For the past 5 years, in a variety of methods, Oura Ring has been a research tool to help the military manage fatigue on long-haul flights with the Air Force, supported Navy Seals to monitor the impacts of stress and PTSD, and sponsored the Warrior Games as veterans compete against each other as part of their recovery journey. Women’s health is key for everyone. Women are the chief medical officer in the home as the gatekeepers of family’s health. Research shows when women are heathier, everyone’s benefits. When future generations look back on this moment what will they think? It is hard to not get angry when we are questioning access to emergency care, rights to birth control and fertility and more equitable research across all health care. Now is the time to channel anger in to action and advocacy.

Imagine giving your kid a beer? Sounds shocking right? The impact of sugar on the liver of kids is equally as shocking but we have normalized this as a symbol of love and celebration. The most vulnerable of kids rely on school lunches for the majority of their nutrition. The largest restaurant in town is the school cafeteria. Think about that. This is why we must make sure the food in schools in not just poising our kids but actually nourishing them. Eat Real Certified is tackling this head on. Last week I got to return to my old stomping ground in London for some partner meetings. It was so cool to visit the Oxford Circus tube to see the immersive Oura advertising. I used to dash past through the tube stop living in London 20 years ago - and this time I was able to stop and enjoy the moment. Over the last few months, I have been testing this feature. I was shocked to learn that my cardiovascular age was older than my biological age. So I prioritized movement — increasing my daily steps and adding weight training to my routine. The results? My cardiovascular age has declined by seven years in 6 weeks! It's truly motivating to see the tangible effects of lifestyle changes on my health metrics. These new features don't just measure; they guide. The app provides recommendations for improving cardiovascular age or VO2 max, giving members the tools we need to enhance our health proactively. So whether you're a fitness enthusiast or just starting your wellness journey, these features offer a personalized path to better health.
