My family of six were comfortable in the suite. Rooms clean. Rooftop pool amazing. Breakfast was so good. Loved the balcony. Security on site added comfort. Outdoor sidewalks were spotless. Great location on the river walk. Will stay here again!

This hotel is in a great location right on the Riverwalk (just down from the most touristy part). It doesn't have many rooms that actually view the Riverwalk but access is really easy from the ground floor.
We had a one bedroom suite on the top floor which was cheaper than similarly described rooms in other hotels. The living area was just big enough to unfold a sofabed, and a fire door lead out to a long, private balcony. However you couldn't see over the balcony wall so no view. Great rooftop pool, laundry facilities.
Free breakfast was a plus but it would be great if Drury considered the more environmental option of using china plates, glasses etc instead of plastic, plastic, plastic. Drury seems like a great chain with a really good ethos apart from this, and it shows with excellent staff service and happy guests.
In the lifts and common areas people were chatty and all smiles -- you don't see this everywhere. One lift was out of service when we were there and there was a sense of amused solidarity on the stairs. Good parking facilities.
A perfect spot for a happy few days in San Antonio.

+1
My daughter’s college basketball team was in town for a tournament and all 30+ who stayed there, from the trainer, players, coaches and parents loved the stay. My husband and I stayed down the street, but my daughter stayed, we paid for the room and spent a lot of time between games, in the evenings, in the conference rooms, etc... All staff we came across was friendly and accommodating to us and the team! The only complaint I heard a few times was about the elevator being slow. The best things: very clean and beautiful, free popcorn and pop, free appetizers in the evening with 3 free cocktails for those of age, and free breakfast! Beds were comfortable too! This hotel sits right on the Riverwalk. So accessible to everything!

The Good: 1. Nice staff, all very friendly and attentive. 2. Great location on the Riverwalk. 3. Rooms were clean and functional. 4. Nice to have snacks and drinks and breakfast—I know families with children appreciate this
The Bad: 1. Major construction site next door means that at 7am you will hear banging and beeping and yelling. Not peaceful during the day if you’re thinking of working in your room or just relaxing.
2. Gym is barely a gym..no mirrors (who ever heard of no mirrors in a gym? How can I check my posture/form while using the free weights?) 2 out of the 5 cardio machines were broken. 3. No antibacterial/cleaning wipes or hand sanitizer in the gym until I asked for it on 2 separate occasions and then a plastic container of surface wipes appeared.
3. Elevator is broken and didn’t appear that anybody was working to fix it. People were waiting in line for the elevator or trudging up the stairs, which I did not mind, but not good for guests with disabilities!
The ugly: CoronaVirus is spreading! Drury Inn Corporate needs to make some immediate decisions and modifications to the very germy breakfast buffet and the evening buffet. I suggest only letting employees serve the food so they can wear rubber gloves and make sure nobody breathes on the food. A hundred people grabbing the same serving spoon is a recipe for disaster. People reaching their hands into the popcorn machine? No thank you. Management: Time to level up on germ control and sanitation. I hope that Drury Inn managers are working on these policies ASAP.

The Drury Inn & Suites San Antonio Riverwalk is pretty much a perfect location for seeing the Riverwalk and Alamo. Also, it's not too far from the Market Square where there are a few restaurants and tons of shopping. My wife and I found our room to be very nice and also very clean. The breakfast was also very good, and they offer a "happy hour" with free drinks and food each evening. The only negative thing I can say about the hotel is about the cleanliness of the public areas (stairwell, elevators, etc.) The were less clean than expected and it was obvious they needed some TLC.

This was a beautiful old hotel and was pretty clean. The bathroom could've been a bit cleaner, as some of the grout on the tile could've used a good scrubbing. The food was delicious as well, and the service was impeccable. However, potential stayers should realize this building is crammed in to the downtown. Our upper floor room was very dark, and we looked out on another wall of a hotel about 20 feet away. I don't know how you'd specify not getting a room facing another buildling. We didn't see any "terrace" rooms which we had noticed were available for an extra fee. The buidling is also very secure as you need your card key to enter all facilities and even the front door. The beautiful Riverwalk is right out the door, though that also means that the homeless who live there are also there. We never felt unsafe but just be aware. The rooftop pool was very nice with a great view and very clean water. Finally, we see that many complained about the "tight" parking garage. We have a compact-mid sized SUV and had no trouble at all. If you have a large truck or SUV, though, forget it.

I had a nice stay at the Drury Inn & Suites San Antonio Riverwalk. The hotel is perfectly located right next to the Riverwalk and in walking distance to all the important sites. The Hotel also serve free food and 3 alcoholic drinks in the evenings between 5.30 - 7 PM, which was a great touch. The rooms are big and beds are comfortable - the only issue I had was that the Wi-Fi wasn't great in the room. Couldn't connect from the desk only when I was sitting in bed. There is also a nice parking lot attached to the hotel but please be aware that it costs $16 + tax for parking, which I wasn't aware of.

Great location, easy access to the River-walk and the mall. The Suite with the terrace had a great view. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Ours had a wet bar with a coffee maker and refrigerator. Breakfast was okay, typical free breakfast off eggs, waffles, cereal, toast, coffee and juice, but but was all fresh. In the evening they serve complimentary light dinner with cocktails. They have fresh popcorn and soft drinks free all day. On site self parking was very convenient and cost less than others in the area. Building was very secure. Only down side was only 1 operational elevator, but it didn't seem to hinder us much as the hotel was not very busy.

This was the best bed with the best pillows I've had in many years. I slept really well, which is one of the major criteria for a hotel. They have free drinks and something you can make a meal of in the early evening and free hot breakfast in the morning so it really is good value for money. Because this is a historic building, our room was a little quirky but we were very happy with it. It is also in a great location, not in the middle of things but just on the edge so if you want to avoid the crowds a bit you can. They have free parking for guests, although they are a little small for big SUVs. Overall, a great experience.

First tine we have stayed at a Drury Inn. It was right on the Riverwalk so easy to get to. Very easy access from the parking garage to our floor to carry bags in and parking was a great price for the area. Our room faced the Riverwalk although I wish I paid the extra for a balcony as we had great weather. The hot morning breakfast was great with a good selection. The kickbacks at 530 with 3 drinks and the light snacks was worth going to as saved is a dinner bill. All the staff were excellent and polite with anything we needed. The only downside I could find was one of the elevators was not working so if you had to wait it could be a bit. We were on the 3 rd floor so used the stairs.
Overall a great reasonable place to stay on the Riverwalk and a great first impression to me for Drury Inns.
Great job.

Good morning and thank you for your question. We have coffee makers that use coffee pods (the small packets of coffee surrounded by the filter), not the Keurig kind. We only serve Kelso Brothers Coffee, our own roast created by Royal Cup Coffee and Tea. This is described as a "full-bodied" roast. You may prefer bringing your preferred roast with you to use in our coffee maker.
Please let us know if we can assist you in any other way. Thank you for choosing Drury Hotels!
