On July 4, 2021, I had a seminal moment about midnight, backpack blowing fireworks debris in 55 degree rain. At that moment, I realized I loved my 17 years MiLB but with two small kids at home, and three ballparks built, it was time to find the next challenge. In that in that cold, rain-soaked moment, I did not have the ability to dream big enough to believe what happened last week could manifest into reality. I cannot sufficiently put into words what it felt like to make a confetti-angel on the history laden parquet floor at 4:30 am, nor describe the perspective of looking out to two million people from a duck boat during a championship parade, nor kissing the Larry O’Brien trophy like it was an infant. The only word I can conjure up is grateful. I am genuinely thankful for the opportunity given to me. Sincerely appreciative for my ever supporting family and friends, the mentors in my life, and my talented colleagues who have welcomed me openly. Last week was euphoric. I hope to one day feel it all over again. ☘️

Huge congrats!!!! The season, the series, the parade - all EPIC!! Love these amazing photos and your reflections on it all, as I know a tremendous amount of hard work went into every moment behind the team on the court. I hope you do feel it again but maybe take a breath and a bow first? ☘️ 💚
Congrats, Rob. Magical season.
Just THRILLED for you, Rob!! Couldn’t happen to a better person. You deserve all the confetti.
Congrats again Rob Crain
Congrats again, Rob! Well deserved.
You deserve every bit of that. Congrats, Rob! PS: everyone talks about the tarp being the worst job. I always contended it was the fireworks debris! Haha.
Congratulations!!! What a lifetime of memories.
Enjoy 18, but let's get 19 soon!
How freaking cool is that??!! 🤣 so Rob, just so I'm clear... midnight leaf blower in 55 degree rain, not as good as championship celebration at the garden or duck boats with 2 million fans?! 🤣 🤣 🤣

2wThe firework cleanup photo brought me back to some very fond memories of late night tarp pulls and Summer Saturday home games at McCoy! Psyched to see all of your success Rob, keep it rolling!
