Terry at the front desk was amazing, friendly and helpful. He checked us in quickly and efficiently. One night we had to trouble him a few times for laundry and a toilet issue. He provided information and took care of the problems very quickly. We were very fortunate have him on shift during our stay.
As for the hotel, it's a good place to stay. You'll pay a little extra for weekends during the summer, but it's still cheaper than other hotels in the area. During COVID, they will give you a packaged breakfast, but you can still pour your own coffee/juices. Pool was closed. Overall, a comfortable stay and would come back.

Great hotel, near to city downtown. The room was big and clean. We messed up the reservation, but the front desk made it work for use! They also have guest laundry, when you get a key to the room, no one else can enter while you are using it.

The beds were hard and the pillows flat other than the two extremely fluffed pillows they keep above the closet, the sink wasn’t in the bathroom and made for brushing our teeth awkward my uncle ended up staying out late and when I went out for a walk the moment I made it outside I had security come up to me to make me prove that I was staying at the hotel so you immediately don’t feel welcome, if you’re staying to look after someone in the hospital or just generally trying to check out the town for a couple days I would look into another hotel. It seems like it’s mostly used for quick business visits. It’s just not family friendly and my family ended up leaving Kelowna the day after they checked out because they ended up asking a friend to take them in. Which is also easier if you are looking to visit and actually feel welcome in the city or your hotel🙃.

Sorry to hear you didn't feel welcome. We have security patrol our property late nights just to make sure there are no trespassers. This is to keep our guests safe. Anyone out in the property past 11:00 pm will be asked to prove they are guests. We're not trying to be mean or unwelcoming, we're just making sure the property is safe. Also, our hotel is not just for quick business trips. Over half of our guests are long-term reservations: weekly or monthly stays. Again, sorry you didn't feel welcome but we are proud that we haven't had any of our guest's property damaged or stolen in the past couple of years. There is not many hotels in Kelowna that can say the same.

AVOID - I would give this motel no stars if I could.
The motel has not been updated since the 1970’s, rates are higher than other similar motels nearby.
The motel will charge you a $200 deposit, be careful on check out because they will try to find excuses to charge you and deduct from your motel - if your towels are deemed to dirty with make up or any stain no matter the size - there are no signs in the room to warn you that you will be charged against your deposit.
There are better hotels with better rates up the road and likely not hard up to nickel and dime your deposit over petty issues that are general motel wear and tear.

All of our guests, including yourself, sign and initial our security deposit waiver at check-in. The deposit waiver states that the guest will be responsible for any loss or damages to the property or its contents. We charged you $10 for your blood splattered hand towel because those blood stain render the towel useless to us. We offered you the hand towel to take with you but you declined, so we throw away the towel. This is standard practice for all hotels. You were completely satisfied with the hotel until you were charged the $10, then suddenly the hotel is over priced and outdated. You warned us that you were going to leave a nasty review, hoping that it would turn other people away. However, everyone else will see that our prices are comparable or cheaper than other hotels in our category, and they will notice that our hotel is recently renovated, well maintained, and our staff is courteous and fair towards all our guests. You're attempt to get even over a $10 charge for damages is childish.

If you like spiders then this is the hotel for you! All ceiling corners in room are filled with webs! Called to ask about parking our truck here while we went on a trip prior to reserving room as we were flying out. They said no problem and we could leave it here for up to two weeks. Upon arrival was told they would not give parking pass nor shuttle to airport as we were promised. Said it would cost un an extra $80.00 Wife could only get bathtub 1/4 full of warm water before it ran cold. Door jam gap let in so much cold air (stayed during winter) the curtains were moving from the breeze. Paint on ceiling is pealing and unpainted in sections where repairs were made. Customer service rep was very unhelpful. NOT RECOMMENDED. PS. Was itchy when I woke up.

