My husband and I stayed here in mid-October 2020 for two nights and we had a great stay! It felt super safe, clean and also comfy :)

Mask wearing policy in all common areas and only people from the same party allowed in the elevator at the same time. The pool and hot tub were open but you had to book a one hour time slot ahead of time for you and your party.

As well, the free breakfast was way better than we have expected! There were scrambled eggs or cheese omelette, bacon or sausage patty, and 3 choices for toast (and they offered butter and not just margarine for toast so that was nice). If you didn’t want those things for breakfast they also offered 3 different types of cereals with milk, oatmeal, assorted yogurt cups, granola bars and also 3 different types of fruit. Coffee, tea, milk, OJ and grapefruit juice also available.

The room was nicely decorated, and both the room and bathroom were spacious. They included little bottles of all sorts of bathroom stuff which was handy because I had forgotten to bring my eye make up remover but they had a little pack of them there! Also included was shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, moisturizer, mouthwash, and a mending kit. The bed was comfortable and there was a nice desk area that had a whole bunch of electrical plugs, USB ports, HDMI and RCA hook ups in it so that was super handy!

I highly recommend this place! We would definitely return.

Great hot breakfast, very clean & quiet rooms. Covid precautions were evident thoughout the hotel. The hot breakfast was served to you so no worrying about taking food from a buffet. Seating is well spread out or trays are available to take breakfast to your room.

This is our first time to visit Kelowna with our furry family. Like everyone I would always search reviews before booking accommodations, and I saw the reviews normally 4.4 to 5 would the choice okay. This hotel I would make rating for 4.9 the only problem was the stains from bathroom ceiling and toilet bowl had a little stain but overall the cleanliness inside room is good, and I only stayed for two days, King size bed mattress was comfortable, bed sheets were cleaned and I stayed at ground floor and It was so quiet, it probably the sound proofing between walls are good, the check in staffs were very friendly and efficiently, we loved their breakfast which included (they provided scramble eggs, omelettes, bacons, pork sausages patties, yogurts, milks, apples, oranges, bananas, cereals, pancakes, bagels and toasts were wrapped separately, coffee and tea for 7/24, this was one of the excellent breakfast I have from the same grade accommodations, this hotel location is so convenient and right beside hwy 97, overall I loved this hotel and will stay again if I visit Kelowna.

We were very happy with our 4 nights at Kanata with one exception. Hotel was clean. They took COVID precautions very seriously. Breakfast was good. Location was great.
My only dislike is their policy to charge additional $20/night pet charge for cleaning BUT they do not clean you room (Covid) until you leave. Cleaning the room once for a pet for $20 is one thing but being charged $80 or $60 for additional cleaning done once, in my opinion, is a just money grab.

This is a first for me, I don’t give bad reviews at hotels, I have never experienced such horrible service in a hotel as I did with this hotel. We stayed at the Kanata in Kelowna for four days, and during those four days we did not have any room cleaning of any kind. The garbage accumulated, becoming smelly by day four. The Continental breakfast was terribly organized and the food was horrible. The hot entrees were cold rubbery eggs, a mystery meat patty, after day two, I ate breakfast elsewhere! When the room ran out of coffee pods, I enquired at the front desk if I could get some more coffee pods, the staff at the front desk shrugged me off unable to help. A very kind employee was mopping the floor by the kitchen area, he stopped me and said he would help me and went to the back of the kitchen and brought me a few coffee pods, cream, sugar with a couple of extra cups. I wish I had got this man’s name as I would have said something to management about how he went out of his way to help me.

This hotel is the best I have stayed at over many years of travelling on a bike. The front staff went over and beyond to accommodate any questions about the area and things to do. The housekeeping was quick and thorough... cleanest hotel with a year round indoor pool and hot tub.

They made me feel at home with the added perk of 24 hour coffee made and hot or cold filtered water available in the lobby.
My family and friends will only get a referral to this hotel from us ... mainly do I can keep in touch with the wonderful staff. They even had me park my motorcycle by the front desk window so that they could keep an extra eye on it.

Water in the shower was lukewarm at best on the weekend when the hotel was busier. The towels were like sandpaper.

The bed was not comfy. Had a big dip in the middle and was squeaky when you moved at all.

Breakfast was sub par.

Only one elevator for the executive tower which made getting to and from the room very slow.

Front desk was very professional and accommodating, we were given a quiet room on the other side of the building which was perfect for our little ones. Too bad the slides and pool area was closed but understandable due to the covid situation. Everything else was very clean and sanitized regularly. Will be coming back in the future.

This is my third visit to the Kanata Hotel in the past year - I really like this hotel! Front desk staff are friendly and professional. The rooms have always been very clean and the beds have been comfortable. I always request a room that faces away from the highway and these rooms have proven to be very quiet. Breakfast is included but I have never used this service so cannot speak to the variety or quality of food.
This is officially my “go to” hotel anytime I need to be in Kelowna.

The hotel is in a very central location with convenient access to bus stops, coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. The room was not bad but the housekeeping is notable by it's absence. We had to chase them multiple times to get them to clean our room after 3 days. Toiletries are non existent and the breakfast is very poor, and not much of a choice. The one thing in it's favour is the price as we found it to be best priced hotel for a family of four in a single room with 2 double beds. But in the end, I am not sure that we will stay here again.
