So just be cautious and know your rights dear Seniors.
Food servings are large in quantities. For example, noodles or pinakbet, at less than P190 are a delicious bargain, being good for 3 to 4 persons. Waiters are attentive and courteous.
Overall, this hotel is a good place for weary travelers, especially after a long 7-hour ride from Manila.
So we requested if they could give us free breakfast meals as well since we paid the same amount as their standard rate. The front-desk said that she will ask their manager and call us back. No call came. So we went to the front-desk again on our first night to ask again. She then called the manager over. She was the one who pissed us off. It would've been good if she simply said that it is simply not the agreement with Agoda.
However this was not the case. She reviewed all our confirmation print-outs, went in a room, then came out saying "oh, sorry... we don't offer free breakfast during peak season even for the standard guests." If this was the case,
- then there was no need for the front-desk to ask permission from their manager.
- there was no need for her to analyze our confirmation slips.
- there was no need for her to go in their staff room.
- they could've simply said this from the start.
She was obviously lying, but to further verify our suspicions, the made the following mistakes later that evening. The front-desk called one of our friends' room and asked "Hello, we gave you 2 copies of the meal stubs, please return one of the copies." Of course my friend said that she didn't receive any meal stub. Then the front-desk reacted and said "Oh, you're the group with rooms with no breakfast." (we were a group with 3 rooms) True enough, the next day we found a lot of people in the breakfast area. This frustrated us even more - so we just checked out early and ate elsewhere.

We stayed just for an overnight stay, as we are just visiting the Ma-cho temple and would go back to Manila the following day.
As for the hotel, the front desk is small and located on the side, looks like the mini bar, but no issues with that. What bothers me is the Hotel Crew (bell boy) knows more about the availability than the attending receptionist.
We eventually booked the room and they had an off-peak promo with 30% discount. We also payed for addt'l bed as we are 3.
Here comes the room, it's well lighted and spacious, however, when you begin to thoroughly inspect the room, you'll notice a lot of areas for improvement.
bathroom
- door lock is broken
- has a hole in the whole which emits a foul smell
- the non-skid mat is filthy underneath
- no proper place to hang your clothes
room/ cabinet
- dusty
- there's no one hanger alike, its like it came from different garage sale
- there's a hanging electrical wire, hope no one gets electrocuted
Since we payed extra for the additional bed, came to surprise that the bed is already available even if we didn't pay an extra, as it's a pullout bed, the only difference from not "availing" is the bed sheet.
Inclusive of set breakfast, to be fair, it was served well and taste good.
Also, do watch your step as the flooring between the elevator and aisle is uneven, we tripped a couple of times.
Summary:
Pro: nice staff, ample parking space, spacious room. good food
Cons: maintenance is poor, dusty room, bathroom
please check my photos for more details.
Very poor customer service - We had immediate concerns in the room but reception staff cannot decide right away on what they should do. They asked us to wait until the next day, but concern was not even solved until the following days.
Cannot fulfill their commitment to customers - even time commitment!
Unprofessional manager and staff - It showed that they don't give much value on providing good customer service or good customer experience.

The staff are quite friendly and check in was a breeze. The rooms are adequately sized, but the single beds are quite narrow. At some point during the night I thought Id roll over and fall onto the floor. Some electrical outlets do not work.
There are no complimentary water bottles in the room, which I found strange. But the hotel staff called us up asking if we wanted water to be served. We said yes, and, stranger still, when the water arrived it was in two glasses with ice.
The hotel staff also called us up in the room asking what we preferred for breakfast the next morning. The choices were standard Philippine provincial hotel fare: longanisa, tapa, tocino or daing na bangus with garlic or plain rice and coffee or tea.
What I found strangest was the arrangement of the toilet and bath. They were separate cubicles. And outside the toilet is located the wash basin, with hardly any space to put your sundries on. The shower (quite a narrow affair) had only a single towel rack, so there’s nowhere else you can hang your clothes on but the door knob. The shower head sprays water in a widely dispersed pattern, and there is no adjustment for it. Which means that when you turn the shower on and the water hasn’t yet heated up, you’ll likely get blasted by cold water as theres hardly any room in the shower to avoid the stream.
Apart from the quirks this is a good enough hotel, facility-wise. Still, for everything it offers, the room rates are a tad bit on the high side.
