Leaders who are engaged with their people know the answers to these questions, Isabelle, while those who have only a superficial relationship will never know. Higher leaders who rely on surveys think themselves justified in doing so, yet they are not getting even a surface level reading.

You have to be willing to ask the questions to get to the truth. That's extremely important. Then, you have to be willing to listen.
