- ccn8220244 contributionsBanff gondola ride up to Sulphur Mountain was fun. The view from the top was even more spectacular. You can see the whole surrounding area in a panoramic view.Written July 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dregehr81 contributionsHighly recommend visiting, better than Lake Louise. You cannot take a personal vehicle, my husband and I booked a shuttle online with Moraine Lake bus. Tips: book your shuttle months in advance and visit early morning for less crowds. Moraine Lake bus shuttle also visits Lake Louise.Written July 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jakab Travel TimeNewcastle, Australia49 contributionsHad a great time at the Stampede. Ticked off this event even if it wasn’t on the Bucket List. Days activities flowed very efficiently and a great entertaining afternoon.Written July 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dregehr81 contributionsMy husband and I visited Lake Louise during our recent visit in the area. We where staying at The Paradise lodge so it was an easy 20 minute walk other wise I would highly recommend booking a shuttle with Moraine Lake bus Shuttle, combining a visit to Moraine Lake & Lake Louis. Parking is absolutely crazy at Lake Louise, the area is crowded unless you go before 8 am, later in the day the area stops traffic from entering. Visitors to Lake Louise are not allowed entry to the Chateau, this is strictly enforced. There are washrooms on-site plus reusable bottle fillers for water, there are no cafes etc, you will find one however at Moraine Lake.Written July 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BandKNorfolkNorfolk, UK220 contributionsA very good place for a day out and family freindly. Lots of parking but you have to pay to park. Admission fee reasonable and lots to see and do. We walked around the site and taked with a few of the guides who explained what the exhibuts were about. A very good history lesson on the aerly pioneers of this vast region. Styaed almost to closing time. Only one disappointment was that the staem locomotive was not running due to the water shortage in Calgary at the time due to the main water pipe being broken. All water saving measures were being applied. We ll woth a visit.Written July 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nina MEdinburgh, UK7 contributionsPeyto lake is a beautiful place to see, with only a ~10 minute (steep) walk to the viewpoint from the car park. Can’t get over how blue the water looks. Would recommend to stop here if in Banff.Written July 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lena G2 contributionsSo glad we booked this on our trip up to Banff! Ben and Jo knowledgeably provided entertainment on Lake Minnewanka, that wouldn't have hit the same any other way. Experience Canadian history on a relaxing ride to the heart of the lake and back, while enjoying ancient, native lore, and taking in the serenity of the land surrounding you.

The animals were out and about the temperature was about 18 degrees that day. Arrived between 1-3 and was able to watch the animals get fed, that definitely attracted them so close to fences for some amazing pictures. Highly recommend visiting and checking out the new Polar bear exhibitWritten July 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Judy SCalgary, Canada22 contributionsThe museum staff were kind and helpful in finding things that I couldn't find on my own. The exhibits were stunning and I loved the experience. I just couldn't believe how complete the skeletons of the dinosaurs were. The gallery was so long it took me at least an hour to walk through it. Every inch of this museum is filled with interesting objects and bones. Every time I go there I buy a dinosaur figurine and now I have a box full of them.Written July 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carolina LCape Town, South Africa180 contributionsAwesome experience in which you can see the entire city. Also enjoyed the glass bottom. There is also a restaurant but the lady advices to make a reservation and my visit was spontaneous.Written June 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - laurieReno, NV23 contributionsVery crowded and steep canyon. The views are spectacular and worth seeing. We got there at 9 am and it was busy! Lots of single file lines and groups crowding the lookouts. I have knee issues and to the firth bridge and back was a lot of stairs and slippery rocks to walk on. I’m glad I did it though.Written July 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
