We stayed in Melian for 6 nigths and would like to return. The location is perfect on a rocky peninsula just 200 m from the sandy beach of Polonia. The room was excellent and the view unforgettable especially at sunset. The service was perfect and I need to mention especially Thanasis that took every care to make our stay in the hotel unforgettable providing also many tips for the island. The breakfast was plentiful but we would appreciate some variety on the items from day to day. We highly recommend this hotel.

This is a small hotel therefore the staff is on point with every detail. The hotel is very clean and looks just like the pictures online. We stayed in the penthouse superior which was nice because it is on the top floor. The rooms on the bottom look nice but they are next to the lobby/pool/"restaurant" area so when the hotel is full you might hear people.
The pool is not really a pool, its a spa size. The tables and couches offer an amazing view of the ocean and sunset.
Breakfast is served whenever you want it-in your room or outside with the views.
There is a small bar area with nice choices of wine/liquor.
There are many restaurants in a 10 minute walk to the marina however I recommend renting a car to explore the island. You can get from one end to the other in about 20/30 minutes- depending on traffic.
overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Exceptional staff, beautiful hotel and excellent location.

This hotel is beyond perfect. The views are absolutely incredible. The atmosphere is calm, comforting, and peaceful. The staff are absolutely amazing! With only 14 rooms, a restaurant, cocktail bar, and breakfast included (with the choice of it being served in your room or on the patio overlooking the sea), you really have the best of it all. Pollonia is a beautiful little town only 15-20 minutes from Adamas port. My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and stayed in the honeymoon suite - I will just say that I doubt I will ever have a better experience at any other hotel!

Stylish interiors, charming, friendly staff, excellent location in the pretty seaside town of Pollonia.
Our room was spacious and airy with an outside terrace overlooking the turquoise sea and where we had a delicious breakfast every morning. A hammock and jacuzzi add to the feeling of blissful relaxation.
Nearby is the poor area and the spot for drinks and snacks. We did not use it much as we prefered to spend the days in our terrace with the amazing view. We used the spa services as the rates were very good compared to other locations. The massages are really worth every penny.

Milos is truly a gem of an island and Melian Boutique Hotel with its amazing staff made our time absolutely wonderful. Rooms are very well appointed with breakfast offered either on your personal balcony or the hotel terrace. The welcome prosecco was such a nice greeting. Tania at the front desk arranged all transfers and maintained communication both before and on arrival to the island. She guided us in all the "must sees and dos" which included time in their spa with a terrific massage. From Klima to the Lunar beach of Sarakiniko, I would go back in a heartbeat!!

We travel a bit and I can honestly say that there are few instances in my worldwide travel where the staff at even very luxury hotels have been this good. Yes, the property scores points on luxury, location, view (we had a junior suite), breakfast for sure. Downside is that there is no gym and/ or a general hot tub or swimming pool. Anastis and his team definitely take care of you from the bigger planning your trip stage, to going out of their way to take care of every tiny little detail that you may require to make your stay comfortable. Enough said, just go and stay here and you will not regret it. Milos is beautiful, just make sure that you do rent a car, and moreover just let Melian take care of that for you.

This was the perfect retreat. Tucked away overlooking a bay on the south side of Pollonia, with great views from bedroom balcony and the terrace below. Very peaceful. Wonderfully spacious and stylish public areas with unusual and stylish artworks, great staff and within easy reach of all parts of the island. Nowhere more than 30 minutes away. Milos itself was a revelation. Laid-back and blessed with spectacular coastal scenery. Some of the best beaches are within 10 minutes by car. Decent breakfast; original and delicious cocktails. Extremely comfortable beds. The only quibble is that the bathroom in the deluxe room was cramped. Although ten years old the hotel looks brand new - immaculate throughout. Highly recommended.

Melian boutique hotel & spa meets all the expectations one could have. Location wise, it is in walking distance to Pollania center as well as to the pier where daily boat rentals are parked.
Hotel’s patio provides a hot tub along with loungechairs and facing the exquisite view of sunset.
The gastronomy is utterly exceptional. It can easily compete with the very best croissants and cafe americains with various Parisien cafes. Lunch and dinner menus although some might find a little bit limitted in terms of variety, are so creative and delicious. Seabass Carpacio and Shrimp Ceviche are so tasteful.
The rooms ( we have stayed both in superior and penthouse rooms) very comfortable and accommodating. My only comment would be in regards to decoration. The furnitures could have been more modern, updated and resembling the nature of the island.
Special thanks to Dora, Tania, Sergio, Nikos and other valuable friendly and helpful staff who made our stay extremely pleasant.
I highly reccomend this Hotel.

Wow! We just loved everything about this place. The location is spectacular with views right on the ocean, but the staff really puts this venue up above the rest. This was our first visit to Milos and we had to rely heavily on staff recommendations. From what to do, where to eat, how to navigate car rentals, dinner reservations, and even TV remote controls, they were there for us. The dinner recommendations were our favorite! Great food with reasonable prices. Thanks for your contribution in making our trip a 10 out of 10. We will miss the outstanding breakfasts and seeing Sergio every day.

Perfect location for sunset, close to upscale Pollonia with so many diverse restaurants that offer Greek Nouvelle cuisine. Great service , very kind owner, beautiful architecture of the hotel, on the veranda of it you feell like being on a yacht.
Nothing is impossible for Dimitra, booking sunbeds, restaurants, thank you to all the other that offer great service with a smile.

If I remember correctly, breakfast starts at 7.00 or so - they give you a card to fill in your breakfast preferences and the time you wish it served and it is brought to your balcony if you so wish.
