    The purpose of the Board of Adjustment is to act as an "appeal" panel when an applicant disagrees with the determination of the Planning Department of the Town of Pineville. In those instances, the Board would review the relevant code sections, hear testimony and argument from the applicant, hear testimony and argument from the Planning Department, and rule on whether the code sections were correctly applied in the circumstances.