Dear guest, We are sorry to hear that you didn't have a good experience in your last stay. There must be a miscommunication when you made the reservation. We never offer free shuttle service because a shuttle's running cost is far beyond a budget hotel's affordability. We do charge $20 per week for Park and Fly if we have spots available. It is not free. All of our front desk agents are well trained. They won't promise anything to our guests that we never offer. Winter is alway the season we do some ongoing maintenance. There are still some rooms need a touch-up, like Patch paining. It is supposed to be done before the coming Spring. You could have actually contacted the front desk to switch to another room if you didn't like it, and our maintenance person would have helped you with the water issue. We didn't get any complain after your stay, so we don't know exactly what issue you mentioned. We are sorry that we can do nothing about your itchy skin, we suggest you see a doctor and figure out the problem. Thank you for your choosing Super 8 Kelowna as your last stay. I was extremely uncomfortable and disappointed by our stay here at this motel. We have stayed here previously and it was affordable and ok, but this time was horrific. We travelled over 8 hours to stay here for a medical appointment. Firstly when we checked into our room there was a door linking us to the next room which a bench blocking it and we could hear everything in the next room, a gentlemen FaceTiming someone and I could hear every word. We immediately asked for another room, which we appreciate we were accommodated for. When we got into the room, it was freezing cold the heat was not on whatsoever, and the toilet wouldn’t flush properly we had to take the lid off everytime and manually flush it ourselves. To top it off it was super noisy, you could hear everything, the highway(we were at the back of the motel), people talking in other rooms, I mean everything. There was a lot of party traffic coming and going all night both nights as well as as we had call security in the middle of the night due to people who were under the influence of drugs and alcohol partying in the parking lot so loud and driving in and out of the parking lots all night circling our vehicle and making us feel extremely uneasy. Our stay was mid week, not the weekend. Lastly, the morning we were checking out we were trying to enjoy breakfast and they have boiled eggs available to eat and I went to crack them open and they were completely raw(day before they were cooked and fine). The two young girls working were super kind and Considerate of how we were feeling and we appreciate them during our stay, but we would never stay here again ever. It was the most uncomfortable, unsafe place we have ever stayed. We never slept a wink. We did mention during our stay all of these issues and they tried to accommodate as best as they said they could, no refund was made or discount or anything of any sort. We were extremely disappointed as we were mostly looking for something comfortable and knew previously we were ok with our stays here, comfort was the last thing we got.

I was more excited about the property being a motel when we checked in then anything. They had more covid restrictions in the area at our time of travel so it was nice to not have to mask up to get into our room. The room was decent. It was clean and easy to get to. The employee at check-in was very pleasant and super excited that we were put by the pool on the first level since we had kids. Only problem was the pool was closed the whole time we were there. The breakfast was a typical continental with cereal/fruit/bread. There was an issue at one breakfast with a little girl spilling some cereal and a staff member was not too happy about it and told her that they don't waist food here and was upset that the parents let this happen even though it was an accident. All in all, I might stay here again when traveling to Kelowna, but it would depend of what the price was compared to other properties. It was just ok with nothing standing out above any others.

Thank you for staying at our hotel. Sorry about the pool being closed for a day and a half. The sky was raining ashes from the nearby wildfires and getting into the pool. This ruins the alkaline balance of the pool water and makes it unsafe. Things are back to normal with the pool at this time. Thank you for the feedback. An older property but kept up pretty well. All the staff we met were friendly, and helpful, all Covid precautions taken seriously and closely following public health orders. Bed was comfy, WiFi was strong and quick. Keurig coffee in the room was a good start and a quick breakfast available with cold HB eggs, fresh fruit, yogourt, hot or cold cereals and toast/bagels and creamcheese/peanut butter/jams. There was room to park your car for the duration of your trip away at a very decent price. Our vehicle was safe and there were no issues. Handy to the airport and easy to find, we'll use this motel style property again.

Stayed a few days when our home was being renovated. Very accommodating for pets and was able to get a main floor room so it was more accessible for them. Appreciated having a microwave and fridge to make meals. Overall, a very nice place to stay, very clean room. This was our third stay at this particular motel and we would stay here again for sure.

I've stayed in this hotel several times. The room has everything you need, TV, microwave, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, coffee machine, etc. The bed is big and comfortable. There is also a swimming pool next to the room, which is really wonderful. Compared to other hotels in Kelowna, super8 offers excellent cost-effective. I will stay here next time!

Hi, We do offer park and fly by appointment at no charge. With one night's stay you can leave your car 2 weeks for free. Additional weeks are $15/week. We do not have our own shuttle, we work with a local shuttle company who charge $15 for one person, one way. $19 for two people one way.
All park and fly reservations must be made with us at property at 1 800 563 0991 as we only have 35 spots available.
