Stayed out of desperation after a crazy day of cancelled and delayed flights across country. I landed after 2:00 am so picked the cheapest place I could find that was close to the airport as I also had lost luggage I knew I’d need to pick up the next day.
Check in was good, the night clerk was patient even with me being so tired and confused. I bought a toothbrush kit for $5 and I signed up for the bagged breakfast the next morning and went to my room.
The room itself was a bit odd. The bed was pushed right up against the window and AC unit. The AC unit made a weird whistling sound all night, good thing I was exhausted or this would have been a problem. I managed to sleep through it. The walls are also super thin and I could hear people on the floor above urinating and flushing the toilet etc.
The cleanliness was not the best. I found blood (?) stains on the bath mat. Yuck.
The shower was good and the bagged breakfast was good. It had a juice box, yogurt, orange and small muffin inside. The lady at the front desk in the morning was also very nice and polite.
Overall the stay was ok for my situation and the cost. If I had to stay by choice I would stay elsewhere.

I have stayed @ this Inn a few times & have been content. Room is clean & spacious. Corner fireplace is a treat. Shuttle to airport OK & short drive to airport. I do have a complaint about the included breakfast. The downstairs eating area is still closed off??? The desk clerk hands you a small bag (which is adequate) but not until 6:30 am. So if you have a 6 am shuttle to airport, they will not give you a breakfast bag. Really!!! This is an airport Inn & many people have to catch early flights. I hope they reconsider their included breakfast policy.

I had a flight and the hotel was close to the airport. Great price. The free breakfast was funny but whatever. Free shuttle to the airport in the AM. There was nothing to complain about. I even had a fireplace in my room. Will stay everytime I go to Edmonton. I want to roam around LeDuc. Really cute Main St.

My flight to Edmonton was cancelled. I immediately called the hotel, they were fine, said no problem but call Expedia as well. Call Expedia. Wait for one day, two days, most of it waiting getting passed all over. Today email. Hotel charged me. In these difficult travel days one would hope hotels would be more helpful. I was already distraught about not being able to make it to very important events. Don't book here.

This was one of the most awkward hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in; it was horribly designed. We booked a room with one queen bed, which was definitely not a queen. It was a double at best (regardless of what the front desk says). My husband is a larger man, so it made for a tight squeeze. There clearly used to be two “queen” beds in the room, as the second headboard was still bolted to the wall, but with a table in front of it. There’s a “desk” crammed into the far corner that is a piece of glass on top of two small filing cabinets, which is, and I kid you not, propped up by hockey pucks (photos attached!). The tv is practically attached to the ceiling and we couldn’t figure out how to work the fireplace. The sheets had minor stains, but the towels were GROSS. They were so stained they should’ve been thrown out. Even though the bed was small, the mattress was comfy for one of us, but not the other. We had originally booked two nights, but we opted to go across the street to the Stars Inn after our first night. The staff were MUCH friendlier, the place was WAY cleaner, and the rooms were much more comfortable. Unless you’re only staying for a few hours and then heading to the airport, I would suggest spending the extra few bucks and book across the road. This is definitely a long-stay rigger motel.

I checked in at 1 am and had to get up at 6 am. I slept in a bit because breakfast did not start until 6:30 am. Because of the limited time I did not go ask if there were any additional blankets I could have. The hotels in tropical places sometimes have blankets the thickness of sheets but I did not expect such in Edmonton. All that said, for the money the room was above expectations. I turned up the thermostat and slept not too bad in the time I had. The room was very large. The breakfast was below the average but not too bad. I stayed at a place nearby a few months ago that was more money but worse than this one.

we love hotel, very clean and nice house keeper, gym and pool which are closed but nice amenities as well. But customer service at front desk. It was terrible.. he seems he wasn’t happy for his job as customer service and acted annoying. Tbh we tried not to ask him al the time and found another person always lol I don’t know what’s wrong with him

i was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of the crystal star inn, and the rates were very reasonable, but the biggest surprise was with how the staff made every attempt to make our stay better. Most other hotel staff are friendly but crystal star inn employees were genuinely concerned about our happiness. we have been here before and we will be here again!

We stayed a Friday night at this hotel after getting back from vacation. Our room was gross. The carpet was filthy dust everywhere. So disappointed. We did not do the free breakfast as we did feel comfortable eating there. Will never stay again

I chose this hotel due to price and free shuttle to airport. Room was big and the bed was comfortable. Decor is dated but everything was in good condition. Shuttle was on time when leaving for airport. Front desk clerk Dave was very helpful with questions about local area food choices. Would stay there again.
