It was an absolute pleasure to be part of hkp///group's summer event, sharing some of Embera Partners' insight on capital markets trends with a focus on how institutional investors integrate ESG into their decision making. The "S", the social component was often overlooked, with climate and environmental aspects being focused on mostly, but topics as human capital management, employee training and upskilling, reduced inequalities e.g. paygap, put Human Resources on the map, also for investors. 🔷 How do supervisory board need tp prepare in this transformational situation? 🔷 What role does HR and the CHRO play in engaging with capital markets stakeholders? 🔷 How can social KPI's impact financials? Erste Group Bank AG ESG conference was not only welll attended and organized, it also showed the clear need for a transition in CEE with a great network of people willing to make it happen. After 20 years in the corporate world, developing successful businesses in financial services, corporate governance, M&A and most recently ESG, the decision was to become an entrepreneur myself.
