    Fantastic experience
Visited the Eiffel Tower on my first day in Paris. We had not prebooked tickets so had to wait in the queue. Although this moved quickly and the team in the ticket booth were friendly and helpful. We went up in the lift to the second floor. The view was incredible. We then walked down to the first floor and sat down and had some drinks. It was pleasant and clean. The structure is beautiful and I can see why so many people are drawn to visit it. Would recommend to anyone visiting Paris.

    Eiffel tower a unique experience
This was a unique one of a kind experiencing the Eiffel tower. It is highly recommended to purchase your entrance way ahead of time to avoid the que. The view from The top is simply breath taking. A visit to the tower at night is highly recommended! word of caution this site is known for pickpockets so keep a close watch on your belongings and dress appropriately to avoid drawing attention and become a victim. All in all a visit worths its while.

    Iconic Landmark
We pre-booked direct on the official site, where prices are much cheaper than the numerous "guided tours" found on the internet. Our queue for the lift to the second floor was shorter and we then joined another queue to reach the summit. All in it took about 45 minutes from our official booking slot to arriving at the summit, but the views were sensational. Our visit was topped off with the champagne flute we had at the summit.

    Bucket List
Everyone says that the Eiffel Tower is over-rated, but I beg to differ. It was beautiful from every angle and even more astonishing when lit up at night! We had the chance to celebrate Bastille Day and watch as fireworks were launched off of the Eiffel itself. Spectacular!

Wonderful but very popular and packed
Beautiful experience once you arrive to the very top of the tower. The only issue was how packed the visit was with other tourists. I would highly suggest buying your tickets prior to your visit, as we had to wait in line 2 hours. Otherwise, this is such a beautiful view of Paris when at the very top. Being there for bastile day and seeing the tower light up was amazing as well.

If you know you're going, Plan Ahead!
I went into it expecting the Eiffel Tower to feel like the Staue of Liberty or the Space Needle, but wow it blew them both away, the view was spectacular. Once you avoid all of the pick-pocket scams outside, it was a great expereience. If you visit in the summer, plan for a long wait, unless you plan ahead. My wife and I wanted to go to the top and found out, you can perpurchase tickets to the top 60 days out. In the summer they go fast so plan for it. We got there a little early but if you get to the pre-queue when your timed ticket is for , its a pretty quick process to get to the elevator. My wife is sometimes uneasy about heights but really wanted to go, and she was not disapointed by the view. We were both so happy that we planned ahead, didn't blow our entire day, and saw the most amazing view of Paris possible.

    Buy tickets ahead
Who can’t go to Paris for the first time and not visit the Eiffel Tower? We bought “skip the line” tickets six weeks before we went and I would highly recommend it. Between two security lines and waiting for two elevators, it still took nearly 45 minutes to reach the top. However we heard from others in our tour group who tried to go without buying ahead of time and the wait was four hours. We actually preferred the view from the second level as opposed to the top because you could see just as much, but clearer, however glad we did the entire thing.

    When in Paris…
We bought our tickets online the day before visiting the Eiffel Tower, this meant it was very easy to arrive, get our tickets checked and then go straight to security. The stairs are an absolute killers, if you are not very fit or struggle with stairs don’t even attempt this. The stairs keep going and going and there’s no place to pause for a rest so you would be better to take the lift. The views are absolutely incredible, better when the weather is sunny but not much we can do about that. Also very windy at the top so even on sunny days take a little jacket. The shop was very nice and had lots of lovely little trinkets.

