If this is not what you are searching for, then you need a new compass. Wildwood was brilliantly located to enjoy the delights of Bowen Is. The heritage cabin is not just vintage on the outside, but interior loaded with detail and even classic first editions of tales of cabin life and woodland philosophy. Cabin comes with v nice coffee and espresso maker; great whiling away the time on the sturdy veranda, whilst my son went to collect eggs from the chicken run with Reg. We didn’t have time for the wood sauna unfortunately, but are still buzzing about the view from the top of the cabin’s personalised trail . But what’s more important than all the great amenities and child friendliness, is the fab hosts Saskia & Reg, whose local knowledge and hospitality, gave us the best two days of the year

We stayed in Wildwood Cabin #1 for three nights last June for my birthday. It did not disappoint! Our cabin was perfect, sparkling clean, equipped with everything we could ask for and need. Reg was an amazing host, providing fresh coffee and eggs. The view uptop is absolutely spectacular, grab a bottle of wine and watch an amazing sunset. This was our first time on Bowen island and it definitely won't be our last. Thank you for the amazing hospitality Reg and family!

These cabins are my kind of camping! Don't expect a 5 star hotel but a really comfortable alternative to camping. Our cabin had 2 floors, a fully equipped kitchen, lots of room, plenty of bedding & most of the comforts of home. Conrad was very friendly yet totally left us alone. My son fell asleep right before check out & he had no problem with us leaving late. It's located a few kms from town so a car is a must. A couple blocks away, the Ruddy Potato has a lovely little cafe that I wish I found before our last day. Great lunch spot to bring the kids! Anyway, I would totally recommend Wildwood as a great home base while exploring Bowen.

We went to Bowen Island for a wedding and we stayed in a 1 bedroom cottage at Wildwood Lane. The property is stunning and the cottage was lovely. The cottage was cozy and romantic and had everything you could need including a full kitchen, tv, internet and enough room to comfortably sleep at least 5 people (easily!). It was so beautiful and quiet that I found myself wishing my trip was longer than just a few days.

My only complaints
- The shower was really small and the water pressure was poor
- A steep driveway and a hill and stairs to get to the cottage

These issues however were minor and probably won't bother most people. I was 7 months pregnant at the time. I definitely plan to go back in the future. Next time we will book a longer stay and we will bring our child and dog with us. I can't wait!

Our first Air BnB experience couldn’t have been better. Easy booking, met with Reg the owner on arrival. Beautiful log cabins that are thoughtfully equipped. Fresh eggs, cream and coffee on arrival. Kitchen well stocked with top quality
Appliances, pots and pans etc.
Comfy bed in a lovely loft. Wake to the sun streaming in. Enjoy your evening up top watching the sunset sitting on the supplied Arondack chairs and top off your evening at the fire pit. Very cute and cozy. Dog friendly and super friendly hosts.

What a great place to stay! Friendly and helpful hosts in Saskia and Conrad, a beautiful woodland setting with great views of Mount Gardner. Well appointed kitchen and bathroom and nice gallery bedroom. Not luxurious - but suited us fine. The location is up a steep drive - say, 200 meters - and the cabins have stairs to access. The bdroom is also up steep stairs - so you need to be pretty agile! There is one smaller level access cabin without the stairs issue. We stayed for six days and would definitely stay again. Hot tub available.
