We spent four nights at the Chateau Mont Sainte Anne in early March, little realizing that it would be the last ski trip of the season thanks to COVID-19. Fortunately for us, our stay at this hotel was exceptional!

Upon arrival we found out we were upgraded to a room on the fifth floor - this is their Nordik section with Scandinavian style rooms. We also received breakfast vouchers for the four days we were staying thanks to being a VIP member with Expedia.

The room itself (517) was spacious with two queen beds, a kitchenette, dining table, and large bathroom with a full bath. The kitchen was well appointed with a full microwave and dishwasher although there is no countertop stove. Plates, cutlery, wine glasses etc. where also provided and there’s a large grocery store less than a 5-minute drive away.

The hotel wasn’t busy so our room was exceptionally quiet. Breakfast consisted of a full buffet with lots of choices including, bacon, ham, sausages, scrambled eggs, pancakes and waffles. There were continental options as well that included pastries, croissants, cheeses, yogurts, cereals and fruit juices. The food tasted really good and they served a nice strong coffee.

The hotel staff, from the receptionist to the porters and the cleaning crew were all exceptional; we even received an email from the hotel manager on the day we checked into ensure that everything was to our satisfaction.

I highly recommend this hotel, not only in terms of the location (it’s right on the ski slope) but also based on the fact that the rooms are very nice (4th and 5th floors) and the staff are exceptionally friendly.

I don’t know when we’ll be able to travel again but at least my last vacation is full of good memories thanks to the team at Chateau Mont Sainte Anne!

During my 6-night stay in late August, I found the location in Beaupre, at the base of the hill, ideal for hiking. It's just a 40-minute drive to Quebec City, and free parking was a bonus. However, the breakfast was subpar, offering limited coffee choices but various milk options. Staying beyond the weekend meant limited food choices from the coffee shop. The pool was a relaxing spot after hiking. My penthouse room had mountain views, a fully equipped kitchen, but the washing machine didn't work. Despite these issues, the overall experience was positive, thanks to the location, amenities, and enjoyable pool.

This was our annual week to ski Mont Sainte Anne, Quebec. We were a party of two couples and shared one the hotel's two bedroom, two bathroom suites. It was perfect with its full kitchen and spacious dining and living areas. The feature of being able to ski in and ski out of the hotel is a very convenient and attractive feature. The hotel has a very good Bistro restaurant and I can recommend the ribs and the chicken entres. Get a table by the operating fireplace and it will be an evening to remember.

Arrived yesterday at the hotel, and I must say I’m disappointed in the condition of the room. Door to bathroom does not close, plate under the sink falls out, dirty dishes and the screen door does not work. For the price we are paying per room I would assume things like that would not be happening. Plus we were provided with one roll of toilet paper and 2 pool towels for a room that has 4 ppl reserved but has 8 ppl capacity.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times as part of my work at the Velirium mountain bike festival. But I hadn't done so for several years prior to my stay at the start of October. It was a stunning time of year, the area is incredibly beautiful and I was pleased to see that the hotel had enjoyed a renovation since the last time I had visited. The communal areas, rooms and amenities had all received a much needed breath of fresh air and all boded well, until... At first I thought it was maybe just me but gradually, across each mealtime, I established that it wasn't - every member of staff that we came in contact with during our stay was either disinterested, rude, aggressive or all three. It was like a prison outreach program, without the laughs. The bar manager berated myself and a colleague for trying to have a drink at the bar, the waiter gave forth when one of our party forgot to bring down a meal ticket and the whole thing culminated with a physical confrontation with a night porter who tried to snatch a glass from a female workmate. Given the financial outlay to stay here it was well below what I would expect and hope that most independent, never mind big chain hotels would deem appropriate.

Poor quality of rooms (cold draft through windows | heating not working | plaster all over floors) that need upgrade considering the prices being charged. Try booking through booking .com | expedia | Trivago as prices much cheaper. Paid over $800.00 for two nights for one room with two queen beds / no lift tickets included.

We were upgraded to a two bedroom loft suite overlooking the pool and the ski hill. It was fabulous! Open air, high ceilings, amazing shower, soaking tub, fireplace, big dinning area and full kitchen. The beds were super comfy (king in master bedroom and queen in second bedroom). Everything is newly renovated and very clean. The suite does have a long narrow balcony, which is used for standing (not sitting), but you can sit just inside in the living room with the glass sliding doors open, which is what we did. The swimming pool was so nice after a full day touring Quebec City. We pretty much had the pool to our selves as we were there mid week in early July. There is great hiking trails right from the hotel. The gondola only runs every second day or so, so check the schedule when you check in if you want to ride up. The restaurant is excellent. We ate there both evenings, and the food was excellent, and nicely presented. would definitely stay here again!

Would recommend this for family and friends' gatherings. The staff is extremely helpful. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner, of high quality. For lunch the Starbucks seems to be run by the same staff and features full meals and fine sandwiches among other things. The pool is heated, and the outdoor, large hot pools are excellent. You can do snow angels then jump back in the pools with jets. There is a good exercise room and a game room with ping pong, fuzbol and other tables and a small romper bouncy house. Dozens of other dining alternatives just out the front entrance and a short drive.

Hi, I want to thank you for taking the time to share your review. That will help us improving our product. I'm so sorry to read that the Front Desk Agent who proceeded to your check-in did not tell you that, because of COVID-19, we are not doing the daily clean up in a room where a guest is staying for less than 3 nights. However, it is always a pleasure to give fresh new towels or new garbage bags if you need them during your stay. I will certainly make a follow-up with my team. Thank you to have chosen to stay with us and we hope to welcome you back!

We spent a week at the hotel during summer. Our room was great, with very comfy beds (both the king and the queen murphy bed). We had a fully functional kitchen, with a big fridge and a stove, nice bathroom with plenty of towels, and a cute balcony. The entire hotel was very nice and clean. We dined twice at the hotel restaurant (Le Bistro Nordik) and the food was amazing. The outdoor pool was of a decent size, clean, pleasant, with a fantastic view of the mountain. The hotel is at a great spot if you are into hiking and it's nearby local attractions (Canyon Sainte-Anne, Montmerency Falls, Wendake), with an easy commute to Quebec City, which we visited almost every day. The staff was very polite and helpful, in spite of our broken French. We would definitely like to visit again, one week was not enough.