With a few days to go Trip advisor cancelled our booking with no explanations. We only booked through them as Eiffel Tower website had sold out. We emailed the Eiffel Tower website and they said come early in the morning and we should be able to buy tickets directly. We suggest that you head down to the Eiffel Tower early (we got there at about 9.30) We was able to buy tickets for Level 1 and 2 walking up the stairs. We bought tickets at a much reduced rate than trip advisor. 0 star review for trip advisor 5 star review for Eiffel Tower. You can enter the Eiffel Tower for free (You have to go through a security check) you only pay if you want to go up it. We went back at night time lights come on at dusk and on the hour the lights sparkle for 5 minutes

    That feeling!
When you say Paris, France the number one thing that comes in to mind is the Eiffel Tower (without belittling other famous landmarks within the city). That feeling seeing it that close is so unexplainable, thinking it was there since 1889. So much history has been unfolded since then to now. We wanted to go up, but the queue is too long. Nevertheless we enjoyed the sceneries within the area.

The most iconic building in the world, what more can you say? Doesn't matter if you're viewing it from the base, or from miles away, it is an inspiring sight. Thrilled that I was able to witness it in person with the Olympic rings!

A visit to the Eiffel Tower is always great. I’ve been three times and enjoyed it just as much on my recent visit as I did years ago on my first visit.

The view from the top is worth the admission in my opinion.

Be sure to book well in advance as it gets very crowded. You may end up wasting a lot of time in line if you try to buy tickets onsite.

We were fortunate to obtain two tickets to go the top of the Eifel Tower via the lift/elevator. As expected, the Tower is full of other tourists so expect a lot of activity/crowds. The Tower is well marked in terms of lines. One observation---although the time is staggered for going up to the top floor, we spent over an hour trying to come back down. The line to descend was very very long so if you have other plans, be aware that descending from the top will likely take much much longer than expected. The views were excellent but if you are on a tight schedule, you may want to have an alternative for the top of the tower.

Bought tickets to ascend to the top. Great city views from the top but can be crowded and gets windy and cold depending on the time of year and day you visit. We also viewed the tower from different angles from the city. My favorite place to view the tower at night is at the Trocadero which is close a metro station and restaurants.

Just great, the views are just unreal! Went in July and this meant it was incredibly busy, but it was well managed. We booked our tickets online, this meant skipping a 1 and 1/2 hours queue! Walked straight into the site, had to wait 10 minutes for our time slot, then up we went. We went to the very top and enjoyed every minute. We spent about 1 1/2hours in total on the tower.

On June 24th I booked 5 tickets for a visit straight to the top via the official Eiffel tower website for July 13th 9 a.m. I was so happy because I was looking for tickets on this site for months.

On July 12th early morning I got an E-Mail with all the instructions where we should go on the following day.
Not even 10 hours later I got another mail saying that due to reperations our tickets needed to be cancelled and the money would be payed back.

We were all so disappointed especially one of my kids because visiting the Eiffel tower was one of his heart wishes during this vacation. Taking the stairs was not an option.

We went to the Eiffel tower nevertheless because of a cruise we had booked at noon.
I was furious when I saw the elevators going up and down at the Eiffel tower. I thought the visit wouldn't be possible for anybody. What a fool I was.

Why weren't we offered a time slot later that day? Was it overbooked? It feels liks a very bad and easy excuse now that our tickets needed to be cancelled.

I know that this review won't change anybody's view. If you want to see the Eiffel tower you will make it happen.

But this experience - or more not-experience - has a very bad aftertaste for us and our stay in Paris.

This was the highlight of the trip. We were able to see the tower lit up and were also able to make arrangements to go to the summit of the tower. It lit up promptly at 11PM and was breathtaking.

Do not book Eiffel Tower tickets through TripAdvisor or Viator! Book them directly through the Eiffel Tower site or buy them at the monument. We had to re buy tickets at the monument because we were not supplied with tickets, only a voucher which cannot be used as a ticket. If you get to the Eiffel Tower around 9:30-10am, there is little to no line and the tickets are so much cheaper then online. If the official Eiffel Tower site says it’s booked out, don’t fret because you can buy tickets on the day and go straight up. Thankfully the staff at the Eiffel Tower were very nice. TripAdvisor should not be selling fake and very overpriced tickets that are non-refundable!! Wish we could get our money back!!
