Fun day at the Adult pool!
I spent the day here while my husband worked at a conference. It was a really relaxing day! The adult only outside pool was situated in a great spot to still be able to enjoy the music and videos being shown on the big screen at the wave pool! I took my kindle and spent the day reading and relaxing! The food at the restaurant was good for lunch…a bit pricey but expected so not a big deal. The frozen drinks were really good and the bartender was very friendly and personable! Every staff I encountered was very friendly. I cannot speak to the water slides because I am old so did not venture to them at all but by the sound of the happy kids around I would say they were fun! I spent 6 hours there so the price of the ticket was well worth it to me!

    Great place for kids
We brought our grandchildren, ages 10 & 8 for a two night stay. I used my Marriott points for the room at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. The waterpark was the reason we came. Perfect winter getaway for kids of that age.

It’s fine. Kids will love it.
Your kids will love it. The pros: attentive lifeguards throughout, towels provided, a variety of areas to explore, temperature controlled. The cons: incredibly crowded, overpriced, and there are limited food options at Decibels (and all the items we ordered were terrible). My children loved the water slides the most; there were lines for the slides but the body slides and single inner tube slides go much more quickly than the line for the double inner tube slide. If you want to do the Flowrider (indoor surfing), be prepared to wait a very long time. My son waited in line for an hour and 45 minutes for his two minute turn, and others the day before told us they waited over two hours. Lockers are available (starting at $12/day). Chairs fill up quickly. Private cabanas are available…. for an extra $300+. Again, my kids loved it. But I’m in no rush to return - I felt that overall it was overpriced for what it is, and certainly not a “resort” experience.

We booked a party at SoundWaves. It was a little pricey, but that is what family wanted to do for a birthday party. Booking was not a problem. The room and food were ample. The problem came at the end of the visit. We had been told that some food would be refrigerated and available “at the front desk” at our departure. We were tired and leaving and began searching for the food. NO ONE could locate the food. Several at the “front desk” tried to help, but the SoundWaves workers were useless. Got a call later (after we had returned home) that they had found the food. Received an apologetic call and a hint that some of our money may be refunded. An email followed that “Donnie” (maybe the head of SoundWaves?) would contact us. Over a week later and radio silence. I guess their customer satisfaction does not extend to local Tennessee residents. SMH … last visit we’ll take to SoundWaves.

Had a blast here. Not all member stayed on-site so we booked a party room and that gives you tickets for x number of people into Soundwaves. Super helpful if not everyone is going to be staying at the hotel. A lot of activities for all ages (young and old). The kids had such a blast. If we visit Nashville again I would come back.

I live in Nashville and my family came to for the weekend. They spent $2000 to stay at opryland and purchased sound waves tickets. They don’t offer local day passes so I was unable to join them unless I wanted to spend $600 on a room I didn’t need. This is ridiculous.

So much fun. Heated area, not pool. Indoors a pool, two lazy rivers, flowrider (surf), several slides, kids play area, adult pool and snack bar. Outside has wave pool, slides, adult pool, kids play area and bar. So much fun. Towels provided, lifeguards, music and lots of fun.

My only recommendation and an important one!, try to come on a weekday the water park is open. Much less crowded and more enjoyable since its a small area.

The important things were done well...extremely clean and the lifeguards were very professional and on point. There were plenty of towels and a walk-in dryer machine to use on the way out. My only complaints were: the water was too cold (they said 82, and that's not warm enough for us), not enough chairs, not enough intertubes for the lazy river. However, when you go to a waterpark, your main things are cleanliness and safety and they got 5 stars on that.

We went for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day to the water park. There are at least five slides and two river attractions. My 14-year-olds enjoyed the fast river. My 11-year-old and 14-year-olds really enjoyed all of the slides. The lines were not long. The only source of food was a little expensive but enjoyable. There was a distinct lack of sitting locations however both days we were able to find places to make as a headquarters. Overall, I would suggest going to sound waves. The opryland hotel is another matter. The hotel is way overbooked and has too few restaurants and other accommodations inside.

Nicest, cleanest indoor waterpark I’ve ever been to! I’ve been to several water parks (French Lick, Dells), and this one was top notch. We were not overwhelmed by the smell of chlorine or chemicals upon walking in. Our eyes were not red and burning after a few hours of swimming. Everything was absolutely immaculate and high class. Absolutely recommend!!

There were a couple of really fun water slides we all enjoyed. The lazy river was beautiful and relaxing. The surfing was a blast and a bit harder than I thought it would be haha. Overall plenty to keep us busy all day.
