I had the privilege of staying in the Eagles Nest room at Myra Canyon a Ranch with a friend. It was amazing. With a king sized bed we had tonnes of space to sleep. There was also a comfy couch to relax on. The bathroom was a favourite with a large soaker tub and plenty of hot water. It was installed on a bit of a platform so you could even see out the window a little bit. We had access to a barbecue on the deck as well as a small fridge and freezer. The suite was tastefully decorated, simple yet fun. The skylight was a bonus - so much light in the suite during the day and perfect lighting for the evenings. The owners of the property were friendly and always available to answer questions. We LOVED this place and would definitely stay again!

If you want to be floored by hospitality, wowed by nature and Spend your time in a warm comfortable space, this is the place for you-
All for less than you would spend in a regular institutionalized hotel room, Myra Canyon Ranch is a spectacular getaway! After a day that did not go as planned, to find this gem in the woods made the day worthwhile. The views off of the patio are stunning of the entire valley, horses in the backyard and hosts who have been nothing but warm and welcoming.
Throw in a barbecue and patio overlooking the mountains in the city view and a kitchenette as well as a freestanding beautiful soaker tub, and you know you have arrived to your rest and relaxation in heaven. Do yourself a favor and call Rolf and Kathrin to book your stay.

We took advantage of the lower monthly rate to spend six months at Myra Canyon Ranch. I cannot rate this place highly enough, if I could give it 100/5 I would.

Rolf, Kathrin and their family were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. They gave us great advice on local trails and places to visit in the Okanagan, and even helped us jump start our car when we accidentally killed the battery.

The ranch itself was beautiful and immaculately clean and we witnessed on several occasions how committed they are to keeping the units Covid safe.

Our unit, the Eagles Nest, was small but well equipped with everything we needed and the views overlooking the valley were incredible. The best part of the unit by far is the huge bathtub where we spent many happy hours watching the sunset over Lake Okanagan.

We already miss living at the ranch and would strongly recommend a stay for anyone contemplating visiting the area, you won't regret it ☺️

P.S. We also spent two nights in the "Cool Bus" last summer and it was also wonderful. It can get a bit warm overnight and you have to walk down to the barn to use the toilets and shower so don't drink too much before bedtime (!!), but the bus is spacious, comfortable and the views from the "bedroom" windows are amazing. Overall, a very comfortable "camping" experience.

My family and I stayed at the
Myra Canyon Ranch for three days during the Kelowna leg of our journey. We occupied the eagle's nest suite and found it well equipped, fully stocked with everything required to prepare quick and easy meals. The deck is stunning, we spent many hours sitting outside reading, eating our meals and relaxing. The view of the trees, the city and nature are simply stunning. The air is clean and pristine allowing you to breath deeply and relax.

Kathrin, was welcoming and friendly offering excellent advise and suggestions. Her tip about where to access the Myra Canyon trestles, ensured that all members of our party were engaged when exploring the trail.

My family and I will always remember our stay here as the view is permanently etched in our mind.

Myra canyon is a place to see whether on a bike or a walk. Breath taking views and history of the area. The biking is overall pretty flat and can be completed at your own pace. There are two entrances one being Mayra entrance or Ruth’s entrance. The Mayra entrance is definitely busier than the Ruth entrance. Make sure you drive all the way up to the main parking if you are walking but if Biking you can park back at any parking areas. The trestle bridges are a thing from the past as well as the mountain passages. Morning sunshine is beautiful as you glide along. No need to rent a E bike unless you cannot peddle as any bike will really do. The overall ride is 25km which is both directions included. There are washroom facilities along the way but bring water if needed. The chip munks enjoy the peanuts that are offered and will eat out of your hand. The signs and markers are good along the way as well as the information provided. The safety on the trail is pretty good but if you venture off the trail to climb or take pictures you are on your own for hazards.
If you are in the area it definitely is a must do.

