The facade of the hotel looks nice, clean and bright. We stayed just for an overnight stay, as we are just visiting the Ma-cho temple and would go back to Manila the following day.
As for the hotel, the front desk is small and located on the side, looks like the mini bar, but no issues with that. What bothers me is the Hotel Crew (bell boy) knows more about the availability than the attending receptionist.
We eventually booked the room and they had an off-peak promo with 30% discount. We also payed for addt'l bed as we are 3.
Here comes the room, it's well lighted and spacious, however, when you begin to thoroughly inspect the room, you'll notice a lot of areas for improvement. bathroom - door lock is broken - has a hole in the whole which emits a foul smell - the non-skid mat is filthy underneath - no proper place to hang your clothes room/ cabinet - dusty - there's no one hanger alike, its like it came from different garage sale - there's a hanging electrical wire, hope no one gets electrocuted
Since we payed extra for the additional bed, came to surprise that the bed is already available even if we didn't pay an extra, as it's a pullout bed, the only difference from not "availing" is the bed sheet. Inclusive of set breakfast, to be fair, it was served well and taste good.
Also, do watch your step as the flooring between the elevator and aisle is uneven, we tripped a couple of times.
Summary: Pro: nice staff, ample parking space, spacious room. good food Cons: maintenance is poor, dusty room, bathroom

Nothing much to say. Just an average hotel in San Fernando City, La Union. One of the decent business hotel in the province.
A little too pricey as well but with average amenities.
All in all will do if you are in town for business.

Not worth your money - We paid for a deluxe room worth 3k per night, but was just given like a standard room in other hotels within the vicinity.
Very poor customer service - We had immediate concerns in the room but reception staff cannot decide right away on what they should do. They asked us to wait until the next day, but concern was not even solved until the following days.
Cannot fulfill their commitment to customers - even time commitment!
Unprofessional manager and staff - It showed that they don't give much value on providing good customer service or good customer experience.

Good Chinese food but quite pricey. We ordered steam fish, fried chicken, appetizers/cold cuts, chopsuey, etc. Everything is delicious. Service is quite slow but staff we're respectful. The chef even went out to see us. Give it a try if you are so sick of Chinese fast food. Place is clean too.

clean room. if you need to rest in between drives from manila to farther northern provinces, you may stay on this hotel as it is along the hi-way. Service is okay, however, we encountered one rude staff. we were on the back of the hotel (parking) when one lady staff arrived and closed the door on us. we asked her not to close the door but she still did. How rude is that. we have to walk all the way to the front entrance just to get to our room.

Relatively new, this hotel boasts of a glass elevator. There are also several function rooms in the 3rd floor making it a popular venue for trainings, workshops and social events. The hotel is modern in design but the rooms are quite small. There is also no swimming pool. Location is just along the main road and just a short distance from San Fernando City. Overall, one can get a good night's rest at Ariana.
