered bed risers. While the entrance lacks a fixed ramp staff members came with the portable ramp promptly on every occasion. Drinks ordered always arrived promptly with a smile. Most wonderfully, the staff had an authenticity about them that rang true beyond mere professionalism.
As for other accessibility features, the roll in shower was superb. The elevator tight but accommodating of a power wheelchair. Access to the patio and all areas of the lobby and bar were excellent. The area was safe at all hours from morning till midnight.
Finally, the staff, particularly Cynthia and her colleague Mallery who covered while Cynthia assisted us on our check out proved extraordinary. When the accessible transport failed to arrive to deliver us to a fast train Cynthia scrambled for no less than 45 minutes on the phone to overcome our need for French translation and as an advocate for our needs. Better still, her efforts succeeded.
The hotel possesses a charm consistent with its boutique status that distinguishes it from any chain and the particular efforts of staff (Melodie and Cynthia specifically) made this stay extraordinary. What the hotel may lack in comparison to a five star hotel is overcome by the intimacy and charm of the renovated facility and the remarkable individuals serving its guests.

We stayed for 6 nights and would stay here again. We stayed in a superior room that faced the interior courtyard so we were shielded from any street noise. The room was spacious and the wardrobes had enough space to accommodate all of our clothes and suitcases. The Nespresso pods and still water were replenished daily. The daily buffet breakfast had a lot of options so I would recommend adding that on to your reservation.
As for the location, there are 2 metro stops within a very short walk and we felt safe walking to and from the hotel in the early morning and late evening. It’s also a short walk to a main street with several good restaurants.
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located hotel in Paris.

We had a very nice stay during a week in late October at the Victoria Palace Hotel. It is conveniently located right near the Saint-Placide metro stop and in a good location to explore many of the major attractions in Paris. The hotel was recently renovated and it shows - everything feels new. We booked a Junior Suite, which was relatively spacious and very comfortable. Neatly hidden TV that rises out of a box at the foot of the bed. The staff was friendly and helpful; they helped us call to cancel a restaurant reservation that we couldn't cancel online. The room was a great value at under 300 euros per night, which was less than many hotels that looked comparable.

Our Travel Agent recommended the Victoria Palace and she was absolutely spot-on. We are a family of three and we had one of the "Family Suites," which really was perfect. It's two rooms connected by a hallway, which is private so you have all that space too. We had rooms 417-418. The rooms looked inward to a rather narrow courtyard, but the rooms were super-quiet as a result. Both rooms had massive amounts of closet space. Our bathroom had a tub/shower and our son's bathroom had a shower. Water pressure was insanely good. Bedding super comfortable but they could have had more pillows instead of just one per person.
Breakfast was a pretty decent continental spread. Lots of pastries, yogurts, fruit salads, different kinds of coffee, plus a hot option of scrambled eggs, bacon sausage. There is no waiter service which we didn't miss. Barman made a great martini!
Would absolutely stay again!

We had an amazing Anniversary trip in Paris and staying here was the BEST decision!! The location was wonderful, a café was directly across the street with great pizza and many within walking distance. As another reviewer mentioned no street noise. I really wanted an amazing view following another tip I booked online and called hotel directly to request the deluxe Rm 610 with king bed. The balcony and views are amazing!! Bed and linens comfortable. Coffee in the room was delicious, mini fridge, Magnifying mirror and hair dryer. Small detail, no wash cloths like in the US so bring your own. Nice size room, plenty of wardrobe space. The service was outstanding..Maxim, Alexi and Oliver were just a few of the top notch staff!! They went out of their way to make us comfortable. They also stored our luggage for us until the room was ready. There was water available in the lobby with plenty of places to relax and a restroom to freshen up. The breakfast every morning had a nice variety. Juices, eggs, pastries, jams,granola, meats, cheeses, yogurt and more!! Oliver,in the bar, would make us drinks and expressos in the afternoon or before dinner every evening. The decor was perfect! I will always have wonderful memories of our week in Paris at VPH!!

