A place worth every buck! The cabin is welcoming and very cozy. Rain or shine this place is relaxing. There is a small playground for kids to go to when they get tired of the water. Free wood for bonfire. Other renters said they’ve been coming to this resort every year. We will do the same, as my boys have fallen in love with this place. Cole, Brian and Paul are very helpful. From booking process all the way to checking out. See you guys next year!

We had an amazing stay here in the last week of June. We only stayed for 3 nights and how we wish we could stay longer. It was our first time at Seclusion Bay, there were not a lot of advertising in the internet about this place. I found it in Google and just tried my luck based on the pictures I saw on their websites. Most of the reviews of this place were from 2 years ago. When we got there, we were a bit scared going down the steep road heading to the resort but when we arrived, we were amazed, the place was just so beautiful. The lake was calm, the property was well taken care off. This is a place where you can just sit by the lake, relax and just think of happy thoughts. Our little one had a blast swimming and playing in the sand. Bonus is we were there the weekdays before the Canada day weekend, so it was really quiet, we had the resort all to ourselves for 2 nights (Wed and Thu) and then renters started coming on Friday night, we left on Saturday. We will definitely be back next year, staying for a week for sure.

Stayed in the lower level suite. Other than being outdated, everything worked great and had no problems during my 5 night stay. Besides your food and drink, everything you need is there for all your cooking. Nice BBQ right outside your door.
Beautiful scenery as you are steps from Okanagan lake. All amenities are a short drive away...and also the many many wineries!
Other than the previous renters/cleaners who left their garbage under the sink for me..ugh....I wouldn't hesitate to stay hear again.

Seclusion Bay resort does honour its name... it is very secluded! There's literally nothing close by. A trip outside of the premises feels like a true road trip, the nearest shops and services are a good 20 minute drive away, one way. Walking anywhere is out of the question.
Inside the resort, absolutely no services or amenities are located at the premises, not even an ice machine. . The cabins are cleaned upon check-in, but from that point on you are responsible for cleaning your own cabin, as well as cooking your own food, making your own beds, washing your own dishes... you get the idea. Not much of a "resort" service or feel by any means.
The main attractive of this place is its lake front. Admittedly, it is a beautiful lake, though the water is very cold so not suitable to swim in it. There is a tiny sandy area for children to play, and a pier where you can fish. The resort does not offer rentals of boats, kayaks, or any water sports equipment. So unless you bring your own equipment (or drive 40 minutes round trip to procure yourself some equipment), there is absolutely nothing to do inside this "resort" other than looking at the lake. For the price of the stay, which is comparable to a mid-range hotel, you'd expect a minimal level of service from a self proclaimed resort.
If what your are looking for is to rent a cabin that overlooks a lake, and seclusion away from civilization, this might be the place for you.

What a secret...a secluded secret that is!! Amazing updated condos and cabins..feet away from the lake..all the amenities you could ever want. Family friendly, lovely beach, fire pits and marina. Fish right off the dock. Everything was extremely clean and easy to relax. We are booking next year again for sure.

Have stayed at this beautiful resort twice now, and I am always amazed at the feeling I get when I'm there - like the rest of the world has disappeared. The charming cabins on the beach, the condos with breathtaking views, the wide beach and marina, the view across the lake to the mountains; it just doesn't get any better. Mother Nature at her finest! Yet this resort is only 20 mins. drive to downtown Kelowna. The housekeeping staff and managers are super friendly and do an excellent job - they really care about your happiness. Every cabin and condo is individually decorated by the owner, so they're all quite charming and comfortable. My favourite things to do here are: strolling along the beach, looking for unusual birds in the trees (and listening for the loons) and just sitting and reading in the sun on the dock. The prices are excellent for what you get. I would definitely recommend this resort for a real Okanagan experience.

We booked this place blind and drove from Jasper which was one long, long way. When we finally were near the destination, I wondered what we had got into - a long and steep winding road from the Highway. But let me tell you Brothers, it was worth every Kilometre. The accommodation seems fairly old but the rooms were huge and spotless, AND it is actually RIGHT on Lake Okanagan. Yes, the water laps at the shore and there is a pontoon like jetty for you to use, jump into the refreshing, clean, clear water or fish from. You can even bring your boat. Paul the manager and his Team were excellent and anything we wished to know, they helped immediately. it is also so quiet - no traffic, access is via a coded gate but only 7 minutes from Supermarkets, Liquor Stores, Restaurants and Golf Courses. Peachland, a quaint little village is only 8 minutes down the road. In all I found this place to be very relaxing and the 2 BR accom had everything you needed even a BBG on the larger balcony overlooking the Lake. (Even had a remote controlled retractable awning for hot days). Free WiFi, parking and Activity Centre. Great Value at sensible rates. (Not Fairmont rates). Great stuff Readers. Go and enjoy. Paul

I have just returned from the most relaxing, rejuvinating vacation .I have never been to B.C. before and this resort surpased all my expectations. From cabins to condos you can enjoy the breathtaking views. Have coffee on the patio and watch the sun come up. Enjoy day at wine tours then return to freshly made up rooms by the excellent cleaning staff. After dinner you can still have a late swim and enjoy the fire pits for drink and conversation with the friendly people staying there. Rick and Paul go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay .They greet you on arrival and stop to chat to all . It is so hidden that the cozy atmosphere makes you feel like you have found a paradise...Thanks for the wonderful time.

Though the road was suspect down to the property, the location was outstanding. The staff were friendly and helpful while the family friendly waterfront setting with a dock, sandy beach area and patio amenities, that included a unit bbq, table and chairs, made the stay worthwhile. Though the building was tired, our unit was updated. The only warning I feel necessary for condo renters is, be prepared to do steep outdoor stairs as the only rentals with direct parking are the cottages. That said, we would definitely stay at Seclusion Bay again!

We came a week after Labour day, so the resort is quiet and peaceful..no sound of cars or light pollution...just tranquility! We stayed in one of the condos, slightly outdated but very nice. Paul was very nice and helpful. It's a great place to get away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life.

"All of the cabins are right on the waterfront, so you can't go wrong. Looks like some are more updated than others. All of the condo units are also overlooking the water - the condos seem to be more "adult orientated". The condos look to be more updated."
