Earlier this year we hosted an off-the-record dinner for 14 CEO's & CMO's of companies we all admire across fashion, finance, retail, tech and entertainment. Two topics dominated the convo even with these top execs on the planet: 1) How do we leverage creators within our marketing in an authentic way? Lots of variance in the group from "where do we even start" to "here's where we've screwed up and here's where its working incredibly well." 2) We must test and iterate on real life applications of AI for our business rather than just talk about them. Largely focused on creating efficiency more so than big disruptive ideas at this moment. Again, huge variance of experience from "I've built a personal AI" to "We are just now figuring out how to spend time on this." Next week Morning Brew is hosting events on both topics in NYC. These are big opportunities for all of us right now and we've assembled an all star line up to give you the goods. What he said
The Morning Brew team is knocking the cover off the ball right now. I'm so damn proud & inspired. 5 years ago, we were just a newsletter. Today, we're winning Webby Awards for our social & video content (h/t Macy Gilliam, Dan Toomey, Uber Bautista). I don't think people realize how hard that is. Almost no media co's get to any meaningful scale. And even fewer prove they're not a one-hit wonder. Crossing the chasm from 4.5 million newsletter subscribers to 2 Webby's is like catching lightning in a bottle TWICE. And only possible because of the raw talent & herculean effort of this team.

If you were not able to make our AI for Marketers event a few weeks back, check out the short trailer below. We'll be hosting (at least) 6 more Morning events like this throughout 2024 on other big topics for our b2b brands.
We had an awesome time at “The Marketer's (Early) Guide to AI” - Marketing Brew’s kick off to this year’s series of our Morning Events. The intimate yet energetic gathering of 200 marketers (with an additional 650+ watching the live stream) got actionable advice and sharp insights from leaders at Microsoft, Ogilvy, Zappos Family of Companies, Bloomreach and more about how AI is fast becoming a need-to-know subject matter for marketers of all walks. Thank you to our sponsors who made the event possible: Intuit Mailchimp, Akkio and Studio by Tishman Speyer. Check out this video recap of the day, and we’ll see you at the next one!