The reception staff are both knowledgeable, warm, friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lovely ambiance to it. We had a classic room, which is adequate for 2 people, especially if you are out exploring all day. Well located in this large city with excellent access to Metro lines. ( buy a book of 10 tickets) and regular easy access to and from Airport on Metro line 4 if you swap at Guar de nord I liked the breakfast here, plant based milks, cereals, breads, and of course pastries. selection of fruits, cheeses and cold meats. very small selection of cooked and no egg based menu that I saw (But wouldn't use) if you like poached eggs etc. I don't know if there were gluten free options either. Lovely fresh juices and excellent coffee. Bed linen is a real plus as it is excellent, and good quality toilet tissue and wash etc. Fabulous hot water and great pressure from the shower , thick towels. My downside was that tea bags and coffee pods were not replaced each day by the maid. I am sure however had I asked for more I would have been given them. They leave a bottle of water in your room free to drink and will also fill your own water bottle in the morning from the bar for you to take out and about with you . lovely touches like these make this a hotel I will highly recommend and would return to if we come back to Paris

A Paris hotel that is outstanding in every way. Located on a quiet side street in the 6th Arrondissement, the Victoria Palace Hotel is conveniently close to several subways lines, bus routes, and the train station, making getting around town very quick and easy for the novice or experienced traveller. In one direction you are a few minutes away from Le Bon Marché, in another direction you are a short morning stroll to some of the best bakeries and cafes in Paris. The property was recently renovated and looks even better in person than the pictures suggest - I appreciated the attention to every detail. The well-sized rooms are quiet, and the comfortable beds and bed linens made for a very restful nights sleep. The bathrooms are clean, spacious, and nicely appointed. The closet space was perfection. Last but not least, the Hotel Staff are kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. I could not have asked for a better experience, and I would not consider staying anywhere else. Looking forward to my next visit to Paris and the Victoria Palace Hotel.

We stayed in one of the "family rooms" this summer. It was not what we were expecting.... It's not really a "room but a massive suite!"
The door opens to a long private corridor where you can dump all your suitcases/shoes and has 2 large rooms with private bathrooms leading off it. Perfect for travelling with kids/teens/friends. My kids were beyond excited to see the size and luxury of their room. Important for a Parisian summer is aircon - it worked and was quiet.
The staff were super friendly and more than happy to give recommendations. They gave a great restaurant tip the first night. This is not a big chain type impersonal stay. It's a small and intimate hotel with a cool/ laid back vibe.
The Metro is very close by but we didn't use it because it was so hot. We used taxis which were easy to get. There was little traffic as we were there in August. We found the location convenient and near everything. I really recommend this hotel and would choose it again.

Beautifully appointed, clean and wonderful staff! We stayed as a family with 2 children. The kids had their own room right next to our room. There was another door that closed off our two rooms, and so we felt comfortable having them in their own room. This also allowed us to sleep and to have the extra space.
The rooms are spacious, the towels and linens super comfortable. The rooms had closets and provided thick robes and slippers. The bathrooms were large and great water pressure from showers. We were very comfortable!
Aurore at the concierge desk was amazing and so helpful! She made us reservations at a vegan restaurant that we requested, she booked us a boat cruise on Seine and also printed the tickets for us. She emailed us with all of the information as well. She was wonderfully friendly and helpful!! Thank you Aurore!!!
The hotel also arranged a car service back to the airport and changed the pick up time when our flight was delayed.
The breakfast was superb and we enjoyed eating together each morning. There was something for everyone, including fresh fruits, bread, croissants and mini muffins which our kids really enjoyed. Fresh juice and coffee machine to whip up whatever hot drink you wanted.
Overall, I would only book this hotel on our next trip to Paris. The location was also super convenient to metro and also close to many sights. We loved walking back to hotel after dinner!

During our stay in April, we were offered freshly scrambled eggs, bacon and beans, and there were also hard boiled eggs and other fish, cold cuts and sweets, as well as rolls and breads. Yes, there was a toaster, too!