We needed a break from it all and definitely got it! Close enough to go into Kelowna for a meal or to hike Knox Mountain. We enjoyed the farm fresh eggs, horseback riding and the local trails. Our room in the lodge was perfect - Beautiful architecture, hot tub, wood burning stove, gorgeous views and very quiet. Kathrin and Rolf were very helpful hosts. We highly recommend staying at the lodge.

We are locals and stayed two incredible nights at Myra Canyon Lodge. Peaceful, gorgeous views of the lake, amazing hospitality, and surrounding nature. The Lodge location got us away from the City and we took advantage of the Myra Canyon tressels right up the hill. There is hiking close by and farmers markets where you can pick up fresh produce on the way up! You drive through gorgeous orchards in east Kelowna and past wineries to get to this little treasure. The accommodation was larger than expected with an incredible deck that overlooked Okanagan Lake and mountains. Our bathroom had two sinks, a huge tub with shower, a spacious dining room, with a well-equipped kitchen, and a large King bed. There was a hot tub on-site which we were able to take advantage of, and very much enjoyed after a 3-hour bike ride. The open floor plan made it feel like our own private Villa in the woods! Thank you to Rolf and Katherine for everything. We will remember our stay fondly.

This is the second year our family of 6 has visited and stayed in the Bear Suite at Myra Canyon Ranch. The first year we stayed for 4 nights and this year we stayed for 11 nights. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces have plenty of room and the views are incredible. The hosts are lovely people who are very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. It is a short distance from the property to the Kettle Valley Railway (KVR) which offers great views either walking or biking. We rented bikes from the ranch and did the KVR. Our kids loved going on trail rides with the horses and interacting with the other animals here. The property is about 20 minutes from the beach and grocery stores, but that is something that we enjoyed as it meant the ranch was very quiet. We loved spending time in the hot tub (only accessible if you rent the Bear Suite) and watching the sunset over Kelowna and Lake Okanagan. We definitely plan to stay again.

We stayed two nights in the studio unit. It was well appointed and in clean condition. Great views of the valley. The small kitchen had everything we needed.
Very comfortable bed. The bath tub shower setup was a challenge but we managed
The owners were very helpful and the checkin and check out went smoothly. The ranch is well situated to the Kettle Valley bike trails. We appreciated the secure storage Ffer our bikes
It was a restfull stay for us without a TV. Wifi coverage was excellent. We did not use the grill setup but it was well setup with a premium BBQ unit.
We would recommend the Myra Canyon Ranch to friends and family. Kingsley and Rowanne

My husband and I spent a weekend in the Eagle's Suite. We were in awe of the amazing views that can be enjoyed from everywhere in the suite, including the bathroom! The accommodation was comfortable and well-designed. Location was ideal for us, as it is a +-10-min drive from the ranch to Ruth Station, where we began the KVR cycling trail. Kathrin and Rolf are so warm and friendly. I will be back for sure!

Good morning from Kelowna! Thanks a lot for your booking - we are looking forward to welcoming you as our guests! Since the 2 suites you've booked are not close to each other I would recommend to modify the booking and take the "Family Suite accessible" instead of the "2-bedroom superior suite". That way both suites are right above each other and you can share the hot tub. Much more fun for everybody ;) You can modify your booking with your agency or cancel with them and do it directly with me. Direct bookings always gets the best rates! Let me know and I'm happy to help! Best regards, Kathrin

Yes there are ! We have 2 French Shepard dogs, Briards, no shedding. In our barn we have 2 cats, but they never enter the house. So the guest suites are completely animal free. I hope this helps ! Rolf

Hello Marilyn, thanks for your message. We have 5 rooms with one bathroom each. Each room sleeps up to 4 people. We have a fully equipped kitchen for our guests and usually when we have groups, we just serve breakfast. Our dining table sits up to 12 guests. Driving distance to downtown Kelowna is 25 minutes. In October we ask 710$+tax per night for up to 10 guests. Every additional guest is 50$ per night. Hope this helps! Best regards, Kathrin
