Alumni Appreciation & Recognition
The NYU Alumni Association (NYUAA) is proud to recognize outstanding alumni for their exceptional personal and professional achievements, as well as service and impact to the NYUAA, in their communities, and around the world. With more than 650,000 NYU alumni, we need you to help identify some of our outstanding alumni and shine a light on their impressive work. Please review the opportunities, including Distinguished Alumni Awards, NYU Alumni Changemakers, and Alumni Volunteer and Service Awards, and take a few moments to fill out the appropriate nomination form.

NYU Alumni Changemakers
The NYU Alumni Changemakers recognition honors entrepreneurs and visionaries who save lives and spread hope, while promoting ethical values, fostering inclusive dialogue, and driving action.
Distinguished Alumni Awards
The Distinguished Alumni Awards recognize respected and distinguished graduates whose personal achievement and/or service in professional, vocational, social, or cultural endeavors brings pride to the University. Awards include: the Distinguished Alumni Award; the Distinguished Young Alumni Award (for nominees age 40 or younger); and the Eugene J. Keogh Award for Distinguished Public Service.
Alumni Volunteer & Service Awards
Alumni Volunteer & Service Awards recognize alumni volunteers, whose service to NYU furthers the mission of the NYU Alumni Association. Awards include: Volunteer(s) of the Year; New Volunteer(s) of the Year; Meritorious Service Award; and the Lifetime Service Award.
Recognized NYU alumni clubs/groups can be nominated for the following awards:
- Club of Distinction
- Event of the Year
- Innovation of the Year
