I stayed for one night last week. Although it is an older motel and the furnishings are dated, it was a very pleasant place to stay. The main desk folk were very welcoming and kind. The internet worked very well from when I first turned it on - no problem, The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfortable. I would certainly stay here again!

Hubby and I stayed in Collingwood for a few days at the beginning of August, We wanted to check out the caves and do a bit of exploring. We rented a room at the Relax Inn. The rate was only $65.00 plus taxes per night during the week for a single queen sized bed. There was a microwave and fridge in the room. It was within walking distance to a good steak house restaurant, the Rockdell Steak House. Good food! and lots of it.
What I liked most about the motel was the proprietors. A nice young couple who really made you feel welcome. They learned it was our wedding anniversary and my birthday the next day. In the morning the man had made a pot of coffee and his wife had given me roses and a bottle of wine. Besides being very nice, they were very informative about where to go and what to do in Collingwood. If we ever go back that way, we will be sure to stay there again.

The owners were very nice and accommodating. They helped me out with the restaurant down the street, the steak house wich was really, really great food for the money you pay also. The gentleman helped me with the wifi which works fast and great at the motel. The place is kind of old as mentionend by other people but for the price you cannot go wrong. I stayed with my 8 year old daughter for only one night and it was nice. The room was very clean and the beds and sheets were very clean also. Microwave+Fridge was a plus to warm up some food and keep drinks cold. I would definitely go back again if I had to pick a place around there to sleep. Remember that you get what you pay for.

My friend and I spent but 2 nights at Relax Inn and were beyond charmed by the owner. He was kind, understanding and encapsulated small town friendliness. I would thoroughly recommend staying here to anyone. The room was well kept and the pricing is reasonable.

Rude customer service and skeezy motel. Owners weren't there to meet us when we arrived despite the open sign on.
They were rude to me and my wife.
Didn't listen to anything, only printed the hotel policy and refused a refund even though we didn't stay there.

It is rated 3 1/2 it should be closed down not rated. Not only that NEVER AGAIN this place should be shut down. Uneven floors. Washrooms all moldy. Floor in the kitchenette was like it was going to cave in. This should be shut down. You pay the same and you can stay on the main road in Collingwood. That's why there is no refund once you paid you look at the room in person you try to get a refund and it no sorry. Pictures and real place totally different. DO NOT BOOK THIS MOTEL. WIFI works sometimes you only get one chanel on TV.

Okay, I'll get this straight. Please, please don't choose this inn if you ever want a good night's rest and especially NOT room #10. Just.. no. I was with my family on vacation and we chose this randomly off the GPS because the name sounded pleasant (spent the whole night scoffing mockingly at the name) and it was, honestly, one of the stupidest things. I spent my stay sleeping in the sofa bed with the most terrible mattress I've ever slept on. Sure, there was a stove and a big fridge and a nice little TV on the side of the room, but. I wanted to bathe and guess what I found? Two spiders in the bathtub. There was a window where anyone could've easily watched you shower. The next morning a CENTIPEDE crawled out of the bathtub's hole and I woke up with bug bites on my skin. Owners were NICE but can't be bothered. And it was expensive for such a crappy place. So, basically, just don't. Sorry.

Went to work in Collingwood for the weekend, td booked me a room at this motel. Bugs everywhere including bed. Dead bug smears across the walls. I worked 15 hours and stayed up with my shoe for a half hour killing bugs. Paid for two nights and packed up at 5am and never returned. Better off sleeping in my car. Bed came to your shin, only thing new was the ceramic tile they put on the bathroom floor. Red carpet and dirty old bed spread (yuck) I don't know how these people could look a customer in the face in the morning. No coffee maker. I turned the light on in the night and bugs scurried behind the baseboard heater. Holes in the tub surround and more bugs.

We spent one night at the Relax Inn because it was close to where we needed to be. We had a decent night's sleep, but were glad that all we wanted was a bed for the night. Our room (#2) was equipped with a fridge, stovetop and microwave, but not a single pot, plate or utensil- not even a cup or glass. The room was very barren- two beds, a table with two wooden chairs, and a TV/drawers unit. No closet, just a wooden rod behind the door to hang a coat on. The bathroom lacked any semblance of shelves or even a towel rack; I needed to sit sideways on the toilet because it is too close to the angled wall in front; and the pedestal sink was attached to the wall (barely) by a full inch of caulking. All that said, we had a good sleep and a decent shower, but nothing more, for $100. That's overpriced for this property.
