Write a reviewThis hotel has everything that makes a city break a great experience. Situated in a residential area, not far from the tourist areas of the city with great restaurants within walking distance. It is clean and has a great terrace area at the front where you can enjoy morning coffee and decent tapas with a drink in the evening.
The staff is very friendly, special mention to Maria and Mo at the restaurant/bar service and Nadia in reception. They were absolutely amazing.
The only reason I don’t give the 5 star is because the rooms are a bit dated and need a touch of live & attention.
I will be coming back on my next trip to Barcelona.

We traveled in October 2018. The staff was very helpful and nice. The room was cleaned each day. In the bathroom you could find shampoo and shower gel. You have to bring with you slippers, the hotel didn't provide. Regarding the breakfast very good, tasty and diversified. The beer lovers, I recommend you to drink beer from the bar/restaurant, because is cheaper then from the mini bar (room). The hotel is located like 5 min walk from the train station; and you will reach like in 12 min to the Plaça Catalunya.
We had the flight in the night, so the staff was very kind to let us to leave our luggage in the hotel.

Stayed here for the last 4 days and can’t fault the hotel. Yes it is very simple With small rooms and basic furniture, but everywhere’s very clean and the staff are really helpful. The breakfast is continental with some hot options (bacon and scrambled eggs during our stay) and in a very small dining area. There is a bar within the hotel which is very reasonably priced.
Location is good, with approx 15 minutes walk to L’illa Diagonal (a shopping centre) and similar walk to the tour bus stops nearby. The area around the hotel feels very safe at night - we are 2 women alone and never once felt uneasy walking around at night.
Would definitely return if I were on a budget trip again.

The room was clean, the staff was very nice. The major problem was that there is a bar in the hotel that has tables and chairs right outside of the entrance, under the rooms. At night, people always go to that area and proceed to talk and laugh and be loud until early morning, making it close to impossible to sleep. The bar, or at least that area, should be closed at night so the guests aren't bothered.
Other than this, the stay was very nice, the neighbourhood is very calm and cloise to public transportation.

Hotel is 30 minutes walk from the center. Looks like being situated in silent area, but you can enjoy permanent noise of motorbikes and almost every early morning the garbage cars as the containers are just in front of the hotel. Rooms are old and some parts are in bad condition especially electric instalation. TV set in my room emited sparks in electric plug. Lihgts above a bed are low, so you can awake and hit them by head. Also lamp are just holded thanks to God. Don't touch them. Wifi in the hotel is weak and restart of modem doesn't improve it. You can open one or two pages, not more. The hotel serves dinner but be prepared to wait for it. Servis is really slow. But there are almost no other possibilities to eat something around. There is bakery and one bar on the main street open in the evening. There is supermarket Condi (9-23 every day). Rooms are for 130,-€. High price for bad value.
