Our ecosystems Strategic Partnerships Lead, Sheila Valverde Bartens, never thought she would do the job she’s doing now. However, being willing to try something new in an industry she knew little about changed her career path. #Fintech #JUMOjourney ‘I met my husband at university while I was completing my post graduate studies in economics and finance. We moved to London together shortly after that, and I was fortunate enough to gain work experience at some well-established asset management companies. Working for an asset management start-up proved to be my most exciting, scary and rewarding job in London. As their first employee I had to fulfil many different roles, from choosing office premises to meeting our institutional investors. I had a new appreciation and perspective for the industry I was working in – a holistic view. ‘This enabled me to understand how the different components of the business worked individually, as well as how they needed to fit together to deliver results. Without this insight, I would not have been able to carry out my role. I loved the problem-solving aspects of the job and working on end-to-end solutions. It was a steep, nerve-wracking learning curve, but a hugely rewarding experience. ‘After seven years in London we returned home to South Africa and started a family. As the business manager of an asset management sales team, I was content, but I missed the excitement and fulfilment from my previous role. I also wanted to be able to tell my daughter one day that I was passionate about my job, and how I was contributing to society. We all want to be role models for our children. ‘During this time, a friend of mine put me in contact with a fintech recruiter. Given all my past work experience in asset management, I wondered what I could offer a fintech company. But I followed my heart and despite my fears joined JUMO as an ecosystem manager for their Ugandan market. I just knew that if I didn’t do it, I might regret it. It was a new industry with many unknowns, yet I was determined to get to know the business and find solutions to new challenges. ‘I learnt that if you are willing to learn, be vulnerable, ask questions and work hard, your career needn’t be limited by your past work experience or education. How we show up and collaborate with our colleagues is what counts. No one has all the answers. ‘Working at JUMO enables me to work towards solving the challenge of bringing financial services to the unbanked population. I’m proud of the work we do at JUMO, and the role I play in its mission of financial inclusion. I am now able to tell my daughter that I love the job I have, thanks to me not letting my past dictate my future.’

Hello, everyone! I hope this message finds you well. I am available to work as a Market Strategist. Let me tell you a little more about myself. I have 5 years of working experience in the financial industry, including big companies like Binance, Exness, and Zeal (Cryt Exchange). Professional background: 14 years of trading and investment experience. Brilliant partner (with Exness), fund management (Social trading account on the Exness platform) with a profit of 97% for three consecutive months and a drawdown of 20%. I manage a fund worth more than $35,000. Link: https://lnkd.in/gS5Z9rgx YouTube Channel for Trading Education: https://lnkd.in/gqePueQR If you have any connections with brokers who might be interested in this position, or if you know of any friends who are hiring for it, I would appreciate your help in making a referral. I truly appreciate your assistance. Which certificate have I received? Academic qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. I am currently pursuing EPAT and intend to complete it by the end of 2024. I am comfortable with either working remotely or in an office in Vietnam. I agree to relocate to another country only if I am offered a comprehensive relocation package that includes my wife, three-year-old daughter, and school. My expected salary is $2000 USD (my last job at Cryt Exchange paid that much, and my trading income is consistent at $2k-3k per month). The reason I chose to return to work, despite the fact that I can work independently. The first reason is that I want to learn more about operations and the finance industry. I know I am not perfect, and there is a lot more for me to learn outside of my box. I prefer to give trading presentations and talk about trading ideas than to sit alone and trade. I am hungry for knowledge because I know I am a little boy in this financial industry, and there is a lot of wisdom waiting for me to learn. And the best way to learn and contribute is to find a company where I can work for the rest of my life. Thank you for reading about my open-to-work introduction. I greatly appreciate your time and your assistance. Sincerely, Raymond Bui.

MBA'25 from BML Munjal University || Operations & HR || Live project with Finlatics || Worked as a Assistant manager Maintenance department in STEEL industry at Vedanta Resources|| Certified EMS Internal auditor ||
I'm thrilled to share that I have successfully completed my live project with Finlatics as a Financial Analyst. This experience has been incredibly insightful and has broadened my horizons in the world of finance. 🌐💼 During my time at Finlatics, I had the opportunity to dive deep into financial analysis, market research, and explore various aspects of the financial world. This project has not only expanded my knowledge but has also equipped me with a valuable skill set that I believe will be instrumental in my career journey. 💡 One of the highlights of my experience was the opportunity to research and analyze prominent companies like Jindal and Bharat Forge. These industry giants operate in challenging and dynamic markets, and this project allowed me to gain in-depth insights into their financials, market trends, and competitive landscapes. 📑💼 Analyzing these companies has been an eye-opener, and I'm grateful for the chance to learn from real-world situations and apply my knowledge in a practical setting. 📈📚 I'd like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire Finlatics team for their guidance, mentorship, and support throughout this project. It's been an incredible journey, and I look forward to applying what I've learned in my future endeavors. This project has not only been a professional development opportunity but a personal growth journey as well.
