Nice room with everything a couple would need. There isn't really space for more than that. All the modern features you want. Great roof pool and the staff were super friendly. A few minor issues with the fit and finish of the room that we just lived with ( the temp valve in the shower broke, the kitchen toe kick plate fell off and the tim piece from the microwave fell off when we used it). The maintenance guys fixed the shower but I suspect the other items were pushed back into service without being fixed properly. Great location and the views are nice from the front.

ChicTini is a boutique resort catering to adults in the heart of the PV Romantic Zone. Sleek and modern, ChicTini’s main units are modified studio+ sized, with full kitchen, bath, w/d in unit, open concept living/kitchen/deck for two. Tiny (Tini?), but efficient. The daily housekeeper, Juana, was friendly, thorough and efficient. She was here during our November 2021 stay and our January 2022 visit. Nice to see familiar faces when we return. Our unit had stunning views of Banderas Bay, fun watching humpback whales during daylight and seeing city lights at night. The rooftop pool is fabulous and ChicTini lounge have an evening happy hour with half price specials, offering the best view of sunset.

This is our fifth stay at the Pinnacle's Puerto Vallarta property having previously stayed at both 180 and 220. In fact, over the years we just automatically book there for our annual visit because we like it so much. While we were there last year, we were excited to see 179 going up, hoping it would be open for our annual February visit. Naturally, we were excited to hear they would be open in time for our stay.
This is where the disappointments responsible for my poor rating start. Irritation number one: They offered three room options: street view, partial ocean view, and ocean view. We opted for the most expensive (ocean view) because those sunsets are a big reason we come to Puerto Vallarta every year. We received a room on the fourth floor on the north side of the building, which seemed strange since the rooms on the front of the building had a much better ocean view. Our view was not bad but you did have to sit sideways on the balcony to see the bay and our straight out view was the green roof of the building next door. Over the course of the week, I got more and more angry as we came up the stairs and saw people sitting side by side on their balconies looking straight ahead at that great view. When I checked out, I said I believed we had not been given the room we had paid for since a room on the side of the building is by definition a partial ocean view. The manager came over and looked at things for about ten minutes and said, no, that is classified as an ocean view room. I asked her how they could charge the same rate and give the same description to rooms on the front of the building as those on the side? No real answer to that. So buyer beware. I would not spend the extra $20/night (plus taxes) for any room that is not on the front of the building.
Irritation number two: Every afternoon when we came up from the beach to relax before dinner, there was a strong raw sewage smell in the room. NOT emanating from the bathroom or outdoors. It smelled like it was coming from the kitchen drain. It was gone by the time we returned from dinner every night and only present in the afternoon, but thank God for the balcony.
Irritation number three: "Is this your first stay with us?" I'm nobody special, but you would think it to be a good business practice to know a couple/family that has stayed on your property for a week every February for five of the last seven years and three of the last three would at least be in a database.

This was our 5th year at these condo's but probably our last. Condo's are very nice, staff are courteous, and amenities are great at this building but we were very disappointed with which room we ended up with and how they handled our dissatisfaction. They do not allow you to reserve a specific condo by room # and only allow choice of ocean or mountain view, 1 or 2 bedroom, and with or without soaker tub on balcony. We reserved a one bedroom with a soaker tub on the balcony and ocean view. We secured this reservation one year in advance because those rooms with soaker tubs are on the higher floors which offer a better view and are much more quiet from town noise. Months after they accepted the reservation and charged our credit card for that room, they wrote us to let us know the soaker tub was being removed from the balcony and they could only offer us $20/night credit towards lounge charges. We were not thrilled but didn't have much choice at that point so accepted it. When we arrived and were checking in, we were placed in a room on the 2nd floor that never had a soaker tub (we were familiar with that room). We immediately let them know this and explained that the reason why we reserved a room with a soaker and a year in advance was to avoid exactly this. We reminded them that they told us the soaker tub was being removed from the balcony of our room which we now know wasn't true because they admitted that the condo owner with the soaker tub that we reserved decided to cancel our reservation several months after accepting it. We asked for a room on 3rd floor or higher but they told us there was nothing they could or would do. Don't get me wrong, our stay was ok but we don't appreciate how they handled this and the fact they refuse to allow reservations for specific condo's because this allows them to just move your reservation around as they see fit. Also, while we were checking out we found out we hadn't used up the whole lounge credit but they said they were not able to credit our visa the difference and recommended we attend the lounge and quickly drink the difference before the cab arrived. Tempting...but we just left it. Would prefer to book with a company that is willing to commit in advance to exactly which room we are reserving.

Great experience. The rooms were spotless, the maid service came every day leaving the room spotless. Great location and friendly staff. Be sure to check out the pool and bar. The vehicular is helpful to get to and from the beach

The Pinnacle resort was very nice and the staff were all very helpful. The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels and Jovita kept the other items they provide resupolied as needed.

We have stayed at Pinnacle 220 before and loved it. 179 has better views, especially from corner rooms and rooftop pool. Our room had full sliding-glass doors on two sides that open main room up like a lanai. Staff are extremely attentive and make you feel at home. We appreciate their strict security measures that keep the place relatively quiet.

We've stayed here before and will do so again. The location is ideal for our taste, in walking distance of our favorite restaurants and of the beach. The room we stayed in (and the whole facility) was clean and well-furnished. The rooftop pool and bar has a great view and very good service; Veronica even made us some fantastic custom cocktails and mocktails. It was a very positive experience overall (and reasonably priced). The only thing I didn't like was the quality of the toilet paper, which was cheap and very rough. This won't matter to everyone, but next time I'm bringing my own.

I can not speak more highly of my stays at Pinnacle 179! Get a room with a sweeping ocean view and you will feel like you are sitting on top of the world. The suites themselves are amazing with a fully euipped kitchen, balcony to hang out on and sitting area separate from the sleeping area, both with large screen tvs. Bathrooms are spacious and well appointed AND they also have a washer and drier!
The staff, from front door to housekeeping are wonderful, anxious to accommodate and very friendly.
The rooftop pool area is truly breathtaking. Its hard not so want to spend all your free time up there. The staff is friendly and anxious to offer you some great beverages or a nice variety of food options.
Lastly, the front desk staff couldnt be more accommodating, lead by manager, Brenda. What ever you need will be handled with a smile and you will truly feel like you just want to stay here forever!
