It's a good exercise but if you think you have ADHD, do not attempt stuff like this until you're on medication. Otherwise it's unlikely to work and just be frustrating. An estimated 5-10% of the population has ADHD and it's highly hereditary. Given how poorly the medical community understands and handles ADHD the population figures might be a lot higher.
