This was my 1st time traveling outside of the US for my birthday and the Ocean Coral & Turquesa WAS AMAZING!! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Due to a series of delayed flights we arrive after midnight and they still greeted us and were willing to do what they could to make us comforatble. The bartenders were very knowledgeable and were pure amazement to interact with! My FAVORITE bartender had to be Jesus!! He was one of a kinda and I never once had a disappointing drink. The restaurants had a wonderful selection of foods which were FRESH daily. The scenary is beautiful and the resort always had some activity or event happening so it was never short on entertainment! They also sang for my birthday dinner and I loved every second! I highly recomment this resort!
The only downside was our room's AC wasnt consistent but they quickly sent someone to check it whenver we called. The other rooms we booked did not have this issue so dont let this sway you! I mean its already hot in cancun so it gave us all the more reason to wear bathing suits!! LOL

The service is great! One of the best services I have ever received at a resort, the people are happy always smiling and always eager to serve you. While tipping is not required please tip these people they work hard to make sure you have everything you need.
The pools and grounds are clean and well maintained, very beautiful, the entertainment is not exceptional but we are not party people so we are okay with peace and quiet.
The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. I’m not a picky person so as long as I have a decent bed and a clean shower I’m good to go.
The food and drinks were excellent there is plenty to eat and drink at all hours.
Now the reason why I gave 4 start instead of 5 the beach, even thought I’d not the resorts fault the beach is dirty and it smells bad from the seaweed, there is people working on it constantly but it seems like it never stops, I feel like they do everything they can. If you are a beach person like I am this is a big disappointment. Other than this I will recommend this resort because is not their fault that Mother Nature is retaliating against the human race.

I arrived at the hotel early in the morning and had a Perfect, friendly and informative check in with Alberto and Radamez.
In the Lobby i met Jose Luis, Don Luis and Manuel from privilege and they were just the kindest and most helpful staff ever!
I enjoy the big breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet, themed restaurants and all the pools and the beautiful beach!
In the night I enjoyed the wonderful shows and parties of the entertainment team Indy, Roy, Charlie, Ileana, Mario, Emilio and Vianney.
The lady in charge of the Guest Service, Nalelly, was super helpful for further information, very friendly.
My checkout with Jose went quick and friendly.
All In all I would definitely come back to this hotel when I get the chance. The beach and pools were stunning, most friendly staff and perfect rooms. Loved my stay!

A return visit to Ocean Coral after five years. Check-in was very slow, and they offer a "free" breakfast to tour the facility. Just say "no" firmly, and they leave you alone. Nightly entertainment in the lobby, an ice cream shack, and stage/seating by the waterfall have been added since our last visit. They offer a free shuttle to Playa del Carmen each day and several activities. Service was excellent, food was good, our favorite restaurant being the Japanese, Sensai. Our least favorite restaurant was the Mexican. Estrella did an outstanding job keeping the drinks flowing on the beach. She performed her job wonderfully, with a smile and great personality. Seaweed is still present on the beach, but they do a great job of clearing it several times a day. We were in Building 3, close to the quiet pool and covered walkway. Very convenient location. Would definitely return.

Hi. Yes there is a kids club. Can’t say if it is any good as our kids were 16 and 14 however the entertainment staff were one of the better things at the hotel so my guess would be that it is good. There is adults entertainment every night. It’s ok but is free and is more enthusiastic than talented but it’s fun and something to watch as you relax with a drink or two

The entertainment varies by day. While we were there during the day the kids have the daisy club to do crafts, games, and pool activities and the adults had games on the afternoons at the pool. At night the kids had bubbles and movies in the early evening and the adult had entertainment later. We had games, bingo, trivia, karaoke, live music, fire show, variety show. Nothing was the same every night but it was always good

There is a bowling alley, an outdoor venue that which almost daily consists of either karaoke, small band, or some other dj hosted event that involves the audience. There is also a theater there but we didn't attend.
The adult pool has interactive activities and music with a dj.
