We stayed a week while in the Banff/Jasper area. Our host not only provided a private entrance to our suite, but delicious authentic French cuisine for breakfast. I have a special diet and he did a wonderful job accomodating that need as well. The bed and room were extremely comfortable and beautiful. When we needed help with reservations for an excursion, JD was available with all the info necessary to proceed. This B&B is a must!

Host JD's Room with a View bed and breakfast is the greatest find for accommodations I've ever had! A spacious and comfortable room with private entrance in beautiful Canmore, gourmet breakfasts, and warm hospitality and sight-seeing suggestions from JD to welcome you daily. Cannot recommend this enough to anyone visiting Banff/Canmore area - I hope to return soon!

The hospitality of JD and Juliette made our trip more special and more memorable.
The place was just like the pictures - but better. Very clean and cozy, and the gas fireplace nook in our room allowed me to relax with a book each night before bed. It's also where I finished my cup of coffee each morning.
JD's breakfast was something I looked forward to each morning - we stayed five nights. He and Juliette are experts on the area and helped us come up with our itinerary each day based on weather, time, and energy level. I even challenged them with the task of helping me find big-horned sheep. They gave me three places to try, and I found the sheep on the second stop!
Canmore is an incredibly convenient place to stay if exploring Banff and the nearby national parks. We will definitely be back, and we plan to stay again at Room With a View when we do.

This B&B was a perfect get-away stay for my partner and I. We made plans to go river rafting early in the morning and Jd was very accommodating with making breakfast earlier for us. The food was delicious and the room was beautiful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful stay in Canmore!

Big king size room which has a nice view on surrounding mountains. Every day sheets and towels are changed. Each morning our chef host prepared us a culinary breakfast. Each morning this was completely different and tasty. Would stay there again if in the banff-canmore area.
