Rob Crain’s Post

The partnership announced today is a culmination of great leadership and vision provided by Tory Pachis & Ted Shallcross. The Amica team, under their guidance, has clear direction in how they see Amica growing, with empathy at the forefront. Their goals, and the Celtics robust, passionate fan base, along with our genuine and impactful community efforts, intersected perfectly to create a remarkable partnership. For me, the best part of building this partnership was the people. Maximilian McGonigle will go into the presentation hall of fame with the data and stunning visuals he and his team created. Jim Kallinich, Samantha Paoletti, and Geoff Guerin are best-in-class when it comes to building high quality relationships and bringing the relationship to life. Today was the first event, which took incredible effort, and it was 1,000 out of 10. What’s about to come with Dave Hoffman, Kash Cannon and our community team will have generational impact, and that’s not an overstatement. I learned an incredible amount, and tried to be a sponge as Theodore Dalton masterfully constructed mutually beneficial deal points. Paul Furia and the Mother team was an absolute pleasure to work with as we went back and forth throughout the contracting process. I’m pretty sure there were a few weeks that I spoke to him more often than my wife! Nick Macera , Elizabeth Papa Marissa Gendreau, Kristin (., Mike Plante and the entire Amica team have been incredible partners and we are just on day one! Recently, I made a personal goal to try and put things both professionally and personally into better perspective. The first sale of my sports career, with the Southwest Michigan Devil Rays, was a 20 person picnic sold to the Applebee’s in Coldwater, MI. That was cool at the time. The jersey patch partnership with the Celtics and Amica, also cool…

You are a force of nature, Rob Crain. And no, I'm not saying that because of the three separate times we were on the phone while your basement flooded during this deal. Thank you for having Amica Insurance's best interests at heart every step of this journey...and it's only just begun, my friend.

It always comes back to Battle Creek 😉 Proud of all you’ve accomplished, dear!

I guess this is a slightly bigger deal than the (long long ago) partnership of the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel and the SWB Railriders! Congrats, my Super Friend !!!!! You are amazing.
