It was an ok stay. Our total booked stay was for 6 nights stayed for 4 nights. The area was huge and nicely designed. The cabins were just minimalistic. Very shaky!!! On day of arrival clean bed sheets towels and toiletries were provided , but expected it to be cleaned on alternate days.
Only restaurant serving food . Highly priced for limited choice and untidy eating area.

stayed here for 3 nights for my partners birthday, staff were fairly friendly. I thought the superior bungalow was lovely and the shower was fantastic! The tv didnt have any english channels like most countries have a couple but that wasnt a problem as we have phones and ipads in this day and age. The heater in the bungalow was really good too always warmed up quite quickly. We went out of season so pool wasnt open which was fine as we only used the site to sleep as we were out exploring all day.

We didnt eat in the restaurant on site as we would only swing there for a drink and game of pool after we'd been in main city all day. 11.50 euro for a bottle of rose' bargain. We also had breakfast included which we tried on the first morning, there was a buffet table set up with all fruits, cereals etc but we were told we were only entitled to a crossant and hot drink or juice. (slightly annoying as im gluten intolerant and would of only wanted a piece of fruit) this wasnt cleary stated anywhere. I grabbed a cup of tea which was served in a glass but dont think its popular over there. My partener did love the crossant though and ended up with a second helping as i coudnt eat mine so he was happy. :) Had breakfast in some nice cafes the last 2 mornings closer to the city.

In terms of location its very good. Bus stop right outside which if you jump on the 246 or 247 takes you straight to the metro. We got a 48 hourticket which is for all public transport for like 12 euro. There is also a supermarket, mcdonalds and a steak house just across the road.

All in all great place to stay to go exploring.

We stayed for 4 nights and would return. It's a caravan park, so if caravan sites aren't your scene this isn't for you. We've had many a caravan hol in the uk and this was great. Caravan was basic but clean and tidy with v comfy beds. Great air con. With 4 of us, went for chalet caravan as it has a fridge and gas burners. Other options don't have kitchenette. Big supermarket over the road so can make quick snacks or meals. If you're used to caravan hols, you'll know you'll need washing up liquid/ tea towels etc. Loo roll, sheets and towels provided.

Ok, it's a bit out of town but with a bus stop right outside and a 24hr travel ticket it was so easy to manage our trips (thank you Google maps!) Reception very busy but helpful with all our questions - there's a ticket system in place . Restaurant ok - seemed short on staff. Really enjoyed the pool and having space on site when back from the hustle and bustle of the city. Have stayed in apartments in other places while on this trip and, while nice, the kids enjoyed going out to play basketball etc and have a bit of space. Temp check on arrival, face masks expected.

Checked in very quick after a quick temperature check and the very kind security took us up to our bungalows in a golf buggy. Impressed with the bungalow which more than met our needs excellent air con and a safe was a bonus. Ok you make your own beds and cleaners never came the 4 nights we stayed which wasn't a problem we made our own bed and they leave extra sheets if you require clean ones. Onsite restaurant which we didn't use as we ate in Rome most the time. Excellent supermarket over the other side of the carriageway which sells anything you need fresh bread, meats, fish, pasta etc. All bungalows have there own outside picnic bench for alfresco dining.
Now the bit that could be better the swimming pool area is fantastic but should be no smoking as the Italians just put the dumps anywhere and it doesn't look like it gets swept. If this could be improved it would be fantastic. Must mention the supermarket has a great selection of beers and wines. If your getting the bus into Rome I would advise using the 247 drops you close to the Vatican City €3 return. The 246 stops a bit further away . Used taxis as well from the centre of Rome which were €18
All in all wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and the prices at the minute are fantastico

We arrived at Roma camping in town on weds after a very long journey. The woman on reception was extremely dismissive and not very helpful when we asked questions.

The room that we stayed in was not what was advertised when we booked and there was cheaper accommodation of a higher quality on booking.com. There were no cooking facilities, no kettle and the walls were so thin we were able to hear the people in the next room farting. Neighbours at night were loud and inconsiderate.

The campsite is 30 minutes outside of Rome, I strongly advise to get the 247 bus just outside the campsite into Rome, on your return you need to get the bus back at the bus depo which is just around the corner from where you got off. You can buy tickets from the information box. The train station is literally a 5 minute drive, again you can get the 247 on the opposite side of the road and the ticket machine at the station is really easy to use.

The supermarket on the other side of the road honestly sells the most amazing food. We bought our lunches from there and even our dinner on the first night. We saved so much money doing this.

The pizza in the restaurant was brilliant. The staff were rude and grumpy and didn’t want to be there.

