Unlike Lovehoney’s popular Magic Wand vibe, though, this micro version is battery powered but that doesn’t mean it’s less powerful. With sliding speed control, it’s very easy to use and will quickly become a go-to toy during intercourse and foreplay - just remember to use lube, too!

Whilst it’s the smallest of our best wand vibrators round up, Lovehoney’s Micro Magic Wand may be small but it’s certainly mighty. Its design means you can get a comfortable grip during use, and thanks to its flexible neck you can work your way around quite easily and comfortably as you journey towards climax (several times).
As it’s battery-powered, you needn’t worry about having a mains outlet for charging or power nearby - unlike Lovehoney’s larger Magic Wand. But don’t let batteries deter you from this toy. Despite being battery-powered, this sex toy has a powerful motor and it’s sliding control means it’s super easy to use when you’re in the mood. Plus, as the name suggests, you can choose from three-speeds with different intensity levels that suit both beginners and the more experienced users.

In fact, I’ve found that the best thing about this mini wand vibe is that it doesn’t get in the way during intercourse, unlike its older sibling - the Lovehoney Mains Powered Magic Wand.
I should also add that it’s only for external use, and definitely avoid anal use. If that’s your thing, this probably isn’t the toy for you. In terms of noise, it’s not so loud that it’s annoying (and it’s still quieter than bigger wands) but it is noticeable, so I’d say it’s not the best toy for discretion. But for less than £20, it’s a great, affordable price and if you come from clitoral stimulation, then this Micro Magic Wand will do just the job.

With Lovehoney’s Micro Magic Wand being battery-powered, I of course focused on testing whether it is indeed powerful enough to help you climax. This toy shouldn’t be mistaken for a bullet because of its size - surprisingly, despite its size and power, this mini wand vibrator packs a punch and is certainly effective.
During testing I also made sure to consider how easy it is to use compared to other wand vibrators I’ve tried, as well as how comfortable it is to use in terms of material and flexibility.
How does Lovehoney’s Micro Magic Wand look?
It’s more compact and sleeker than Lovehoney’s classic wand vibrator, and has been designed to be smaller in size compared to traditional wands available. So, it’s super portable and easy to handle (especially during intercourse). The wand itself has a round, flexible head that offers precise stimulation but still gives a bit of wiggle room for sloppiness between orgasms. Its slender, ergonomic handle offers a comfortable grip and I found that to be secure during use.
There are two colours of Lovehoney’s 3-Speed Micro Magic Wand available to choose from: white and black. I’ve been testing the white version, which has a purple, flexible head and the recognisable Lovehoney logo on the front.
What’s the Lovehoney Micro Magic Wand like to use?
Don’t be put off by the size of this thing. From experience, it packs a punch that rivals that of larger wand vibrators that are available from Lovehoney and elsewhere. As it’s compact, it is easier to use and manoeuvre to target specific areas of your body with extra precision. But, the flexible neck still allows for some movement as you explore.
Its size also makes it incredibly versatile, and it can be used for masturbation or incorporated into partnered activities without getting in the way. The battery life was impressive, too. Since the beginning of testing, I’ve only needed to swap the batteries out once towards the end of the two month period.

Lovehoney Micro Magic Wand: how easy is it to clean?
Now, cleaning it I struggled with, I’ll admit. Mainly because I went into autopilot mode and completely forgot that the toy isn’t waterproof or submersible as it’s battery powered. Thankfully, I was quick enough to not cause any damage to the toy and batteries - but lesson learnt.
Since that error, cleaning it with a sex toy cleaner has been easy. Although, I was disappointed that the toy didn’t come with its own storage bag.
