We chose this motel because #1 Price was cheaper than the others that raised their rates on weekends, and #2 the location, although not ideal was close to the Niagara Parkway and their parking lots. The pluses for this facility are price, location, and personal service. The building itself needs renovation, upgrading, and a general sprucing up. There are breakfast and dinner restaurants nearby, and it is close-in to the main area. A place to sleep at a reasonable price

I really enjoyed this hotel. Our room was huge and decorations were very enjoyable. The staff are very nice specially the owner-Stephanie. She is a amazing lady and very helpful. The area is very convenient and quite place. Great area and great hotel for a good price. Would definitely be staying here again my next trip.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place, and the owner Stephanie made us feel just like family. We were there for New Years Eve and since it was a two hour wait for cabs, Stephanie drove us to the Falls - what a sweetheart! We appreciated her hospitality greatly.

Pro's: great owner, the two bedroom suite was roomy (~1000 sq ft) with a pullout couch.

Con's: beds were cheap and small, mold in the bathroom, leaky ceiling in kitchen, a bit dated, shifty clientele (we heard a fight next door through the wall and it was pretty crass - a woman had her head bashed into the wall)

All in all, it's a place to hang your hat for the night. Nothing special, but it gets the job done. Stephanie is great and definitely made our stay.

Went to this Hotel - by GPS - Thought we were in the wrong place. There is no lobby - and no flowers. The place is far from the website pictures.

The staff are friendly - but the bed in the room was terrible - Lopsided - I did not sleep.

Cats everywhere - and would probably not go back.

I stayed here based on the glowing tripadvisor reviews. The owner was really nice and friendly, and they obviously work hard to keep the place in good condition. My only issue was that the room had a lot of flies and other flying insects, and there was no screen on the window to open it.

The internet was super fast and the tv selection was good. The beds were comfy and clean. But yeah...there are a ton of motels on Lundy Lane that don't have internet reservations. I feel like that is a better location (restaurants, etc.) and probably about the same, maybe even cheaper rooms.

Stayed feb and march for work. Room 6 and 20

A bit dated but very clean. Thin walls yes but hey, it's a motel.

Functional but bring a power bar. 2 outlets in room ( + 1 in bath) used up by tv, light, micro, fridge etc.

Beds are good.

Pool!

Close to a Tims and Marineland. 10 min to downtown N Falls w/no traffic.

Owner is great and very accommodating even off season w/no one on site.

Great value/budget motel.

If you are looking for a clean and quiet little motel that offers good value and impeccable service, this is the one for you. It is only a few minutes’ drive from the Falls, but it is surrounded with trees and fields, so it is a very peaceful place to rest after a day hanging out in noisy Niagara Falls. Both the bed and pillows offer firm support, which I liked, but my husband didn’t. I suppose this is a personal thing. The motel provides a little bottle of luxurious “Aromatherapy” conditioning shampoo and little soap bars. The only reason I am not giving this motel 5 stars is that there were two drawbacks: First, the air-conditioning unit was very loud – it was the only thing disturbing the peace and quiet that this motel offers. Second, upon entering our room for the first time, we noticed a slight mouldy smell, so we bought a bottle of Febreeze at the nearby Canadian Tire and sprayed it around the room, and this took care of this small problem. Despite of this, I would still highly recommend this motel because of all the reasons I mentioned above.

A number of features attracted us to this place! Close to Marineland and other attractions of interest, away from the craziness of "downtown", outdoor entrance, cost, among other things like BETTY'S restaurant! (Fabulous). The beds weren't extremely comfortable, but we slept, showered and left! It certainly met our needs! It was clean and outside was also kept well! There wasn't a phone in the room, but we had cell phones if we needed to call, we wouldn't have used the phone anyway! Quiet surroundings, close to Tim Horton's, and friendly staff. The pool wasn't opened yet (but it was only May 21st! However, it was hot and would have been nice after a long day walking around everywhere to relax with a dip in the pool, maybe next time! I hope we can make a return trip this summer!

We stubled upon this website and found it to have a great look.
So we booked it. Upon our arrival we were met with friendly staff and a clean family run motel. It was nice to see old values.

They provided us with the use of BBQ and a pavillion that allowed us to prepare a nice meal for our family, then return back to Marineland (2min away) later that day.

The pool was warm and clean and the kids really took advantage of it.

We truely enjoyed our stay!

Requested/Needed Nonsmoking room due to allergies and asthma. Saw it advertised as such, reassured there'd be penalties if WE failed to keep the room smoke free.
Room advertises full fridges, kitchenettes, onsite housekeeping, A/C, WiFi, park, pub, pool, and free parking.

Our room has nicotine stains everywhere, smells like body odours, holes in the wall, and years of filth.
Since it's the only room not holding longterm (2-10yrs), tenants, room switching won't be possible.
We paid for a month since the owner would not accept less, and required cash only (despite website claims).

There is no pub.

There is no housekeeping so prepare to clean the place yourself. Bedding too, buy a cover and a sleeping bag these ones are stained, smelly, and covered in hair amd holes.

Our microwave and kettle were filthy, 50-30 years old, and broken. We reported it but bought our own rather than wait for repairs.

Our heat smelled of burning wires, then made noises and began to smoke so we reported that also but got no offer to replace it so we bought an oil heater.

Our power went out constantly because we keep forgetting that you can only have one electronic going at a time. That would be fine if there was someone onsite to reset the breaker but we end up waiting sometimes hours to finish cooking and go without power.

A few days in and the other tenants are proving to be the worst part of our stay. Drugs, violent threats, child abuse, noise pollution, drug pollution come in your window and around the A/C unit filling our unit. We are able to put headphones on 27/7 to mask SOME of the violent noises and abuses night and day but there is NO escape from the drug and vape smoke.

Because of this you cannot ever open a window, and forget about the moldy A/C (which is also the heater) so the unit is likely to catch fire if on too long. The owner did come in with a dirty dust broom to "fix" the A/C but yea, not so much.

Light bulbs; very dim yellow bulbs but still you can't open the ancient dirty curtains (held up by shower curtain rings) or the other tenants will stare in while they have drug sessions in front and shout obscenities at you (or threats if you are a man). You can't recruit any help from anyone since everyone is all long time friends and family and will do anything to drive you out early. Ad an outsider YOU ARE NOT WELCOME.

The pool is out of commission, the whole place seems to be rotting, and the police will be there constantly.
Positives?

Wifi is okay, fridge is large, parking is free. There is a yard area if you don't mind verbal/sexual abuse, and threats.
There are no cockroaches or bedbugs. Plenty of fleas and ants though.

You will have to fight for your deposit so take a tonne of pictures or video to make your case. Refunds will NOT be offered even if police mediate, validating your right to safety if you want to leave early (you WILL need to leave early).

We are presently being pressured out by threat of our lives without refund. If it wasn't May long weekend we'd have left days ago (there is no vacancy anywhere in the region).

We are now convinced that these people are scammers who aim to charge for a whole month plus deposit then work with the permanent residence to drive you out without refund so they can rerent it to the next sucker.

Be Very Aware and if you have NOWHERE else to go, RECORD EVERYTHING! Especially when complaining as the owner will come in hot, pounding and yelling at your door.

Seemed ok to do some basic email anyway but it might depend on what room you are in, or how far away you are from the front office. Not sure as we were right by the front office.