The rooms and the facilities are exceptionally beautiful, and everything cleaned up to a very good standard. The staff are polite enough.
We were in a deluxe bungalow: the beds were not made on arrival, but it wasn’t a problem for us since towels and bedsheets were provided. There was no fridge o minibar in the room, though.
A supermarket and a McDonald’s crossing the street, and bus stop right in front of the hotel, taking you to Vatican city in 20-25 min.
Overall, a great experience. We would like to stay again if we go back to Rome, and we would recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a deluxe bungalow, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the air conditioning was great in the 37 degree heat! The fridge was very small but big enough to hold water and a few beers. Top tip is to hire or take a travel kettle as well as some cups alway plastic plates and cutlery to make sandwiches etc in the room. The site is in a lovely setting once you are away from the main road. It is uphill from reception, access up a few flights of stairs. The pool area was great, lots of places to sit and find shade. It doesn’t open until 10am so you don’t have people holding sun beds from the crack of dawn. The lifeguard was brilliant, helped everyone to find somewhere to sit and kept the pool area really clean. All staff were helpful and friendly. The supermarket on site was ok but there is a large supermarket a 5 minute walk away over a bridge across the main road with lots of selection and where the bread was much fresher. We didn’t use public transport/ shuttles to get into Rome, but Ubered at an average cost of 18 euros each way, which took about 15mins and for 3 of us was not much more expensive than shuttling and much easier. The on-site restaurant was delicious and reasonable. The pool side bar offers hot snacks such as pizza, sandwiches, fries, burgers etc but is not open until 12 so the only option for food onsite until then was the buffet breakfast which wasn’t to our personal taste but was always very busy. There are alternative places to eat within walking distance including the famous fast food restaurant that feels wrong mentioning in a place like Rome! There was a live band on 2 of the 5 evenings we stayed which was good. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Liked · The location is good and well linked by bus to the main underground stations. It is a good place to stay outside the City Centre if you want to be away from all the crowed areas; breakfast is excellent too. There is also a very good supermarket just opposite the main road.

Disliked · I stayed with my wife and 11 year old daughter in the Deluxe Bungalow for 7 nights between the 18th and 25th of October 2022. The facilities are ok, shower, sink, toilet and air conditioning worked fine but each two Deluxe Bungalows are attached to each other which means that you have to be very lucky to have good neighbours staying next to you for the time you stay there. For three nights we had a group of few young girls, in their early twenties, staying in the Bungalow next to us. They were very loud; played very loud music in the open area outside the Bungalow until midnight for two nights in a row; they arrived in the Bungalow, after their night out, at 03:00 am ish for three nights in row and were extremely loud. We could not sleep well for three nights out of seven. I reported it to the reception and to the night security but they didn't do much about it. There were lots of teenagers and young adults staying there at the same time we stayed in the camping and there were loud parties every night across the place. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, I don't think Roma Camping in Town is the right choice.

just got back on the 10th of june 2022 had 5 days at the camp. Myself and my daughter arrived in the afternoon We had a superior bungalow with fridge. The room was very clean and all bedding and towels were present. The site was clean and tidy, pool was great. Used the on site restaurant 3 nights and did breakfast 4 mornings found it good for the money. Cant praise the place enough. Quite far from Rome and the busses and metro were very time consuming although you can buy a 24 hour ticket on site for all transport for 7 euros. We did do the bus and metro but opted more for taxis, to get to the Trevi fountain or the Vatican city budget about 20-25 euros each way, make sure you only pay what is on the meter plus tip if you wish, we did get conned by a couple of taxi drivers but in general it was a easy way to go if you have the budget. Rome is certainly a place to go if you love architecture and the shopping was good too. would recommend the site for families and short stays also dog friendly. We found the staff to be ok. We didnt experience too much noise but people were allowed to check in late at night. In conclusion we had a very pleasent stay and thought it was value for money.

Drove to the site in a hire car and found it easy find. Somehow at reception we were not given a key to the accommodation and had to return to be able to get in. The main room consisted of 2 single beds, shelf, 2 seat sofa bed (suitable for a child), sink unit and shelf. Off this we're toilet and walk-in shower. It gave the impression of being half a caravan without the kitchen and living area. Each unit is semi-detached and shares if you are lucky a 4 seat bench and table. There is 1 flimsy clothes drier between about 8 bungalows if you can find and get one. You are told you xan park outside but if the bungalow opposite is parked outside there is no room for cars to get through. The site helpfully sells all types of travel tickets but be warned the only bus running is once an hour. On all days it is a free for all to get in the bus when it arrives with the younger travellers more likely to rush to the few seats. Pool crowded most of the time, bar noisy and nonouse curfew with wheeled cases going past all night and partying well into the early hours, whilst the walls of the bungalows are so thin you can hear people talking in the bungalow opposite.
