Important Notice About Your Bursar Bill

This Notice concerns the health insurance charge on your student account. The health insurance charge on your bill will initially reflect the full insurance charge for the semester or year. Once the add/drop period is over and your union eligibility is confirmed, your Local 2110 UAW 95% discount of the basic health insurance premium charge will be reflected on your account.

We recognize that the reconciliation will occur after the payment due date on the account statement. As an accommodation, Local 2110 UAW graduate employees shall be required to pay all charges on the bill less the amount of the health insurance charge by the payment due date. In other words, graduate employees must pay all charges for tuition and any other charges on their bills, except for the full insurance charge, by the payment due date
.
An updated student account statement will be issued to you 6 weeks into the semester that will reflect the 95% discount on the basic health insurance premium, assuming your union eligibility is confirmed. Payment will be due upon receipt.

If you have questions about your bill, please contact the Office of the Bursar by e-mail bursar.studentaccounts@nyu.edu or by phone at (212)998-2806.
