Five teams of graduate students from very presitigious universities will appear in Miami on April 18th for judging on their amazing projects. Drum roll please...
The finalists are: (in alphabetical order)
Englewood Residences and Wellness: University of Chicago
Affordable housing and recreational opportunities on Chicago's south side, presented by Zachary Beavor, Gabriela Gonzalez, Neesha Patadia, Marina Smalling, students in the Booth MBA and Chicago MPP programs.
Lantana Village: Florida International University
A mixed use development on the site of an abandoned K-Mart in North Broward County, presented by Julian Acosta and Paul Luzuriaga from the MSIRE program
A Fifteen-Minute City in Jacksonville's Normandy Neighborhood: University of Florida
The title says it all! Presented by Alex Azar, Zachary Flaksman, Boyd Merrill, Ruben Restrepo, and Chris Kennedy from the MSRE program
Northside Village:University of Miami
A transit-oriented, mixed-use development northwest of Miami's downtown, presented by David Flaxer, Daniel Cutimano, Josh Simpson, and Michael Montano from the Accelerated MBA in Real Estate, MRED, and MCM programs.
