Booked via BW for 122$CAN per night, GOC rate, for 2 nights,
Checked in the evening, very friendly service. Room with 2 queens, table with chairs, LCD TV, fridge, microwave, parking sliding door entrance which was convenient as i had my bike to bring in the room (but only view of the parking). K-Cups provided every day from front desk. Used Roku on TV with no issues.
Breakfast was excellent, still not buffet (a couple staff fill your plate) but they do provide you with ordering sheets, and you pretty much get what you want from the menu (in reason)...both days, got scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, potatoes, juice, yogurts. They always gave me a few snack bars for my bike ride. Very good and friendly.
The pool was decent sized but lots of kids. Did not notice a gym.
Loads of dining options in walking distance; i indulged in Uyghur food on night and La belle Province next door the other.
Bike path is close by, off Boul de Rome (which connects with multiple paths to either Montreal, South Shore, or Chambly area...)

I enjoy using this hotel when having business in the greater Montreal area. It is convenient to and from the highway with plenty of good restaurants close by. The rooms are very clean and extremely comfortable.

I love this hotel when staying in the Montreal area. It is close to absolutely everything you need and in a great bilingual community witch was a huge plus for me not speaking French i could go to Tim hortons and local shops and not feel like I can't communicate. Room wise is standard size with a very comfortable bed. Has a nice desk and bottom floors have doors into the parking lot. Location also has a pool and a outside seating area. Walking distance to anything one could possibly need. And a great restaurant next door..

OK, location with lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Rooms were small but direct access to parking on ground floor was convenient. Housekeeping needs more attention in bathroom and vacuuming carpet. Breakfast was disgusting and consisted of microwaved items in cellophane bags, juice machine not working and no milk for cereal. Was denied a 1-hour late checkout by manager because I was part of a group booking, even though I was willing to pay any associated fees. Nice business practice.

We stayed at the Best Western Brossard (at Brossard, Quebec) from October 9th to 10th in room 219 and 221. During the stay at the hotel, one of my family members got bitten by bed bugs when she stayed in the room 221. The next morning we went to the hotel front desk to complain about the bed bugs. The front desk staff said to leave a note to the Front Office Manager who has the authority to make a decision on this incident and who is off duty at the moment (for Thanksgiving long weekend). Despite leaving additional notes to the hotel later, no response was received from the person in charge until October 12th. On October 13th we received a response from the hotel manager to our email to the hotel dated October 11th, which disappoints us. According to the email, the manager noted that the hotel’s cleaning and maintenance department are fully trained in the knowledge of these as it pertains to the hospitality standards around the world. Then, how did my family member get bitten by the beg bugs after sleeping in the hotel? We are very disappointed with the manager’s attitude being deliberately avoid the responsibility. As a Best Western Rewards member, I travel often and have never had the horrible experience that I had here, at any other locations of the Best Western. This was such an unpleasant experience at the Best Western for ruining Thanksgiving holiday vacation caused by bed bugs.

If you are sensitive to scents, do not stay here. I literally recoiled when I stepped into our room because of the heavy perfume smell with an underlying scent of staleness—maybe old cigarette smoke? We put on the air conditioner, but the air coming from it was stale, too.
When I got in bed, the sheets were the same combination of cloying perfume and staleness. I ended up sleeping with a mask on to minimize the odor because I honestly didn’t know if I’d be able to sleep.
Obviously, this wasn’t pleasant, but what really sent me over the edge was the next night. We had continued on our trip, and when I got ready for bed, I pulled out my nightclothes and couldn’t believe it. They had absorbed the odor from the sheets. I couldn’t wear them because they smelled so strongly of the perfume/stale smoke. I’ve never had something like this happen before.
I responded to the BW’s email requesting my input on our stay and told them this. I received a polite (albeit probably form) letter in return.
I’ve tried repeatedly to tell those running hotels, motels, etc that using strongly perfumed detergent and cleaners not only doesn’t completely mask the offensive odor they’re trying to cover up, but the overwhelming scent in and of itself can be unpleasant to those of us who may be sensitive to strong smells.
That said, I had great interactions with three of the staff working—one man who offered to take our luggage cart back to the office when I met him in the corridor and the two men serving breakfast. The two men at breakfast had me laughing—a great start to the day.
I was perplexed that the woman who checked us in didn’t explain the layout of the motel better. We asked if we should bring our luggage in the front door. (We were on the ground floor.) She said we could, or we could use doors down the hall. What she didn’t say and what would have been great to know was that we were able to park outside of our room. The room had a door leading directly into the parking lot. We literally could have backed up to our room and unloaded our luggage directly into it rather than schlepping everything down the hallway on the luggage cart.

Our soccer team was booked for a soccer tournament at this hotel. We tried several times to contact the manager who is apparently the person who handles blocking off rooms for groups. Several messages were left by two parents of the families attending the tournament and no response. On the check-in we were told there was nothing they can do to try and place everyone in the same area and was very rude when we asked. Upon check-out they asked how our stay was we again mentioned that it would of been nice if we had rooms all in the same area. They denied that anyone had left messages asking for a block of rooms.
Their two ice machines were broken so we had no ice for our drinks. One of the families had asked to changed rooms because their toilet and drain was sluggish. They were told not possible and upon check out he asked for compensation for the poor draining toilet and drain. Manager went to check room with him and said that is how they should drain and there is nothing he could do.
Hot breakfast consisted of sausage, scrambled eggs & tater tots both days. Their croissants were stale and even after toasting were inedible. They get away with this poorly operated hotel because there was a soccer tournament and music festival in town. Won't stay again.

Visited for two nights July 2022 with my husband and 10 year old son. We were visiting Montreal for a family wedding. Location is great - very close to the wedding venue we had to attend in Montreal as well as the Old Port which we visited as well. Hotel surrounded by restaurants, shopping and gas stations. Our room was very warm when we entered and we could not adjust the air conditioning unit any lower. My husband inquired at the front desk and they sent maintenance immediately which was great. Turns out the a/c unit needs a part replaced so they moved us to another room which was perfect. We enjoyed the ground floor room because there is an outside entrance to the these rooms in addition to an inside entrance. Outside door very handy for loading/unloading your vehicle right at your room. Complimentary hot and cold breakfast available was good and had quite a few options. The pool area was nice as well.

The check-in was super fast, the room was super clean. We took the suite with the large bath and it was very big, which is nice because my girlfriend is a big beautiful woman. Althiugh, since it's a luxury room, it would have been nicer to have a smart TV or a Bluetooth speaker, or other modern entertainment provided with the room.

Having enjoyed staying at many Best Westerns before, the stay I had here was for a lack of better words, comical.
When we arrived, the staff at reception stared at us until I asked to be checked in. They quickly checked us in, provided us room cards, and sent us off without any directions as to where our room was.
As our suite was on the second floor, we approached the stairwell and could already tell what to expect from our stay. The second floor had children running and screaming throughout the hall, with their parents having a loud conversation outside their rooms. While we thought this would not be a problem once we got settled in our room, the noise continued for over two hours, with the door and walls providing no barrier to the noise.
We left for dinner and upon our return a younger adult crowd was partying in the hallway, complete with a speaker, and yelling amongst themselves, which we could hear from the first floor. When we reported this to the front desk, they allowed them to move outside by the back entrance in the parking lot (right under our window), where the party continued. We then had to report this again to reception to which they said all they could do was ask them to be quieter. I asked if we could cancel our three-night stay, including that first night, as it was obvious we wouldn’t have a quiet stay. The supervisor told us there was nothing he could do and to call their customer help line (a 30-minute call that didn’t result in any action). When we down a third time, we learned they cancelled our remaining two nights without any confirmation, refused to let us talk to the manager, refused cancelling our stay that night, and took no further action on the group partying in the back. After multiple trips to reception, a request to cancel our stay, and indifference from the supervisor, we accepted our fate, stayed the night, and left the next morning (woken by children screaming at 7am, then vacuuming at 9am).
If you’re a larger group looking for a hotel with lax noise and loitering policies, this Best Western should meet your needs. If you’re looking for a quiet place to sleep, look elsewhere.
